Huawei P8 Lite Xposed İnstaller SDK Error? - P8lite General

Hi guys, Im finded 1 issue for xposed +21 , Im flashing all arm64 zips but not work and make a bootloop. Please help me .

Xposed is currently not feasible because it would have to be adjusted as with Samsung (like Arter) . All current versions cause Bootloop . Just wait until Android 6.0 .

Huawei Consumer Poland confirmed on their facebook that Huawei P8 lite will get android 6.0 in the beginning of 2016.
From contacts on whatsapp when I received audio voice sometimes I received as AMR file and my phone p8lite not read them why? All phones read file .amr without any problem. You have had a similar problem as you have solved? For those who are testing the beta version of 5.1 you can do a test if you can hear the audio .amr, thanks
Hello, I have a question. Perhaps I'm in the wrong thread.
At this moment my p8 lite has the b170 software. Whats very irritating is that it is impossible to turn down the notification volume separate from the telephone volume.
This is I presume a software issiue. Is this something that can be changed in future updates?

I had the same problem with my Xperia Z2. All Android versions newer than 4.x have been like this. I think it's by design. You could change the notification sound to one which has a lower volume.

Hmmmm m............. My wives LG has 5.0.1 and telephone volume and notification volume are separate. Isn't it the skinn or OS that makes this difference?? My former oneplus one (cyanogen mod) had also separate volume settings.
Lollipop changed this.

S5 G900F Official Marshmallow ROM User Feedback

Hello to everyone!
As the seeding of the official update to Marshmallow for the international version of the SGS5 has started today I thought this thread would be useful for sharing the opinions.
Everyone who has received the update OTA or has decided to manually flash the ROM using ODIN is welcomed to leave his/hers first impressions on the ROM.
This way we can keep the firmware update thread clean and everyone can search for any information regarding the MM on this thread without spamming with questions the before mentioned one.
Thank you in advance and let the good times come for out SGS5
Cheers to everyone!
I can confirm that SuperSU 2.71 systemless and xposed framework 81.0 by wanam work great on this version.
I dirty flashed it over the 900H port. No problems
can i use this rom on my G900f from holland?
Hi ! For people's who has received the update : is there any change till the beta leak as new system UI, some S6 apps or theme support ? Thanks in advance.

Yes. No problems if you are using the G900F.
The region of the ROM makes no difference.
Happy flashing and please let us know how it works. :good:
PS: I'm not flashing it now because at the moment I'm at work and can't access online storaging services

No way. It's an official release packaged for flashing via Odin so it includes everything: modem, bootloader etc.
There's no reason for not booting.
Are there any UI changes, maybe new Touchwiz version perhaps?

If you have P9 Plus VIE-L29 model, you can debrand your phone to C185, and install it from here:
VIE-L29C185B320
Installation guide can be found here on this thread Page 58.
Important points to consider:
Debrand your phone to C185
Install C185 stock marshmallow firmware
Install TWRP (yes, TWRP!)
Flash the B320 nougat beta package using TWRP
IMO, I don't recommend it. It is unstable (bluetooth doesn't work, settings sometimes hangs), and recovering back to marshmallow is another feat. Also, the most important thing is, the Nougat's cat easter egg doesn't work on this build .

Yesterday I have already written this, but is has disappeared anyhow.
I know that Android 8 on Honor 6x will come. Both devices have the same system. If Android 8 should not come for the PRA, I can port it quite simply from 6x.
Result: We get it!

So, why we had not receive, and we'll never receive, the 5.1 update...?
I'm not so sure that the P8 Lite 2017 will recive the Android 8 update.
Huawei's policy about updates is pretty clear: they don't guarantee updates to newer Android versions but only patches for 2 years.
I really hope we'll receive Oreo, but I'm pretty sceptic until Huawei will not officially announce it.

I had already read this article, and it says "L’aggiornamento dovrebbe quasi sicuramente (ancora nessuna ufficialità) arrivare per:" (for non-italian speakers: "The update it's almost sure (still not official) to arrive for:") , this is why I'm still sceptical about it... :fingers-crossed:

A few members in the Honor 6X forum met up with Honor/Huawei representatives in Delhi in August and they confirmed that the 6X will receive Android Oreo/EMUI 6 by the end of 2017/ January 2018 at the latest. So good news for us!
I asked Huawei about this on Facebook and they said there's no info available yet. But we should get it, it's a 2017 device, that already shipped with nougat.

Huawei Mate 9"
https://www.huaweiblog.de/software/android/oreo/huawei-android-8-update-ist-mein-geraet-dabei/
Of course it is receiving the oreo update! Huawei update politics has always been very clear with a minimum of one big version leap for every device, plus, this one was released on 7.0 and hasn't been upgraded to 7.1 just because of waiting to 8.0... Heck, even Huawei G7 (shipped with 4.4) updated to 6.0 two years after release haha
