[Q] Battery Problem

Just recently, my captivate battery has been draining very fast. I've been going from 100% to 0 in about 8 hours. The main battery consumer is Android System. There are no processes that are keeping the phone on according to BatterBatteryStats. I loose about 7-8 percent every hour while it is in idle/deep sleep. If I enable the extreme setting on Juice Defender, it bumps up the battery life to about 24+ hours. But if I use juice defender, sending and receiving mms is very difficult. I tried it on another spare battery and it gave me the same results. This problem started earlier this week and hasn't gone away yet. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

[Q] moto x kitkat restarting phone problems.

hey guys, this is a very weird problem. I just noticed this problem.
I charged my phone up to 100 percent. went down to 86 percent or something like that. it was like 2 hours and 30 mins on battery. I restarted my phone. I look at the battery time and it was at like 2 mintues. it started its cycle all over. Then I also noticed it wasn't counting on screen time. I even went into details and it said screen wasn't on.
anyone having this bug problem?

Anyone have an N6 and a Moto360?

I'm experiencing excessive battery drain on my Moto360 since I got the N6. I used to go all day and by bedtime I would still have 20% charge, now it's completely dead by 4pm.
Trying to diagnose an issue with mine specifically or if this is an issue with the N6.
Thanks!

I've noticed slightly worse battery life as well. But, I'm not sure if it's because it's paired with the N6 or if it's Wear 5.0. I got jumped from the G3 to the N6 and never even got the 360 update until I got the N6. So it's hard for me to say. That being said, there's definitely something causing battery drain on the 360. Mine is nowhere near as excessive as your battery drain though. I'd just try and reset it if I were you.
I did a reset last night and I got the 5.0 update this morning. By 10am I was down to 38% battery. No idea what the issue is, hopefully the update will solve it. Also reset my phone thinking there may be an issue there and reinstalled the apps.
I haven't tested since 5.0 update, since I just got the update yesterday, but prior to that I didn't have an issue and only charged my 360 every other day and sometimes not until late on the 2nd day. Not sure what would be causing it other than an app being open and constantly syncing or pushing notifications constantly.
Battery on my 360 lasted all day with my moto x. With the nexus, its dead.
No trouble here. In fact, I'm getting slightly better battery life after the update to the watch a few days ago.
I did encounter something similar when I first got my watch. In my case, it was an Android Wear game I installed that had crashed after starting it on the watch, and must have kept running something in the background. I uninstalled the game, and haven't had battery troubles since.
Watch has been off the charger for 8 hours, and has 56% battery left after heavy use today.

I'm at 70% after 8 hours. All good here!
I am with 80% after hours. nexus 6: 5.0.1, moto 360 5.0.1
All good with mine, Nexus 5.0.1 and Moto 360 5.0.1 Build LWX48T

Mediaserver battery drain

Is anyone else having this issue? it started yesterday, the phone is heating up like crazy on the top part, and the "mediaserver" process is always on, I am getting like 3 hrs of battery life (definitely no more than 4 hrs).
I am thinking of returning the phone, any idea on how to stop this process or suggestions?
Thanks.

Moto X 2014 Battery Issues (6.0)

Hi all,
I would like to talk about my battery. I have never gotten above 2 and a half hours of screen on time, not even on lollipop and I'm on marshmallow now. I feel like doze does not really work because the battery drains at night by over 20 percent just idling. Also, my battery chart shows 3 hours left at 85%. I noticed that Android System was usually at the top of the list of things using the battery the most. Does anyone have a fix for this situation? I only got the phone last summer and believe that battery life should be way better than this.
