I don't have this problem with ADW Launcher.
Has anyone had an issue with the back soft key not responding?
It reacts like it registers the key press (vibrates) but doesn't complete the actual action.
I also saw this issue on the buggy 18.12.2013 cm11 that had had tweaks to the boot. img.
Very nice rom btw, has great options

So what's the possibility of this rom working on the GPE edition of the gpad?

how is the battery life on this compared to paranoidandroid rom?

Awful backlight will be improved next build since LGE did a terrible job

Thanks for your great ROM and your work.
Just to mention it:
I've tested your ROM, had some issues with Playstore (won't download any Apps).
Compared to my slightly modified stock rom I've lost roundabout 50% performance in Quadrant.
Went down from 12150 to 6800 Points.
Any hints what could be the cause?
My best regards from Germany and merry Christmas!

This ROM seems to have the best battery life of those I've tried so far, but of course, everything is subjective.
It seems to have the fewest problems. Sound volume is correct, no battery drain, etc.

Of the lingering 4.2.2 bugs we know of due to kernel support, which ones still remain here? Great to hear that the camcorder is working but I use BT in my car so the BT issues have been holding me to blur based ROM's.
Majority of everything works.. playback caused a reboot..even though I know the video recorded.. gonna try a diff video player. Also is it possible to include in the next version the ability to turn off Lock Screen Rotation? I know you can do it with Xenon and some other 4.2.2 roms. Thanks in advance for all your fantastic work Nitro! You da man!
edit: also the phone will fall asleep and pressing the lock button won't wake it...I've seen this in CM10.1 for the XT912... need to press volume down + power to reboot it...

Tried this today and BT problems sent me back to his 4.1.2 Eclipse. I get pairings(eventually,) but no audio.

What has kept me from going to a 4.2.2 rom (aosp or aokp) and has kept me on rage hd is battery life and stability problem After installing 90+ apps with titanium backup (app only restores of course and no data) So how is the battery life for this rom and stability?

I'm pretty sure anything compiled with the latest kernel commits will be having force closes, battery drain, and sleep of death. It's not Nitro, the ROM, or anyone else's fault right now. Just flash and be happy, things are moving along.

Found a way to avoid SOD by upping the minimum clock speed; that will howver increase battery drain soo we'll see... however video playback with either the Gallery or MXvideo causes a reboot of the OS... hopefully the new version with the kernel update fixes this problem...

Okay, well thank you my good friend.
ROM features mentioned in the first post, is very good and exciting. But I have a question: Does this ROM is suitable for daily use?
Is not this ROM has many bugs?
Is there something that may not work in this version of the ROM?
If Stable ROM to install it until I do, because I do not change much Rom!
Grateful :fingers-crossed:

Bug Report
Hi,
I thing I have found some bugs,
- Torch App is force closing on every try
- Set some picture as wallpaper (and picture is higher resolution), after reboot the picture is cropped and outspread
In customization settings

EDIT1: SOLVED - reinstalled ROM
In customization settings
- > Lock screen > Clock widget > Clock and alarm > Use digital clock, Bold Hours, Bold minutes, Bold date and alarm, Font color, Alarm font color, everything without any response
- > Lock screen > Enable camera widget without any response
Others options I haven't tested, I don't use them

One question: is it possible to delete google search bar ?
Thanks guys for your time,
I will keep my fingers crossed for further work, and features of this ROM :good:

A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. The cyanogen lock clock was disabled for the moment because it was causing a huge battery drain issue, which is probably why that one crashes
Next build the init.d section of the rom will be fixed:good:

Thanks goes out to: My tester @razen_kain. He tests on the S2 but I build the same ROM for both devices. I test the Note 2 versions
Also Entire CyanogenMod Team for making their source open and available to the public. Pretty damn awesome of them if you ask me

How so? Tester been running for 2 days now
Does this ROM suffer from the crazy, erratic signal bars that the other AOSP/CM ROM's do?
On At&t if that matters?

On my initial boot there was a constant system force close. I re-downloaded gapps and reflashed and was OK since.
It is VERY smooth. Although I don't know if that's sabermod at work or the fact my kernel just keeps hanging about at top CPU speed. I've been trying to get it to sit a bit lower but so far no luck.
Otherwise I'm liking it. Thanks!
Awesome rom, never been able to try a sabermod rom before but been wanting to. So far I think this might be my new daily driver coming from crdroid.

Ui crash sounds like you pulled gapps with Google+. Change the governor for CPU. Kernel is prebuilt so I didn't have to actually mess with it. I build custom kernels but for Samsung. HTC so much different. I think it's on interactive governor by default. I never use that one personally

No actually that works. Slim power menu shortcut doesn't. In developer options just uncheck and the recheck and it comes up. Very strange. I had to start from scratch awhile back and haven't cleaned these weird little things up yet. I mean it's checked, it should work LOL. It's on my list tho for sure. V4 will have lots behind the scenes and cleanup

I've tried about every CM/AOSP ROM on this forum and every one has a bug with the signal bars where they constantly jump around. I've tried different radios and have had no luck, they still jump around.
Not sure if it's just At&t or not, but if anyone on At&t has flashed this ROM can you let me know if this is an issue?

Ok thanks it does work. I did find that Stock Recents look is broken. WHen I got into Recents app panel and turn off slim recents then hit the recents button it results in a systemui FC.

That's normal. SystemUI is just restarting with the other recents panel. That is completely normal. For a second there is no recent app. It's gotta restart
