Enabling writing to external memory card without root - T-Mobile LG G4

This may not apply to all apps, but you have to look at permission in the settings -> installed applications.
If you see "Write to SD" permission, you can enable this function.
Explorer/Root Explorer: you have to copy a file to memory card, or delete a file there. When you attempt to do it, you will be prompted to "open file" screen.

Touch options on the top right and choose "show SD card".
Touch menu on the top left again and you will see internal memory and SD card and select SD card.
Choose any folder you want, or simply touch "select SD card".
After that, the application has read/write access on memory card.

Problems With SD Card Trash [Mac]

Yep, I'm on a mac. I've been having a lot of problems with SD Card space, even though only half of my 4Gb should be used. Whenever I look at it in Astro, I see ._name files for most every file I have had on there, including all of the ones I have removed. I tried to backup today, and got an SD Card full error, loaded it up in WhatSize and got this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So, I have 2Gb of deleted files in a .Trashes folder. WTF? I get an error when I try to delete the folder or open it in Finder. I thought that temp trash should be deleted when I Eject? I always safely eject, instead of just pulling it out.
TL;DR: Contents of SD card total 2.01Gb, shown on disc as 3.69Gb. The extra data is in .Trashes, and I can't figure out how to clean it. Halp?
Backup and format?

[Q] Can We Do Something Like This

I wanna install a few apps (GPS for example) on the internal memory since i still have plenty of space left

Go to Manage Application in Setting you will see a list of loaded programs. Choose the apk and the program will let you know if you can move it to the sdcard.
By default, all your apps and games are installed there (phone memory) but the data is what some apps and most games save in your sd card..
You can go to Settings > Apps and click on the app you want to have on your phone and see if the option "Move to SD card" is greyed out or not
This way you'll know which apps are stored in your phone memory and which are not..

[Q] Galaxy tab-can't access internal memory

Ok, I picked up a used Galaxy tab and rooted it, I then installed
cm-10-20130811-NIGHTLY-p1c.zip
Tab works well but I have a problem with the internal sdcard. I have a 16G external card and can access it via usb in cwm but nowhere can i see the internal card. When I go to storage in the system setup it displays the system portion of the internal card where the apps are installed and the rest of the internal card contents flash in the screen for a couple of seconds then go away replaced by the external card. It appears that CM is installed on the internal card but I can't access it. As I said the tab works well with cm10 but I'm losing ~10g of storage
I can only access the external card via recovery (CWM 6.xx) no internal card available to mount.

Can Google Music save music onto the SD card?

Is it possible to save music which is downloaded via google music onto the micro sd card?
I dont know for sure, I know that Google Music can download music for offline play, but I have never seen an area to select where it saves. My guess though would be that you can use an app like App2sd that could symlink things and move the folder location to the SD card so it downloads there but the OS still thinks everything is on internal storage and is none the wiser.
Yes you can save downloaded music straight to SD card:

More information.
You can try to format the memory card in the phone first
You can try *#*#7378423#*#* > Service test > Storage, to know your sd card status.
Also you can insert another sd card to test that is the device problem or not.
