Device isn't not compatible with this version - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S6

I've been seeing this a LOT lately with apps I link to our look for in the Play Store. Is our device really that incompatible? Is it Samsung or Lollipop to blame?

I've been getting this all of a sudden lately as well. What the heck?

I actually had that issue as well. About two weeks ago I did a fresh install with all the tar files and I haven't had that issue again. I assumed it was AT&T blocking the apps.

[Q] [Sprint] Better Than Life EF17 ROM, Missing Market Apps/Movies

So a few days ago, I flashed the Larger Than Life EF17 ROM that recently came out. I loved having a rooted Tab with Froyo so i jumped when i saw it in Gingerbread.
I am having one annoying problem though. I am unable to find a few apps on the Anidroid Market that were there on stock Gingerbread. The main two i can think of are Netflix and Documents2Go. I purchased the activating/key program for D2G and can find that but no luck on the main app.
I dont absolutely need Netflix but D2G is my favorite office app and use it nearly daily.
The other oddity is that in the latest market, it shows Books for purchase but i dont see a single movie to rent. The entire movie section is missing from the market.
I understand this is likely causes by the device fingerprint but i dont know what to change it to.
Does anyone have any ideas on what i could do to get back the apps i had in stock EF17? I would have replied to the ROM thread in the Development forum but i havent posted enough on the xda forums to do so.
There are ways to fix the symptoms very easily, but it won't fix the problem you're describing. I've got a netflix apk I can post that should work(don't have d2g). But like I said, won't make apps come up in the market.

i've got the same issue, and cannot update my system apps in the market (says I am up to date, even though I am not).
i keep just pulling them down off my phone and emailing them to myself, but that gets old

[Q] How to re-link my purchased APPs to ANDROID Market

I recently un-rooted my DROID BIONIC for when a replacement was necessary.
While rooted I had to re-run a STOCK Script/Utility to restore my connectivity issue with my BIONIC LAPDOCK ( ie I HAD no connectivity Webtop was blown away ).
That remedy restored WebTop capability to the LapDock, but now my ANDROID Market lists nothing when I select " My APPS " . If i search for them individually it acknowledges that I paid for them, but the list is <NULL> itself .
Do I have to re-root to re-link to the Market and if so, what do I run ?
Thanks in Advance !
I love my BIONIC ( even though I replaced 3 of them in 2 months ) When they work they work great !
Just download one of the paid apps, and download a free one. Your market should fix itself
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda premium
This happened to me recently too and App Manager in the Rom Toolbox did the trick. It makes it possible to link to the market or break that link (root required).
Thanks for your input(s) .
ROM Toolbox Pro is one of my paid apps .Who knows, Its is likely that I severed the link(s) by my own hand ( and a heavy thumb ! ) by accident with that very tool . I will re-root and try that . I guess I have to manually search and download them individually before I can get the complete list back in MARKET . ( if I can remember ALL the APPS I paid for )
Thanks again !
There are a lot of threads all over the web about My Apps area being empty. It is across all phone platforms. It doesn't seem to strike too many and it seems to be a Google issue.
Good luck.

Titanium Backup has a boss market doctor.

My market has been broken, even before I rooted, or changed from the stock ROM. Google said they were looking into it for the Bionic, as of now I have the latest market but it still failed to link. My theory is I update my apps before the market updates and after it has, that's when it brakes. Still no update from google on a fix. But with the new update from moto will try to let the market update first before downloading my paid apps maybe this time it won't break

This is actually what started it all for me. I used the Market Doctor accidentally and right after My Apps was empty. And it's only this account. I have four other Google accounts and the system apps show up just fine in those. It's only in my primary that I have an empty app page. I have tried the clear cache and force stop server method only to see my paid apps for a moment then it goes right back to nothing.
And I found myself a solution. While titanium backup wouldn't work to fix my issue it wild seem ROM toolbox has. Just install it (you have to buy it as the free version wont allow you to use the market fix) and select all apps in the market fixer. Run market fix and restart your phone. It may or may not work for you but its worth a shot. Good luck.

I switched to Eclipse v1.2RC1 from 1.1.1 and My Apps came back on its own.
I reinstalled and relinked with ROM Toolbox and made a Titanium ZIP file for good measure. Hopefully future "stable" releases will still have that functionality as I am liking the Eclipse "flavored" series very much
Even though technology will leapfrog I hope my BIONIC will serve me 'til my Verizon 2 year commitment extinguishs.
With the killer ROM devs that appear here on XDA I don't think I need worry !
Missing apps are a google issue
I have two bionics, a nook color rooted with CM7 and a Logitech Revue. I have had each of these devices with various ROMS, and various versions of Market/vending.apk. The earlier version of vending.apk will show my apps, however as soon as the phone updates itself to the latest vending.apk, the apps dissappear, redownloading them does not help. Also I have two other accounts linked to my Bionic, they show "some" of the downloaded apps. There has been no rhyme or reason. The other thing to not is when you try to search for my apps on earlier builds of vending.apk, it gives a server error, like if the servers have been changed since those versions.
What irritates me is that my kindle fire shows the apps on my account just fine. Just not on my bionic. By the way us everybody else running 3.4.4?

Not a single one of them shows up. Not even system apps. When I freeze the google framework they show up for a minute or two then are gone again. I had it working for a little while then bricked and had to redo everything. Unfortunately I lost it all.

Try clearing market data, then switch to a different account if you have one. Wait a few minutes then switch back.

I've had this problem since I bought the bionic in October. Never worked, ever. Tablet works OK. Even stopped working on my other phones. Went to google support and discovered it was a market bug, but no resolution. Two weeks ago...I factory reset my bionic for some reason and it worked. Just to confirm, did it again the next day. It worked again. And to be sure, I did it again before writing this.....so it suddenly started working after a factory reset...
Who knows....

So I haven't quit looking into what actually causes the market "My Apps" issue. While I do feel it truly is the database I have a slightly more detailed theory as to why it does it. However in order to test this theory I need to take a general poll.
How many of you discovered this issue after using some sort of Root tool (ie: Rom Toolbox, Root Tools, Titanium Backup)?
How many of you have accidentally or on purpose used the Market Fix that supplement these programs?
The reason I'm asking is semi obvious I suppose. While these programs can do great good it would appear that if not done correctly they can also do bad. Last night I decided to play with it a bit more and I Linked ALL system apps and user apps to the market. After a few minutes or a reboot I would get the error again. So I went ahead and broke all links again, deleted the .dbs file and started all over again. This time only doing system apps and user apps that I knew were updatable. This lead to the market functioning much better. However I'm not finished yet. I want to figure out what apps and programs trigger this. At this point in time most User apps are okay but I have found I have linked considerably less system apps to the market. What I would like to ideally do is narrow the list down to just a few apps that shouldn't be linked.
Also if anybody would be so kind as to copy and share their database file that would help tremendously. This file needs to be completely stock having NEVER used any of these programs to edit the market links. Sharing this could potentially help all Android users having this extremely annoying issue. If you would like to keep the amount of users who this down to just me you can PM me or even send it to me over Skype or some other messenger with a file share tool. Thank you all in advance.
For those of you currently having the issue I have posted a fix here: http://rootzwiki.com...market-my-apps/

[Q] How to install Grand Theft Auto III on Note?

I should have bought GTAIII a couple of days ago when it was first released. I've read that it ROCKS on the Note! Now it says it's not compatible on the Note which is bull$hit since people who first bought it are running it.
Is there any way to bypass the device restriction limits in Market???

there are like 4 different versions of gta 3 on the market.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/1...ft-auto-gta-iii-is-now-in-the-android-market/
theyre all listed on that page. use your phone, aim it at the qr codes until you find one that you can download. theyre all multilanguage versions, even the jap and ger versions.
I got it by buying it from market.android.com rather than the market on the phone.

Howdy all,
I have been playing GTA 3 on my Galaxy Note for the last few months, and I think it is fantastic. I remember playing it on the PC when it was first released and I loved it then. However, I found it very hard to complete back then, in my youth. But now, on the Galaxy Note, I have completed all of the main missions and some of the side missions. However, I am curious about the rampage missions which seem to be missing from this game. I am running v1.3 with "full loaded" effects but none of the rampages are available on any of the islands, and there is no indication in the stats that there any rampages. So, has anyone else seen or completed the rampages? I vaguely remember completing the triad rampage when I had one of the previous releases (v1.0 I think). So it must have been there at some point.
Also, did anyone else notice that certain "things" changed between v1.0 and v1.3? For example, when you killed someone you could pick up money from them? Also, I vaguely recall that you could still beat someone up with the baseball bat when they were on the floor, but in v1.3 you cannot.

Netflix stopped working

Wife and I have rooted NCs running 1.2 Froyo. Netflix stopped working after latest update to 1.7. Won't start and just gets stuck on first screen with wheel turning. Changing build.prop to HTC Vision doesn't work as was required for some prior versions last year.
Anyone else notice this?

I was having endless Netflix issues (CM7) and updates that wouldn't work from the Android Market; Then I noticed that Netflix was available on the Amazon market, unistalled, then got the free app from Amazon, and all's been well ever since. Maybe it will work for you?

I'm using Froyo, not CM7. Tried the Amazon install but that didn't work. Tried changing build.prop--no go. Might have to go with CM7 but everything else is working perfectly and I'm hesitant to switch ROMs.
I just ran into this issue today and had to roll back to a previous installation (1.7.0 from 2/12/12)

All Gameloft games crashing on launch!

Hi guys,
I have a really frustrating issue. I have regularly played both Order and Chaos and Dungeon Hunter 5 regularly for months with NO issues at all. Suddenly, without any modification of my system, each time I click on any Gameloft game to launch it, I instantly get a force close message, and the game doesn't even make it to the loading screen - it doesn't even get the chance to reach the black screen! (Log files linked to post.)
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared caches and data, even manually deleted the Gameloft folder entirely. Nothing works. I have also contacted Gameloft support team, who have been absolutely useless, so I am begging for any ideas.
*EDIT: I added a link to my log files for attempted launches of Dungeon Hunter 5. https://goo.gl/gc07GR

Thanks for your response. I actually checked with Gameloft support before I posted here and they assured me that my account was active and in good standing. I could see that being the problem if the game actually attempted to launch, but it doesn't get that far. When I click on the icon for the game, nothing happens: I immediately get a force close popup, but there is no evidence of the game launching whatsoever. It never even reaches the opening black screen with the Gameloft "G" logo, much less the login screen.
Any other ideas, anyone? If not, can anyone recommend an appropriate location in which this question could be cross-posted? Thanks in advance!

I would try booting into recovery and clearing cache first.. then if that doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall
My guess is you took the update to 5.1.1 and there are residual data issues

I appreciate your response, painful or not! I will try that and if the thread is still open, I'll report my results.
I know very little about the cause of the issues, but I do know it *can* occur for all models and versions of Android on ICS or above. It doesn't seem to be directly related to any specific set of circumstances. Oddly, my husband had a brand new, just out of the box, stock HTC One M9 with ONLY Dungeon Hunter 5, and he had the same issue. It still isn't fixed on his end either, alas.
**NOTE: I just saw on Gameloft support that this is listed as a known issue as of today.

I am on a Laptop with WIndows 10, I have the game City Mania, and yesterday it simply froze than shut the game down. No warning messages and no chance indication what is wrong. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. That did not change it. I did a recovery to an earlier date, that too did no good. Now the Blue Screen with the Big G on it will open up, but than it suddenly crashes and shuts down. It refuses to open at all. I am now having that same problem with Candy Crush, Bubble Witch, and other games. I can still play solitaire. Mahjong, and Simple Solitaire but not any other games. I am at my wits end on what to do to fix it.
Seem this problem is come to me too, Im own many of Gameloft Paymium (from 2012-2013) and went i want to replay some of it in this year on my beloved Xperia PLAY (Orange color that i just got it this year) half the game shown "This is not orginal copy of [game title]" and other just force close after Gameloft logo and first loading screen. Is it because of the day of the game license died or im not put my simcard? Even i tried flash a firmware r800a version that i use to run game first time also did not work.
If some of you guys can highlight to me something.
