NHL game center Verizon G2 on custom rom - Verizon LG G2

Any one help? NHL game center app is telling me i don't have a Verizon 4GLTE phone. Usually get a free upgrade to premium to listen to games but now it won't work. I just flashed the ROM and it stopped working.

Used to work on my GS3. Then I got an LG G2 and the app doesn't seem to recognize that I'm a Verizon customer. I've got this up on the Verizon forum as well, and I'll I've got back is a super uber helpful response of "it works on my LG Lucid". Thanks, that totally fixed my problem that it works on YOUR phone.
I hope you get some sort of answer because I'm stuck as well.

I have the same issue on the stock ROM. I used the live streaming audio feature on my old Nexus LTE phone but when I've never been able to get it to work on the LG G2.

Haven't heard that but that's awesome! Can you post a link to the source?

I am unsure as to what this means?
that was one of the things that drew me to this phone over the charge and thunderbolt, it supported VoLTE out of the box
here's a link to engadget: http://www.engadget.com/2012/01/20/verizons-reportedly-trials-volte-services-in-two-cities-eyes-n/
recognize that phone in the picture?
here's one from last Feb: http://www.engadget.com/2011/02/09/verizon-successfully-completes-first-volte-call-in-the-world-pl/
Hot dang. I have no clue what that all means, but I am glad it's on meh phone.
Edit: So does this mean that we can soon use tablets to call with bluetooth? That we don't need a radio to call? Hmm? That would seem interesting, and would make Verizon the leader of LTE indeed.
I heard it from my Verizon store.... anyone know when its sposed to happen

all verizon has said is that it's supposed to launch nationwide in 2013, was supposed to launch this year. they've been testing it with the Revolution since last February.
It is the first phone you can actually Talk and surf the web at the same time.
VoLTE (Voice over LTE). You have to have 4G and you have to wait till next year. I love Verizon...
Like Kane it was one of the features that drew me to this phone but since Verizon has yet to put 4G in my area, I forgot about this feature. I bought this 4G phone because Verizon said it would be available in my area in October 2011... Here we are almost February 2012... No 4G. Now I am just shooting for before the end of the world in December...
That can't be true because... the revolution is current using 3g voice and text

All the 4g phones on Verizon are able to talk and text. I believe they are talking about making it so your phone calls and text messages will be carried over 4g compared to how Verizon transfers your calls and texts currently. It'll probably lead to your phone calls being much clearer in the future since it will be carried over a better network than it is currently.

Not everyone lives in a 4G area... I live just north of LA and there is no 4G here which is odd as I can toss a rock and hit LA.
I can talk on the phone and tether at the same time, also text and all. For those of you that think VoLTE will be coming to the Revo, remember this phone has reached it's END OF LIFE. Whoever posted those articles the 2nd one was from last February. There are no more updates coming to this phone, there is no ICS until we get cm9. Someone would have to come up with a hack most likely to enable VoLTE on the Revo.

[Q] LG G Flex Text Message Sending Lag

My LG G Flex running on the AT&T Network has a weird issue going on and im wondering if anyone has the same issue. Its a D950.
Not every time, but sometimes when a send a text message is will sit at sending FOREVER, like a full minute. I can receive text messages during this time just fine, and if I send more messages they sit at sending until eventually they all send at the same time. Did not happen with my last phone.
Anyone have any insight?
No but i am on tmobile version
Sent from my LG-D959 using Tapatalk
I'm thinking about just trying a factory reset.. But I'm just kind of doubting it will fix it in my head so I haven't done it yet.
Sent from my LG-D950 using Tapatalk
A minute is forever? Hehe. I noticed it on my T-Mobile Flex today. I was in the basement though and didn't think much of it.
Sent from my LG-D959 using Tapatalk
Seems like forever.. I guess this phone is kind of disappointing me and I'm having a little buyers remorse.. And I just want the issue to be fixed.
Sent from my LG-D950 using Tapatalk
Seems like a minor issue. Good thing you don't have Sprint. LoL. Maybe KitKat will fix it but I would just return it if I wasn't happy.
Sent from my LG-D959 using Tapatalk
I have the same issue with mine. I have done the factory reset a couple times and it always comes back. it is as if the phone looses its "Handshake" with the tower while switching from LTE to non-LTE and such. I have had mine sit at sending for over 5 mins a couple times....
I contacted LG and all they said was to clear cache in the messaging app and if that doesn't work to send it to them for a software reload... Sigh..
Schollianmj do you have a d950 on AT&T?
Sent from my LG-D950 using Tapatalk
doesn't happen to me on T-Mobile; probably your carrier
Not the phone, its network related... ive gotten this occasionally on the last 4 phones ive had...
The last couple hours been switching my Sim from one phone to another and it does it with the G Flex, not with my note 2

I have noticed it. I also noticed it on my Optimus G. Not sure if it's an LG or AT&T thing, but it can be frustrating, even if it is infrequent.

Yeah people are trying to sell phones at higher cost cuz its installed on them. Even tho I can still download it from google play and it auto restores with my apps when I flash new roms
Sent from my VS980 4G using Tapatalk
I think it's mostly an iPhone thing, as getting an app onto one that isn't from the app store requires sorcery. As said anyone can get it on an Android device since the apk is floating around without any sort of hack or warranty violation so I see no reason it would drive up the cost there.

Yup, but the average Joe is pretty stupid when it comes to smartphones. In face, a vzw rep actually told me that rooting was a way to install apps out side of the play store. And she was paid to know this stuff lol

I wouldn't doubt it one bit. Walked into a verizon to check out a case one day. Lady was trying to help customer with something built into phone and I butted in to say what to do. sometimes regular normal people have to bring to them haha. I was still looked at all messed up, just mad I was right ?
Sent from my VS980 4G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
The game was pulled from the Apple Store, and unless you're jailbroken, you couldn't get it anymore - so many people were trying to sell their iPhones with the app still installed, for retarded amounts of money. I was seeing them on eBay and craigslist for up to $2000 because of it...

I didn't either, and apparently, Mahdi is the most popular G2 ROM currently available. Not to mention, it was recently updated on 6/11.

Because dr87 is the best developer on here for us. Fact ? I've been running it since the first build in January. So awesome. He's pumped so much source from the N5 into this ROM, its incredible. Stability and performance is second to none.
I installed it but my wireless charging did not work so I uninstalled it. Anybody knows about a fix?
Is see its available for Verizon correct

Any G3 based Roms yet?

I just went through a bunch of posts and I am not seeing any Stock G3 ports yet. Has the firmware just not been released yet?

Look in lg-g2 android development section, there are several g3 ports for "all variants"
I use CloudyG3. Absolutely love it!
xdabebb is supposedly putting together a ported g3 rom for the g2 based of the Verizon G3. There is no eta but he stated that he should have one available in the coming weeks.

I just upgraded to LG G3 from the G2 with cloudyG3 installed and still thinking in going back to the G2. Cloudy is so smooth in the [email protected] that it i unbelievable. Only thing that prevents me to go back is the SD card slot of the G3 otherwise G2 with Cloudy G3 best smartphone out there and I have had them almost all.
So CloudyG3 works with our Verizon G2? The thread there says only GSM phones are supported.

Cloudy does work on a verizon g2. I'm using tmobile on one right now and it works perfectly
T-Mobile is GSM, that's why there's no issue with your MMS. It's a Verizon phone, but you're running a GSM network on it, not CDMA.
Both g3 ports that are gsm based work pretty rough on Verizon. I was roaming most of the day.
Sent from my VS980 4G using XDA Free mobile app
I had some signal issues when I was using cloudy G3, sometimes I'd lose service completely for about 30 seconds then it would come back.
