P.S. If your like me and you have major issues dealing with this low res screen then download NOmone resolution changer and set it to 720 x 1296 and a 320 dpi. Everything fits. And just to be sure do a full reboot. The only issues you will have is the battery icon will be colored and the boot and down animation will be a tad weird looking.

What does this mod do? It good that someone is working on our phones .

TImeline?
Any progress on this project yet? I recently removed my HTC setup wizard my phone by mistake and now it is foreclosing and will not let me use my phone properly. I know flashing this rom will get me up and running again. So when could we expect a link? I will donate as soon as I get paid.

Awesome! I can't wait til this project is ready. The name sounds cool, too.

I will finish this rom as soon as someone posts a rom. I need to fix my phone. While compiling and testing this rom my phone shut off and now i deleted all the symlinks in my phone so it no longer boots. I mean. I did a dump of the stock rom but it did not include the sym links and a few .so files so when i adb pushed the dump back to my phone to try to get it to boot it would boot to the htc screen then to a blank screen without adb. So if someone could make a stock flashable rom that would be nice.

Didn't you do a backup???

The instructions could use some clean up, but I did this earlier today and it worked fine.... The important things that *need* to happen is 1) Unlock Bootloader, 2) Install TWRP, 3) Install Superuser Zip. Which part did you have trouble with that failed?
Of course, root doesn't help a heck of a lot since we can't remove the apps which was my whole reason for doing this (for someone else) and the onboard storage space is severely lacking. Looking forward to a debloated rom.
What I'm curious about is that the 510 was listed as getting a lollipop update in May/June timeframe by HTC, but with the limited amount of space, I can't see how they expect to push a huge update to it. I'm betting that 5.0 update will never come.

Try fastboot boot recovery recovery.img this will boot the recovery without actually flashing. If that doesn't work the recovery you downloaded May be at fault.
---------- Post added at 02:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:13 PM ----------
Btw the command if you named the image recovery is: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img the reason it's saying unknown partition is because it doesn't know where it's going. Thus it's fastboot flash recovery then the image name.

First make sure you have the recovery in the adb directory and renamed for something simple as recovery.img then got to fastboot devices make sure you device is recognized then
fastboot flash recovery recover.img
Hope it works

[SYS Img/Boot IMG] 8010 German JB Update XXBLK9 full System.img(rooted) and Boot.img

Here is the Official JB Update for the 8010(also works on the 8013 which I'm running it on).
It's just the system and boot images and is to be used by other devs for their roms. System is rooted with busybox
WARNING: THIS IS NOT A FLASHABLE ZIP. It's just a zip that contains the system and boot images. This is only for experienced users/devs. Sorry but I do not have the time to create a flashable zip so please do not ask.
I also did not change anything so it's 100% stock with the exception of being rooted and having busybox
if you use these images for your rom just give me credit:
I am not responsible if you mess up your device
Thanks to alirey for uploading the OTA update zip

We can just create a zip for use with CWM with this right?
Or does dd work (from cwm by adb) to put them into flash? I forget the original commands for flashing img.. flash_erase? flash_write.. aargh

If you use flash img (like how a rom flashes the boot.img) it should work. I've never tried though with a system.img
You could also dd and as long as you have root in cwm you should be able to do it via adb This should NOT be done if you are booted into android only when booted into recovery
dd if=/sdcard/system.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p9
dd if=/sdcard/boot.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p5
of course that's assuming you copy the images to the root of your sdcard otherwise replace /sdard with the path of the images
I've little experience with samsung or there nand security. But can we just not flash the kernel & system.img via fastboot?

I don't think that there is fastboot functionality on the Samsung devices (Nexus devices excluded) I'm not sure if you can run fastboot commands when in download mode or not(I never tried)

Arggh I've been waiting for this rom, thanks for sharing ! I tried to flash my n8010 to XXALI3 (german) to get OTA but it doesn't work ^^
Also, I'm familiar with Odin and CWM flash, but I have no idea how to use a .img. I found topics about it and I'm not sure, it looks pretty complicated. If someone tries to install this img on his note 10.1 please let us know =)

But even if I have to focus on my exams right now, I hate being stuck so close to the goal so : I download N8010-XXBLK9.zip and I try. Stop me if I'm wrong :
- download unyaffs (found on xda with some cygwin .dll included...absolutely don't know what it means) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112906
- download XXBLK9
- Extract XXBLK9 where I'm supposed to find system .img and boot .img ?!
- then comes the dark side : what am I supposed to do ? sorry I don't know anything about this method
( I know this is not the point in this topic but that would help )

That is exactly what I did ... but don't worry I gave up with this method, I found the JB update.zip to put on the german xxali3 I downloaded last week. And it ROCKS
For all the new bees (that's me) and lazy bums (that's me too !) : just follow this topic : EASY PEASY !!
Install the german xxali3 with odin (easy), apply THE update zip from ext sd and you'll be under XXBLK9 in few minutes

[Tools] Myth Tools for Atrix HD - Update v1.3 (Final version)

Hi guys,
Just want to inform that I will not continue to support this tool anymore since I just bought a new phone due to the requirement of my work.
Thank you all for using and supporting me in making this app.

(9th Feb 2015)
-----------------------------------------------------
WARNING: BESURE YOU ARE UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER BEFORE FLASHING/DOWNGRADING FIRMWARE!
It's nearly 11 months since the last update v1.2. Now I will introduce the new version of Myth Tools with a big improvement.
Thanks to all your comments which helps me to complete the features of Myth Tools. All feedbacks are always welcome.
Please read instruction carefully before using. Thank you.
BR,
DK

If you stucks after flashing back to stock rom from custom rom, maybe this method should help you to fix it:
Credit for skeevydude
The fix is simple. Boot into Philz, format the internal sd, set the internal sd mount point to /data/media, reboot, format it again, and done. I'm assuming you don't keep anything important on the internal sd...
The issue is multiuser support in 4.2+ roms screws with our 4.1 stock roms. 4.2+ uses /data/media/0 for the main user's "internal sd" then /data/media/1 then /data/media/2 and so on and so forth for each additional user. You don't have to format, but if you were on Carbon, only changed the mount point, flashed to stock, then later down the line you install CM or Slim, your crap from Carbon will still be there under /data/media/0 and could cause issues with the newer rom.
EDIT:
A format of /data might fix this too, but you'll still have to check and/or change the mount point. The internal sd is stored on /data.

This tool is created by The Myth Team for Motorola Atrix HD
All comments to help improving tools are always welcome!
-----------------------------------------------------------
MAIN PARTS:
1. Installer ADB/FASTBOOT/APKTOOL for AHD (Use for parts below and further modding)
2. Flashing Tools for stock firmwares (compatible with ICS/JB of AT&T, BELL and Mexico AHD;
include options for installing CWM recovery, no needs to care about editing xml any more, just put firmware into our tools and it will do for you)
3. Flashing Recovery
4. Rooting Tools (Motochopper - By Dan Rosenberg; it's combined here to bring the convinience for users after
installing stock firmwares)
5. Unlocking Bootloader Tools (Motopocalypse - By Dan Rosenberg; it's combined here with the same target as
rooting tools but it's necesary for users who want to flash other carrier's firmwares on their AHD)
6. Dowload Motorola USB Driver (Lastest driver)
7. Lockscreen Mod
8. Mod for ADBD Insecure
EXTRA PARTS:
4 Quick reboot Options
------------------------------------------------------------
HOW TO USE:
1. For the installer, just select option and it will open a new window, select Install button and it will install adb/fastboot/apktool to your windows. If your windows dont allow to install (due to UAC control), u can select installer in /tools folder and run it under administration mode. With this installer, u dont need sdk-platform anymore to use adb or fastboot. Just need to have JDK and it will run normally.
2. To flash stock firmware, you only have to download stock firmware (*.zip file) and put it in 'firmware' folder then run our tools. Follow its instructions and options to finish the flash process. Dont need to edit xml files and No more worries about failure with RSDLite. We have tested all firmwares of AHD (ICS 4.0.4, JB 4.1.1, 4.1.2 of Bell, AT&T, Mexico Retail) with our tools and they worked.
3. Option allows users to install cwm recovery or custom recovery (it's up to users). To flash custom recovery, you can place recovery image (*.img) to 'recovery folder and run the tools.
4,5. This is popular and famous tools by Dan Rosenberg. I think I dont need to explain again
6. This is link for Driver on Motorola site. Just in case you miss it or need to install again.
7. It provides a various theme for lockscreen of stock firmware by modding framework
8. It will mod automatically the boot.img to allow the true adb root with adb command (eg. "adb remount" to full read-write system..). It mainly is useful for stock firmware while custom rom always has.

[ROM][T211][4.4.2]Zephyr Tab v4,Rooted,Debloated,Odexed, NJ3 TW Rom

Simple, Stable, Smooth...
I am not a developer, I have learnt (and am still learning) many things from the immensely talented developers on this Forum.
This Rom has been created with the thought that there are many people who wish to continue with Samsung Stock Rom to give them a hassle-free use of their Smartphone, yet they need their Rom to be bloatfree, efficient and Smooth.
This ROM is rooted and odexed for my daily use. Will try to keep the version updated as and when a new stock firmware (with higher/better changelog) is released for the Galaxy Tab 3 (T211) version.
Please do not expect me to customise this ROM any more than what it is. As I said I am not a Developer. Thanks for Understanding.
Only for T211

after installing this ROM (4.4.2) it is still possible to come back to a Jelly Bean ROM (4.1.2)?

Backup your existing rom. Try this one. I don't think you will go back to JB. And I see no reason why you can't go back to JB either. Worst case scenario you will have to flash stock firmware using odin. I have not tried going back and am still waiting for feedback from you guys.

I can confirm that, it is VERY buggy.
After you start the tablet, wait for a couple of sec, you'd be greeted by nothing but a black screen.
You could tap the power on button twice to get it to work, but you'd only see the status bar, nothing else.
Sometimes tapping the back button and menu button randomly could get the Samsung setup wizard out, but even the wizard appears to be buggy.
First being during the Wi-Fi setup, when you're prompted to type in the Wi-Fi password, the keyboard would pop-up for a brief second and then go off again, making it impossible to type in anything.
Second is even if you skip all those, alright, the system appears to be working, the system, mobile data, yeah, those are fine.
However, the glitchiness continues, the power menu sometimes appears to be invisible, some of the pop-up option menu appears to be invisible, installing a third-party keyboard the UI element does not work properly either.
Also, the tablet hung up after installing some APKs through ADB, the status bar became distorted, I suspect that to be a system UI issue too.
All in all, all the rendered UI element appears to be buggy. That's the only thing that needs to be fixed.
All in all..waiting for a bugless rom..thank you for the efforts..all the best for your future projects

Well, since XDA is being a douche and not letting all people to reply on dev board, I can only report the bug here.
To me, the ROM was completely unusable, some UI elements aren't being rendered correctly.
For instance, keyboards aren't showing, sometimes the power menu won't show up, some option menus won't show up.
Most issues are related to the UI.

Okay wow, you're really stubborn, here's a pic to prove it, why the heck would I want to lie about this?

And what do you mean "getting old"?
Everyone's device is the same, you know I wouldn't be mad if your statement was a little less ridiculous, say regional differences, obviously that still wouldn't be the case but it's a lot less ridiculous than "getting old".
FYI, my tab's mobo was replaced about a month ago.

Hi Frago, after all this mess i managed to get your XplayZtation Rom to work and it works well, aurora rom wont get pass trough initial setup as pretty much all apps are crashing and I can't get pass through android first setup process. I have no idea why at first i couldt either; not get supersu working after unlock bootloader and installing twrp recovery, also couldnt wipe data without errors as i wrote you couple hours before. Actually this afternoon i got in a bootloop after 2nd try flashing Aurora rom, managed to enter twrp recovery turned off device, after turning it on again all data were wiped and i could perform a full wipe, then flashing your rom worked perfectly fine. Can i flash androplus kernel or is your kernel more efficient?

Actually this afternoon i got in a bootloop after 2nd try flashing Aurora rom, managed to enter twrp recovery turned off device, after turning it on again all data were wiped and i could perform a full wipe, then flashing your rom worked perfectly fine.
-should i flash androplus kernel or is your kernel more efficient?

- was my problem caused by the fact i tri d to flash the roms from internal memory? I'm experienced with nexus 6p and op2 but have no experience with micro sd extention devices. Could give me your feedback about that?
-Also, how would you suggest to go back to Sony Stock rom if needed?

Hi Frago, really thankful for your answers
1. I'll try to go back to stock using Sony flash tool when they will confirm my account on Emma.
2. I'll flash andro kernel but can i flash it now that your rom has been installed already?
3. I'll send you feedback about your Rom, I'm so excited I don't have to stick with sony bloatware...
4. By reading there could be problems with sd stored apps and stuff on marshmallow i thought maybe sd card mounted flashing could be an issue...
Take care
