UltraPOP AOSPish LS991 LG G4 V1.1
Heavily Modified / Ultra Tweaked Lollipop ZV6 5.1
This ROM is more of an AOSPish feeling ROM. There are two versions for users. One version for responsive smoothness (no lag or stutter) at the expense of some battery life and another version more standard built for great battery life but much less performance (some stutter & lag). The AOSPish ROMs are Ideal for power users that want the most from their phones with very little stock resemblance, no bloat and more basic feel with customizations . The HP version performs the way a phone should -fast, -responsive and -lagless (just like true AOSP roms do)

Heck ya!

Runs great. Just loaded it to test it. I'm not a big aosp fan. But anybody thinking about running this, do it! It's nice

Everything running smooth. It does seem to initially be very laggy when booting, then it seems everything settles and its quite nice. Only had it running for about an hour, am charging to 100%, seeing the battery drain over night and will put it to work tomorrow.

Theres only lag when it boots up. Like the first thirty seconds to minute, everything kind of sticks, but after that everything is quick and smooth.

I included Google launcher, however I personally use Nova Launcher Prime. the current beta build runs smooth, fast and accurate. also now has Doubletap to sleep in Nova settings. I highly recommend all users of AOSPish to use and purchase the prime version, money well spent.

Should we factory reset?

Hello all rom looks nice...I am getting ready to switch from tmo to sprint t an will be installing this rom..just wonder does sprint have BL unlocked an twrp? Can't wait to see how sprint is as tmo sulks for my wife an I ware we live...both ultrapop tons look great...

I did. If you don't you'll have a bunch of the other stuff from yer old rom. Runs great do far. Don't expect anything else from the Dev. His other is sweet also. If you guys use it throw him a cup of coffee. I'm gonna again after Xmas funds come back.

Home selector does not work. When choosing Home Screen from the settings it says activity not available.

I'm pretty sure it's been removed. I used to freeze it anyway.

Anyone else having issues receiving picture messages?

Reset after or before running this one

LGhome launcher is gone now, I do still need to remove LGhomeswitcher app. the only think going to remove the home option is editing the framework, which I eventually want to do but tearing apart and recompiling that is a pain in the arse. It's on my to do list for future.
also, I'm going back to deadline I/O scheduler but leaving rotational scheduling on. It seems smoother. I also am going to remove some leftover framework prieces no longer needed. this is only version 1.0 but runs amazing IMHO.

I understand lghome is gone. But if I want to switch between different launchers I cannot do it through the settings

Summary:
A Highly optimized Eclair providing an accelerated experience. Heavily themed for your viewing pleasure .
I've spent the last month tweaking and making things *faster* and although my todo list is still large for this build I didn't want to delay this any further.
The Cream Filling:
Some of the features in RLS 1 (06-17-2010) include:
More performance enhancements and tweaks.
Added HUGE APN list!
Bluetooth audio fixed (thanks kallt_kaffe)
Updated LauncherPro
Option to choose the number of icons per row in both portrait and landscape mode within launcher
Added backgrounds to Wallpaper gallery
New app drawer opening speed option: Here you can tweak the speed of the opening/closing effect for the app drawer. Zero is the slowest, 10 makes it appear/disappear instantly. (Advanced settings)
Selectable backgrounds for shortcut dock
New sense like home screen indicator
15 shortcuts available in dock now. Swipe the dock to the left (down in landscape) to reveal 5 additional shortcut spaces. Now swipe it again for 5 more!
Added native Alarm Clock (by request from a few users)
Full Changelog / feature list can be found at bottom of this post.
What doesn't work
Camera
Known Issues
Voice Search wait/force close messages on start. As this is a pre-release beta, I am working on fixing this issue.
Installation:
*** On first boot a lot of optimizations are running. For the best experience, it is advised to wait 10 - 15 mins after you see the initial Android setup screen and during the first google syncronization process. After which the speed dramatically improves. You should see an even greater performance jump after first reboot. ***

Congrats man!!! Looks awesome. I cant wait to get my new device going to try this out. Great work once again
first to install so far very nice once i find an issue i will report
Edit
I have noticed a few things.
1. there are graphic issues with some of the overlays (in other words some items are cut off) I am trying to find where i saw that at
2. no facebook intergration
3. Google voice does not work
4. when calls come in they will vibrate but not play the tone you have set or show picture you have set for them
5. using the default messaging app it does not pull your contact names via letters you have to type out their numbers for it to find the person.
Can't download
Anyone else having issues downloading? Can't get to site from link.
Ok, after about 10 trys it is downloading. Can't wait.
THANKS Myn!
Has anyone using this build used in the past Incubus's Super Eclair Lite Build and can compare the two (performance wise or other differences)?
EDIT: Will this build fit entirely on NAND and is it smaller or bigger then the Super Eclair Lite Build.
no offense to Incubus but this build blows his out of the water. So smooth even when it was not over clocked. with the over-clock it is even faster. Incubus I enjoy your hard work so dont let this discourage you in continuing your hard work.
i was thinking that it was time that best one moder finally come to eclair
Thank you, i'll test it asap

wow myn this by far the sexiest build i have seen!
can wait to try it out!!
this needs the eclair nbh right?
hey, myn - i assume we still have exchange mail, how about contacts and calendar? those have been keeping me on tattoo atm... some of the other eclair builds have synced contacts with exchange, so i'm hoping...?
looking forward to running it either way, nice work.
i just got a CRC error when extracting the 320x480nand version
i'm going to redownload to see if it was just a corrupt download
edit: a second download of the zip produced the same CRC error
anyone else seeing the same error?
Thanks for the new build....very cool
But i can not start wifi with my polaris and sdcard nomorootfs (use your zimage you suggest)
Any idea or fix
Thanks for answers...with kind regards...Alex
3G / WiFi not working
Hi myn,
Just installed it on my Kaiser, and can't access 3G and WiFi. Do they work for anybody else? (the Mobile Networks check is grey, and if I push it, it thinks for a while and still remains grey).
Any help, anybody? My network is Vodafone Romania.
I have also tried Incubus's eclair, your Warm Donut, and now this, with the haret from your original package.
Thanks,
Ovi

240 on SD using 29-5 zImage, sys and data on Ext2, is running smooth as silk. Looking forward to running this through the gauntlet on it's way to becoming my primary build.
As usual, great work Myn. Thanks!
lol i'm just talking about the setup at the beginning but its scary fast compared to the other builds I've used. Waited about 30 minutes before using and the performance is simply a-mazing. Everything was installed on NAND, and there is 100mb free for apps.
Will let post again after I have filled up the phone again or encounter an error.
Thanks so much for the build Myn!

Samsung Galaxy S2 Lockscreen Wallpaper Change Instructions
SGSII Lockscreen MUST READ INFO!
~ LINK http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1077998
~ LOCKSCREEN WALLPAPERS WORK! You can set a custom wallpaper for the SGSII lockscreen by creating a folder on your internal sdcard "lockscreen_wallpaper" and then saving a JPG image as "edt_wallpaper.jpg" inside it. There are a few things to be aware of though. The wallpaper is not centered. It goes from the left most side of the image. So if you want a specific part of a wallpaper you will need to crop it in Gallery first. Also, if you mount your sdcards to your computer it will revert to the default wallpaper until you unmount. It will also not show up on reboot until media scanner has finished scanning. If you want to revert to the default wallpaper permanently, just simply delete the "edt_wallpaper.jpg" image in the /sdcard/lockscreen_wallpaper folder. ENJOY!!!!!!!

Silky smooth.LOl! Battery Life seems to be good to me so far. I threw in an app where you can set the Cpu to what you want and it really makes a huge difference if you choose to use it.

Yes, It's my daily. Should be pretty stable for you. Whatever little kinks we find here or there we will work'em out. That's why Im calling it RC1, but hell it may qualify to be called final LOL!
Awesome!!!! OMG OMG!!! screw studying for physics and chem tests, i'll just stare and keep refreshing until links come live lol
Yeah. Interested in screenshots. Is the blue and black theme you posted a while back in the T8 thread included? That one looked very polished.

just a curious question: will this rom be compatible with the galaxy s 4g lol have a feeling im gonna be flamed
Do you see a whole lot of improvements from Toxic 8 on D9?
And do you think D9 would be better than 2.2.1? And also did you tweak for video acceleration because compared to other roms, YouTube hardly loaded on Toxic 8 *__*
Sent from my Vibrant on Ultimate 2.2.1
Wow I should've waited, I just flashed Toxic 8 today, I had a little trouble with it and had to go back and forth from my old rom to the new one but now that a brand spanking new one is out everything should be resolved.
So when is the link to the ROM going to be posted?

Yeah, the GB will be a theme for the other rom.
I would love it if the pulldown had a transparent background. Is that something that can be done? I really like the theming and I'll throw on some of my own tweaks to make it purr. Just wonder about the pull down.
Jellette, nice to meet you btw. You left shortly before I got here. Nice to have you back and I am about halfway through your blog. Reading it at work in between projects.
Gotta say, I am liking this ROM so far. I cut out all the Twiz stuff that I don't/can't use and tweaked it to my liking and it is running really smooth. Was kind of funny to here that "Droid" call out at boot uo at work in my cube before I could turn the sound down.
Blasted my APNs though, so I had to put them back in (thank goodness for APN Backup/Restore from the market).
It is kind of running hot but that is probably b/c i am messing with it. Gonna flash Bali X and run that for awhile (my "home" kernel of choice).
Can this run Supercharger scripts?

Question: What's the benefit of changing APNs?
You can essentially change service if your phone is unlocked. Since I am Cincinnati Bell Wireless, I have use CBW APNs. My phone is unlocked, so if I want TMo I would get a TMo sim and put in their APNs, reboot and I am good to go. In this case once I flashed the ROM, my APNs were gone completely.
Sidenote:: I flashed a different kernel over this and lost root completely. Sure it wasn't kernel's fault but I was never able to get it back. Pretty sure there is a problem with SuperSU. Seen it on other ROMs too where it would need to update the binaries and lose root in the process.
Just an fyi to Jellette

great work. loving the rom. can't wait for kenex and camera bug to be worked out so I can switch over.
Glad that one person is nice enough to stop in and say thanks
I appreciate the work and am probably going to flash one of these today.
Does this one (CM9 based) have any bluetooth issues? I was on Hash's CM9 before Blackhole and couldn't get bluetooth to pair in my truck. I'm going to try this one today most likely and then try the Blur based ROM if it doesn't work for me.
Thanks for all the options. Its great that you're putting in the effort to allow us to pick the shortcomings we have to live with (until a perfect solution comes out...fingers crossed that will be soon)

You have a CM9 Regular Version, CM9 Kexec Version, And a Blur Version. The pick is yours, The Datapack just has all the apps and customizations built into it. To keep the rom size down
Great ROMs, Jester, thank you for your work. This one is my favorite. Stable and buttery smooth. .232 Blur was driving me crazy.

Battery Life?
Great work man! I've had a couple issues though.
Battery life is not good at all. I can see the battery percentage drop while I'm using the phone. I'm living off the wall charger.
Sometimes when I lock the screen the menu keys stay lit up. I try battery pulls and they still stay on. Most of the time though they turn off. I've run into that problem 3 out of the past 6 days using it.
My car charger does not work. It recognizes it and says it's charging but doesn't charge. When I was trying to charge it, navigation was running. Don't know if that makes a difference.
I seriously love everything about this except for those couple of things. I'm hesitant to change roms but I might just because I need better battery life.
Just installed this. Works great. Thanks for the great work
Hey guys,
Does this have the same customizations as the original Liquid had?
Lockscreen, status bar, etc?
nm.....I see that it does....
I liked the status bar tweaks from 1.5mr.....but this rom seems NICE!

Hmm, it seems the wifi is killing the battery.....anyone else seeign this?
im on wifi, i unplugged from full charge, 47 min, and already at 80%
Went into battery info, an says 54% used by wifi....huh????
Ok, no disrespect to the author, as I still love and use this ROM. But it seems the battery life is slightly less then the original Liquid.
Quick observation, seems like regardless of what governor I use, something is causing the CPU to max every 4 to 6 seconds. Where as on original Liquid....if you had min of 300 set, it would sit at 300 with nothing else...
Anyone else notice this?
will there be any continual development on this ROM with future updates?

This is more cm9 than liquid. I miss liquid to but dhacker never replied they seem to do their own thing. Its just updated. I may uodate eventually and yes i notice the wifi drain it drives me crazy
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
I'd like to say thanks! I just found 1.1 I'm on 1.0 and have been loving it past few days.. I have noticed the excessive battery drain but I do use wifi a lot at my house to save data.
Also, I really love the includes on this rom,
Yeah, I noticed the same on other CM9's.
One thing I did play around with, was the wifi scan interval. I know the value is in seconds, however, I tried 90 to 180, and got same battery drain. I changed the value to 360, and noticed tremendous improvement. Get 3 hours every 10%. Odd thing is, I'm realy not sure what "wifi scan interval" means. Is this how often it checks? I'm finding, the min I turn wifi on, it connects immediately. If I'm driving, and I pull in my driveway, it connects immediately, regardless of what the value is.
For me, changing it to 360 gave me much better results.....

Its rather fast for changing rom now.. But anyway, lets see..
Battery, RAM & Performance Tweaking Guide
**BATTERY CALIBRATION**
Charge your Battery to a 100%:
-> WIPE BATTERY STATS
-> REMOVE Charger
-> Use for complete cycle (to nearly 10%)
-> Do not reboot anywhere in between
-> CHARGE to 100% (and give additional 1 hour after that)
-> Enjoy COMPLETE BATTERY CYCLE
This ensures that when your battery shows 5% remaining, it actually is 5% instead of really being 15%. That's why battery calibration is important. It doesn't improve battery life, but gives you your COMPLETE Battery life.
MORE:
- Go to SETTINGS>DEVELOPER OPTIONS
- Force 2D GPU rendering
**RAM Cleaning**
- Do not use task killers
- Freeze/Move to Quarantine those APPS which you DO NOT USE regularly and you don't want them TO RUN IN THE BACKGROUND
APP QUARANTINE on Play Store
Go ahead, try it. Move all unwanted apps to quarantine now!
**DEEP SLEEP BATTERY SAVER**
Your phone sips the least amount of power when it is in DEEP SLEEP STATE. There is a new app in the marketplace which can FORCE DEEP SLEEP STATE on your phone. This is especially useful if you want the phone to conserve battery for hours and then wake up for a minute and sync all new alerts in one go. This can help prolong your usage on a single charge.
