hi guys.. Previously s off, unlocked and supercid.. I need to send it back for warranty that way I lock it..
Is it OK if I send it like this? Or fix it?
And how can I fix it? I've read that I need to flash a firmware.. 2x? Can I do it with locked bootloader and s on?
Thanks

Its very risky flashing a firmware.zip if ur S-ON. It would be much better to Unlock and S-OFF before flashing the firmware. Flash the 3.62.401 firmware TWICE in command prompt. I believe the issue was that you didn't flash the firmware twice. Its better to ensure that the issue is fixed before sending it for repair and claiming warranty

Unlocked bootloader = No OTA updates?

Hi guys, i'm a noob to rooting coming from iOS so sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.
I have just unlocked the bootloader of my HTC One using the method on the HTC Dev site and i noticed
that some of the stock applications were missing. After a little research it would seem that because of the missing stock
apps i can no longer receive OTA updates.
I just want to know if this is in fact the case and if there is anything i can do to fix it such as
find copies of the missing apps and put them back on the device.
I was only planning to root for the time being but am now worried that i will no longer receive updates
Any help welcome
Once a Ruu is out you can Ruu your phone which will wipe everything and restore it to factory then take the OTA then just root again. I'm sure other solutions will come to be but for now that's one way to go about it.

Unfortunately, I think you'd have to re-lock in order to flash an RUU. Only way I can think of is comparing the missing files and push them to the device again after rooting.

Solution = backup sd, relock phone, ruu phone, take ota, HTC dev unlock, restore sd, flash recovery, flash Rom

[Q] Recovery Error

I'm on Android 4.2.2 and would like to upgrade to Android 4.3 OTA. However, I rooted my phone previously and change the recovery to CWM.
Due to camera error and release of 4.3 OTA in my country, I got a stock recovery from one of the thread in XDA here and flash it using Flashify. However, I got errors while upgrading using OTA. After the recovery tries to flash the OTA, halfway it turns the icon red. I'm not sure what's happening as I'm new here.
Please advice.

Yes, I'm on stock Rom but removed some stock apps. Is this causing the problem?

Yes I'm rooted. Bootloader in unlocked too.
Yes the Rom has to be completely stock.
About the Bootloader: I'm not sure if you have to relock it. There was no need for it on my OneX, but it could be different on the One

Help! downgrade from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 (n920p) or a CFW 5.1.1

Hello All.
I have tried to downgrade from 6.0.1 to 5.1.1 but it marks the following errors:

I was thinking that maybe a CFW 5.1.1 may work but I do not know which one to choose, I need a helping hand to help me with this problem.
My cellphone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 n920p USA.
I want to downgrade 5.1.1 because in that version I can unlock the cell phone with "GTv3.1.5.apk" and "GTUpdate2_v3.1.8.apk" .
If you want more information, I will gladly give it to you.
First of all, Thanks
UP!
Please I need help!
I read somewhere that if you took the ota to 6.0.1 you could not downgrade anymore.
Not saying its not impossable to downgrade, But Samsung has been using revert lock in their bootloaders and with sboot error showing in odin its revert lock..
So, is there any way to downgrade either by CFW.
Or is there any way to unlock it, without using the z3x box or whatever it is called, I dont have that box xD.

Still on Nougat 7.1.1

Use flashtool to flash oreo, it's no need unlock bootloader.

Can you please help me?
Warm greetings
The problem is right there: Bootloader is already unlocked. You can't disable OEM Unlocking if the bootloader is unlocked.

hmm okay, I'll leave it like that. can you please help me with the error message i keep getting?
By the way if you want to relock your bootloader you can do it the same way you unlocked it and and you will be able to turn off Oem unlocking
Maybe the error message is from your carrier? Just contact support and ask.
Bringing back to stock will probobly resolve all errors.

I've already tried, unfortunately it didn't work. I downloaded the firmware and did it with Odin, everything stayed the same :/
To get rid of the warning, just check following thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ring-on-rooted-devices.4503767/#post-87725035
