Hi pple!!
Am very new in xda-developers forum, and encountered problems here. Hope to seek you guys' advice. i do not know who else to post the question to!!
I was browsing thru' the threads and tried to DL a few of the shared files. But i was kept prompted to save a "attachment.php" file! It states that i was not logged in and therefore cant save the required files! But I checked and was sure i am logged in!! Is it not a privilege of member to save the shared files or is there an error somewhere?

Not sure about that, can you let us know what OS / Browser you are using?

am using Safari as browser. using the usual way of saving files, "ctrl" key then save file as.. but the "attachment.php" file instead of the linked file is being downloaded!!! all the time!!!

I use Safari aswell, it happens when you log in from the page you are downloading from, so when you get redirected after logging in the attachments will download as attachment.php
You just need to either refresh the page after logging in and before downloading the file, or log in on an alternative page first

Guys, I flashed my Indian SGS with Asian firmware. Trying to add my network's APN from settings failed to work.. it wouldn't save. And I'm unable to edit the /etc/apns-conf.xml file to allow my network's internet APN to work... Using root explorer, I'm unable to edit or delete the file, only copy it... Therefore unable to get online!
Has anyone else faced this issue, or is it just me ? Please advise...

Hi together,
after flashing Google Talk Totally Inverted APPS from Rootzwiki it crashes on startup.
Here is the error from the logcat:
E/AndroidRuntime(4968): java.lang.SecurityException: Need GTalk_SERVICE permission: Neither user 10101 nor current process has com.google.android.gtalkservice.permission.GTALK_SERVICE.
I have flashed other versions of Google Talk but still have the same error.
I have tried to fix permissions with "Permissions Denied Pro" and CVM but still get the same error.
Can anybody help me?
