Axon Pro NFC issue, unable to connect with any NFC audio devices - ZTE Axon Pro

I have just purchased my ZTE Axon pro 64GB model from ZTEUSA, as a part of their Cyber Monday Offer ($100 off the price, $349). However, when the device is able to connect with any other NFC enabled phones and tablets (my Nexus 9, Xperia Z1 and Oneplus One) and transfer data, information etc, it is not able to connect with any NFC enabled Bluetooth audio devices. When I am touching the phone over the Audio devices' NFC spot, I did hear the Bip sound in Axon for NFC detection and after that nothing is happening, and looks like it is getting disconnected instantly.
I tried with Creative Soundblaster Roar 2, Altec Lansing iMW855-BLK XL speakers and Velodyne vBold Headphone without any success. However, all those devices are working with my other devices like Z1 and Oneplus One. I can connect them with Axon pro using standard Bluetooth pairing without any issues but not with NFC.
Another thing, I do own Panasonic ZS40 NFC enabled camera and tried Axon pro to connect with it using NFC and it did not work. Looks like the NFC in Axon pro is only working with other Android devices. Any idea bout that or any known bug? If not, I am planning to return it and get either a refund or a replacement.

Thanks for not replying . I think I have resolved the issue. I think Axon pro does not have any internal apps for connecting to non Android NFC devices. So I just installed NFC Tap & Pair from Playstore and after that, it is able to connect to all my NFC enabled portable Audio and headphone devices.

Nokia MD-310 Bluetooth Receiver issue

Hi!
I'm loving my new Z3 Compact but ran into first annoying issue. I've been using Nokia Wireless Receiver to stream audio via bluetooth to my amplifier. It has worked well with my previous phones, iPad Air and also my wife's Galaxy S4 Black Edition that has KitKat installed.
With Z3 it connects and phone shows aptX device connected. Audio starts playing but cuts off and back constantly, almost like it loses connection every half a second or so. Tested Spotify and Radio FM to make sure it's not an app issue, same thing happens with both. I also got JBL Flip 2 speaker and bluetooth audio is crystal clear with that, no issues at all.
I'm a bit baffled because it doesn't seem to be an Android issue (Galaxy S4 working well), not an app issue and also bluetooth audio from Z3 works with other devices. Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi. it seems like you and me are having the same problem except I have a z2. Previously I had a Xperia sp and that works fine with the Nokia receiver which leads me to believe it has something to do with aptX as my z2 works OK with other non aptX devices aswell.
Did you ever find a solution to your problem? I found that if you turn WiFi off it helps a little, but is still un-listanable to my ears

USB-C to 3.5mm jack problem

Hello, I got my P20 Pro 2 days ago. So, here's my problem. I got a pair of HyperX Cloud II and I want to use them with the phone. When I plug them with the included dongle, the headset icon shows for a second then disappears from the notifications bar. I should mention the fact that I can use the included earphones and some other casual earphones. The interesting fact is that I can use my Cloud II headset without any problem(other than the fact that the volume is quite low) on my mate's Xiaomi Mi 6 with the same dongle. What do you think, is there anything I can do about it, or should I go wireless once and for all?
go wireless if you have the budget, for me i still prefer wired due to i'm too lazy to charge it, i've used the dongle with my MI in-ear pro, and so far it works as intended
I found the headset wasn't always detected and I had to add a setting in developer settings
I have 'Disable USB Audio Routing' set to off and 'Always prompt when connecting to USB' set to off.

Turns out you can use this headset with the phone, but only if you plug in the microphone, and that's a huge problem for me, as I used to casually wear them wherever I'd go. Since I bought the phone, I have switched to some in-ear headphones and I learned to live with this.
Will it be the same with all adapters?

Think other adapters will work with the hx cloud (no mic)?
Cheers
Solution
Hello everybody
I have the same problem with my hyperX cloud 2. To make it works you only have to plug the microphone in headset and after that plug it in the phone.
If you plug out the mic, headset will not be recognized again.
Hope it will be helpful for you. Cya

I have tried with adapters from: Mi 6, Pixel 2, U11. It has to do with the OS, as a matter of fact, they worked just fine without the mic plugged in for the other phones.
Clarification

But without the mic, with the other (not stock huawei) adapters plugged in to the p20 pro, it still didn't work?
Just making sure it's not the adapter.
Thanks

Nope, the P20 Pro wouldn't detect the headset.
P20 Pro does not detect my headset or dongle
I have this problem and until now I cant find a solution. Phone is charging with any charger though and it just happened all of a sudden. I already tried doing a hard reset but no good. I am using the Europe version. Single Sim GPU Turbo updated.
Can confirm plugging the mic into the headset solves the issue.
Same headset here. If you don't want to use them whit the mic in, use Lesser Audioswitch app. You can choose the audio output source with the app.
Work for me.
Also, don't forget to manually switch back to speaker after you unplug your headset.
Has anybody discovered a fix for this yet where you don't have to plug in the mic? I just got a P20 pro and it is disappointing that I am unable to use my headset with it.
HUawei P20 Pro not able to detect headphones?
I've been using Apple headphones connected to the Huawei USB-C adapter on my Huawei P20 Pro....it was working fine for at least 5 months.
But last week when I plug in my headphones the icon shows up for a second, then disconnects in a few seconds. Now it's a consistent problem.
Has this happened to any of you? I don't know if it's the adapter or my phone...
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
Hello enable dev options / tap 5x in About phone-Built number
Than in dev options enable Always prompt when connecting to USB.
Hope this helps I got mine working

Issues with multiple bluetooth devices?

I use Remote Phone (https://justremotephone.com) for handeling calls at work. Remote Phone uses bluetooth handsfree profile for the purpose of controlling my phone from the laptop.
When my phone is connected to my laptop with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it can only connect to my BT headset using Input device and Contact sharing.
When my phone is connected to my BT headset or a BT-speaker with handsfree-support (e.g. my car) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, my smartwatch (Gear S3) looses Phone audio (or disconnects).
When my phone is connected to my smartwatch (Gear S3) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it often fails to register and automatically connect to other known devices.
It would seem that the N8 Sirocco can not connect to multiple devices using Phone audio profile.
I have sendt an e-mail to Nokia support addressing this issue, and will post the answer here.
I'm still on Android 8.0.0, and hopefully this is a SW-problem that is corrected in 8.1.
I'm guessing there is not so many N8 Sirocco owners out there yet, but of the few that is out there, has anyone else experienced similar BT handling issues?
This might not be a problem with the N8 Sirocco, but a problem with BT handling on the Gear S3.....
i have a major BT connection issues with my GEAR s3. It doesnt pair at all. the process gets stuck on the galaxy and stars moving around and saying setting up your device. Any help on how to connect my gear s3?
solution?

Hi MrMastodon. Did you solve the topic? As I have similar issue with Nokia 8 and car BT device + GPS BT tethering...
I completely forgot to follow up, it turns out that the Galaxy Gear is known for causing exceptionally bad Bluetooth-performance when paired with non Samsung devices.. I sold it.

Question Bluetooth not pairing with Corsair RGB Virtuoso XT

Recently purchased.
Zenfone 8 specs: "Bluetooth® 5.2 (EDR + A2DP), supports LDAC, Qualcomm® aptX™, aptX™ HD, aptX™ Adaptive, AAC"
Corsair Virtuoso XT specs: "Bluetooth 5.0 and supports the default SBC codec, as well as AAC, aptX, and aptX HD".
Headphones pairing as expected with previous phone (Huawei Mate 20) showing in phone "aptX HD", so headphones are ok.
Zenfone 8 pairing as expected with my car's bluetooth, so Zenfone 8 bluetooth is "working".
Tried with android 11 > developer mode > all possible combinations with parameters AVRCP & MAP bluetooth version.
No tried again after updating to Android 12.
Any clue?
Any of you having same issue?
Thnx and Cya

There can be compatibility issues with devices, apparently. My Zenphone8 will find and pair with a new Lenovo P11 tablet, but will drop the connection after 2 or 3 seconds. All resets and setting changes do not work, although no bluetooth issues with other devices. The Lenovo service people say it's a compatibility issue - so back the tablet goes, I need the hotspot, and I like this phone.
Previously I've had the same problem with a Sony phone and a Huawei tablet, where the Huawei service also told me "compatibility problem".
So it seems that some devices just won't talk to each other. It's possible you have a similar problem?

Question Use LDAC and Dual Audio

Hey there,
so I've ordered the Sony WH-1000xm4 and Linkbuds S, both with LDAC, but no aptX support.
To not be trapped in bad functioning SBC/AAC I want to activate LDAC to listen to my .flacs and co.
Heard I have to go for customROM to do so, as I do have Android 12, but Xiaomi does not support LDAC.
Also, Dual Sound, which means I can play one song on those two headphones simultaneously from one device
is supported by Samsung software wise, which means a customROM should also be able to do so I guess.
Xiaomi launched something similar a year back, but just for 1-2 flagships and you can connect at the same time,
but not play music at the same time with the headphones. (Both of mine have multipoint btw.)
Do you know of a customROM that matches both wishes?
Thaaanks
+1, after a long research i have no solution ford Dual Sound or dual Audio. Any mods or custom ROM to do that?
