fake signature Sprint! - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello T-mobilers. We, Sprinters, have very small community when it comes here in XDA Website and that's why I need help from you guys
Now, let me hit my question.
Sprint sent me a contract peppers which they said it is for a device that you already got few months ago. So technically I haven't gotten any copy of this contract before. I have'nt signed it either. The date of the contract is 10/03/2014 but they sent to me on 12/05/2014.
The contract says that I got a lease of a device which is an Iphone 6 plus on 10/03/2014 at sprint corporate store, but the funny part is that I didn't sign the agreement and my signature is not there because I never been at the store on that day! But wait, I got another contract agreement yesterday but this one has a signature on it! This is not my signature, they just typed my name in the signature place using computer.
Normally if I want to lease a deviceat the store, I have to literally sign the original document using electronic pen and drawing or writing in a small display. But this new agreement which I received yesterday is completely misleading, in fact it's a fraud. They just typed my first name in there!
So what do you guys think about this issue. Should I sue sprint? Should I just call manager or supervisor about the issue?. Or what other steps I should take? Have you ever had this kind of experience from your companies?
Can sprint sign on behalf of me? is this is a fraud? Thanks a lot guys.

I don't think there is any reason to sue them ( yet at least ). It looks like your identity may have be compromised and someone leased phone using your name. Contact store, explain situation and depends on their actions ( if they remove that contract from your name quickly or not ) contact police and report the crime. Without your signature is not a valid contract.

THanks sir. I think the corporate store is the one who did this. No one else for sure. And as you mentioned I won't sue them but I'm curious about the reason they put me on a contract which I've never signed it.

Lol really??

Paypal SUCKS

Ok guys so I sold a few things at the end of last week, was able to take payments fine. Yesterday I tried to transfer the cash to my checking account and it went fine. So I wake up this morning and am on my way to get to the post office to ship everything off and I decide just to check paypal for some reason. Amazingly I see that paypal has reversed my withdraw and permanently suspended my acount. So after 3 calls I was able to get everyone's money back to them.
What I want to know is what is the best way to accept payment NOT paypal? Both Amazon payments and google checkout say that the first payment can take between 2 weeks and 60 days. And I don't want to wait that long obviously so what are the other options?
That really sucks. Did they give you a reason for locking the account?

It may be from a lot of activity on your account. They locked my account once and I called and they said in the last 3 days I had did over $1,000 transfers and that was fishy/questionable....so they just lifted the hold and I have been good ever since than.
Do you have a personal account on paypal or a business account. I think that makes somewhat of a difference.
Also I think a lot of people have been successful with bank transfers.

just get started on your first amazon payments transaction. after that it'll be quicker.
Even if you find a better way, in a month or 2 you'll at least have a backup option.
Paypal and ebay are starting to piss me off too. Thinking about quitting ebay altogether.
I have a pp business acct (not sure how, but i do) and haven't had an issue like this.

It was definitely over $1000 but they gave me no option to explain anything they said my account activity was suspicious and therefor closed my account.
And about bank transfers, might as well be Western Union. Who on here is really going to do that?

I figured it was.... that happened to me about 2 months ago but I just logged in and they had a hold on my funds so I called and spoke to a supervisor and he said it was suspicious activity and I said I had money coming from reimbursements blah blah blah and they lifted it and said make sure u have a note when u do such transactions.
Bank transactions are sorta like Western union. I only seen one transaction done with that. The closest Western union to me is a hr away.

I'm surprised they didn't give you a call. I too had done over $1000 in transactions in a matter of days. A representative called me to see what was up and I explained to them what was going on. Didn't suspend my account.

Just go to serve.com and check it out.

Who got a free nexus 7 by canceling

This thread is for people who ordered from the play store and have recieved their orders but cancelled and did not get charged. Do we have any lucky buggers that have managed to net one free because the way google are handling things i wouldnt be suprised if a few hundred slip through their pathetic delivery tracking system.
I doubt that will happen.
Sent from my GT-N7000
I would not be surprised if those people get an invoice and return shipping label in the mail. And then have to choose return or pay. Let alone if it was cancelled and the purchase does not say cancelled in Play store then technically Google covered the terms of the sale and could charge the credit card on file since they could show delivery of said product. Plus in its term of sale it states the cancellation period.
This thread will just bait people to debate. Seems trollish.

Is that for UK only? Also, isn't it somewhat solicited since one had ordered it and attempted to cancel after the specified cancellation period?

Correct, you are not a lawyer.
The "unsolicited goods" laws in some countries (USA for example, which is handled by the FTC) is explicitly written to cover receiving unordered products. It is not for "haha! you sent me something after I cancelled my order so I get to keep it for free!" type scenarios.
So, for example, if you signed up for a free product and they sent you something more with a bill/invoice. Or if you never ordered anything to begin with, but they sent you something and wanted you to pay for it. Or if you receive something (again, not ordered) and it was due to an honest shipping mistake*.
To the latter, you are still supposed to contact the merchant to let them know of the mistake, and give them an opportunity to correct it at zero cost to you (ie: paying for return shipping) within a reasonable amount of time. You can also make it clear that if they don't contact you about it within that time, you will dispose of the product in any manner you see fit.
While this part of it might be a stretch, it could possibly apply here. So if you did actually get an N7 by mistake after cancelling your order, and want to keep it with little risk, I would suggest sending a certified letter to Google with the content above. If they respond back saying to send it to them using a prepaid shipping method, you should do so. Otherwise, while it wouldn't be considered "fraud" since it was their mistake, it could be considered theft of goods, since you did in fact order the product, they still sent it to you due to an honest mistake, they later tried to get it corrected, and you refused.
Or, you could just stay quiet and hope they don't contact you about it - if you are so inclined.
But in the end, if they do contact you to return the merchandise, I would recommend doing so.
On the invoice I received with my order, it had the device's serial number. They knew the device's serial number too, when I rang up and started the RMA process. Google know where each device has been shipped to, so I doubt very much that they'll do nothing and let people keep free tablets. Also, as stated on the support pages, they can remotely disable devices.
I can't wait to fast forward a couple of months, and the "Google just charged my credit card for a tablet I didn't return " threads start.

How Google gave me a FREE Nexus 7

This is sooo cool I had to share it with u guys.
So I was one of the first ones to per order the nexus 7
When I did it charged my card but the payment did not go through because it said there was something wrong with my card (I've use this card to make all of my google payments so it was kind of odd)
I remove and re added the card and that seemed to fix it.
on the 11th it'd attempted to charge my card but it didn't go through.
A few days latter I called customer service and they told me to remove and re add the card again but that didn't helped so after an hour with customer service the guy told me to just go to a store and buy it there and they will still give me the 25 dollar gift card.
I went the next day and as soon as I come on out of the store I received an email from google letting me know that my order has been shipped, I was really mad because I would be charged again so I called customer service and they told me to just denied the package when it arrives, 10 minutes later after talking to customer service I received an email that said my order was canceled because my card could'nt be charged (I'm sure I had enough funds).
the next day I wake up AND IT WAS THERE, A BRAND NEW NEXUS 7
I quickly check my bank statement and I was never even charged so I was thinking there something wrong with their ordering system

Completely inaccurate title. Google did not "give" you a free Nexus7. They accidentally shipped you one without charging you first.
What YOU chose to do now is up to you, but bragging about it on XDA seems to be a bit stupid. Either keep it and hope they don't send you a bill, or contact them and offer to pay for it or have them ship it back.
Screw that, keep the nexus! If you found a $20 bill on the ground in a mall, what would you do with it? Probably keep it. Right?

[Q] Not being charged EIP?

Ordered my note 4 about 2 weeks after it's release. I've just gotten what I think is my 5th, at least the 4th, bill. I've yet to be charged an EIP payment. It even says there is no EIP on the account. Is it possible TMO screwed up and gave me a free phone? I know I've had plenty of screwups with them before, just never on the positive side for me. Anyone else ever have an issue like this? I don't want to bring it to their attention if they don't know, that's be dumb. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Wow, this is an interesting one. I work at tmobile. I can tell you that you would have signed an EIP agreement when you purchased the phone if you got it in store. This agreement would show how many payments you are making over the next 24 months for the phone. If you never got one of those, and you have a receipt for the full price of the phone, i think you should take the money and run haha, that sounds like a free phone. If you wish for someone to check the account without charging you for the mistake - I can give it a little overview when I get in today at 1pm PST - you'll have to PM me tho, these are private matters and I still need to follow the rules haha.

Haven't been on in a while but wanted to come back and say this is now my 7TH bill! No EIP payment anywhere. What the hell do I do? I wonder if it has anything to do with me being a customer back when phones were subsidized still? Just very strange and don't want to bring it to their attention if I don't have to, they've screwed me before so...
BTW, I didn't pay full price only the taxes when I ordered online, I believe I electronically signed an EIP but no receipt for full payment obviously though. It does show on the TMO website as being available for use with them, which, it obviously already is.

It says in billing I have no EIP on this account. Maybe I'll pick up the Gear S just to see what they say about the EIP and to play with it for a few days. Hmm..
I think the same thing just happened to me. I Pre-Ordered the Galaxy S7 Edge on T-Mobile, and it arrived on February 29th. I have now received my 2nd bill and they still haven't charged me for the phone, and the account doesn't list an active EIP on my line.
If I went to the phone section to try an upgrade it said "You are a Jump Customer. You are ineligible to jump because you have no Active Equipment Installment Plan" Since they said I couldn't jump I proceeded to take Jump off of my line and the next day when I go to the same page, there is a large "Upgrade" button next to the picture of the S7. Is that basically a confirmation that I own this phone and T-Mobile screwed the pooch?
