I'm pleased to announce the CM 13 ROM for the Redmi 2... This ROM is almost pure CyanogenMod 13, with a few minor tweaks/additions. This ROM is about as stable as it gets, and is at the point where it's perfect for use as a daily driver.
CyanogenMod is continuing to update their CM13 sources (usually several times a day), and as they do, there will undoubtedly be additional features added, bringing it up to speed with what's available in CM12.1. In the meantime, however, I've included a few of my personal favorite mods/extra settings, and will be adding a few more when time permits. I'm not going to go crazy with extra features, because @Nick Has a CM13 build for the Redmi 2 as well, that will eventually include all sorts of extras. I will, however, be working on implementing a few of my own original mods/creations. If there's anything in particular that you'd like to see added, let me know!

MAKE A BACKUP.
Download the ROM zip and the GApps zip to your device.
Boot to recovery, and do a full wipe (minus your internal and external SD, which are optional). Dirty flashing from a previous version should work, but is not recommended.
Flash the ROM, then flash the GApps.
Once everything has completed and the ROM boots, I recommend not touching it for 5 minutes or so, to let everything "settle", but this is entirely up to you.

AnkurTheMaster - why are you obsessed with opening threads that are not your original work and that too without taking permission from the original developer? The creator of this rom is @ketut.kumajaya and he is quite active on miui forum as well as on xda. He will open his own xda thread if and when he feels like it. You can post roms of chinese developers or others who have no xda account. But if the developer is a recognized developer on xda and he is active, you dont need to do this. I hope moderator closes this thread and warns you. You have done this type of thing with another rom too.

In fact this guy is not even admitting that he has reposted someone else's work. The beginning of his thread makes it seem like he has taken the original rom and done some modifications and tweaks. But in fact he has done nothing. The link for rom download that he provides is Kumajaya's Google drive folder. Its not Ankur's rom at all.

He posted this thread when the original developer already had his own thread. I think he needs a strict warning. Xda is an open source forum and devs provide us their works for free. But if people start stealing their work and start taking away their deserved credit, its not long before they leave us.

No one credits themselves(the creator of the rom is credites for his work by the user's,the creator never mentions his name in credit's),the way you have created the thread looks like that you have compiled the rom yourself in addition you are even telling the users that you will add mods if required(do you even know how to do that), where have you mentioned that it's not your work or that you shared someone else's work?Also at first you posted the link to kumajaya's rom,it was after @thakurneel that you changed it.You already have done this with my ROM without asking any permission whatsoever, i even warned you but you did not listen after which i had to report your thread. Q: Why don't I have root access after installing OmniROM?
A: OmniROM does not have an official, prebuilt root method yet, so you'll just need to flash SuperSU in recovery and you'll have 100% working root access. SuperSU can be found here: SuperSU

yeah, xplod derped the repos (my fault because my repo was named lge-kernel-sniper haha) and renamed it afterwards, was too sleepy to change it yesterday
the difference is, this one is totally cleaned up, all my derps and unneeded changes are removed and all is reworked.
also no OC's or other highly experimental stuff.
though i think my velox ones are still compatible for OmniROM

I'm rooted, I have the stock room that came with the cell, the ago had superuser permissions, but still I'm not able to get that app to work. Did a normal flash, booted into recovery, selected the zip that I downloaded and record again.
Googled for the error, found a post in which a guy having Xiaomi had the exact same problem, there you our someone suggested to flash normally, so that's kinda what I did, what m I missing ??

Support for synapse is probably coming in the next builds..as I'm not familiar with the sysfs for the YU yet..I'm building this blind and with @RohanAJoshi only doing the tests for me.. rest assured its stable, fast and battery friendly..

I saw ur post regarding that, but I may not have mentioned this but I'm not so good in technical side of android. Being a java developer I never bothered about them but for the past few days I'm actually inclined towards learning android development too, say just as an additional hobby, and to my surprise it's Java too.
Now that I have already flashed the kernel, I can be of some use for sure, but conditions apply. I am not available all ( I can update you on a daily basis in between 10-11 pm IST, and on weekends if that's ok with you) the time and someone will have to guide me or provide info on what I'm supposed to do, coz I have no idea what needs to be done while testing a kernel.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, and is not a known issue with CM,
please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you time, as well as us.
-Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.
There is also a donate version which you can purchase to show appreciation.
-After downloading the Catlog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
-Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving.
-As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into Catlog and stop the log recording.
-Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
-Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the forum with a brief description of the error.
SuperSu isn't enabled by Default you have to flash SuperSu.zip manually You can Get it here

Download the ROM (duh)
Do a Factory Reset

Reboot
Do setup
Open App Store
Install Google Apps Installer
Open the app you've just installed

Extra Information:
To fix data connection on two sims, use Dual Sim Control app. (Its avaible on Play Store)
If an app is FC, please reboot, probaly the app needs a permission.

Did it boot for you? some user report that they have bootloop.

1.Can't switch data when using 2sims but works only when you have 1sim working
2..Weak signal
3.. sometimes the status bar turns white

This is to provide you guys an option as I was getting so many requests from my friends to continue my RR builds with his trees.

Format everything if you are coming from the Stock ROM.
8.1 Custom ROM Flashing Guide:
1. Flash ROM zip
2. Go to Twrp reboot options and switch to another slot (ex. if you are on slot_a then switch to slot_b)
*Do not reboot*
3. Flash latest Twrp installer
4. Reboot into Twrp recovery
5. Flash latest Magisk + Gapps zip (platform ARM64 + Android 8.1 + Variant (all gapps will work))
6. Reboot to system
THE BEST FEATURE OF THIS ROM:
1. Fast & Furious
2. Better stability and performance
3. Hissing Sound totally fixed while using your Headphone (now n'joy your favorite music at the fullest)
4. In-Call volume improved a lot (perhaps better than the Stock now )

Don't do that, as both based on different DT (Device Tree)
Recommended Clean Flash, but yes you can do dirty-flash once you start using this Nightly Rom, as this Rom will be updated on a daily basis!!!

In my opinion and as long as I am in XDA developers, we are not allowed to post double thread with the same ROM event you use different trees there except you are have permission with the first one. Even you are not allowed the one who first build with this. And this should be closed by the moderator.
If you wanna get more thanks by doing this things, there are still other roms that are not yet available on our device, and you can build them.

No offense but in my knowledge it possible if DAV keep difference between ROMs ' I'v seen that in this forum and other forum to. there is lineage rom exist. Lineage unofficial by abhishek and lineage extended by brijes. in other forum cyanogenmod official and cyanogenmod linero sabermod.
