Official Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge S View Cover - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Accessories

I bought the official Samsung S View cover last week and think it's a great cover.
It feels good and the little "view screen" is comfortable.
But I'm a little afraid of getting scratches on the screen like it happend with the Clear View Cover on the S6.
Does anyone has experience with the S View Cover (on the S7 oder even the S6)?
The inside feels softer than on the Clear View Cover, but at least the plastic windows is not as soft as the rest of the cover...so are there any opinions?
I couldn't find a good display protector (here in Switzerland) so this is not really an option.
thanks

Is there an S View cover (or equivaent) for S6 Edge

Does anyone know if there is an S View cover or equivalent for the S6 Edge? It seems like there is an S View cover for both the standard S6 and the newly released S6 Edge Plus but I just can't find one for the standard S6 Edge. I love my Samsung S series phones, I just wish they would introduce some consistencey when producing accessories.
I did find a 3rd party case that looked like it would be what I wanted, but although it has an S View like window, it is basically useless...doesn't wake the phone when opened or put it into standby when closed and has no S View display functionality.
Hoping the folk's on here might be able to recommend something.
Cheers,
Rich
There is not. There's only a Clear view cover case, but that scratches the screen, so use a screen protector!

Hi!
I bought a S View original case cover for S6 and fits perfectly into my S6 edge. The phone detects its because in settings appears the option accessories and allows me to set the background of the window or the information that I want to show. But not working. I know that it is not for the S6 edge, but if the phone detects should works.
In addition, if there are a S view cover for S6 edge + and S view cover for normal S6, but there are'nt for s6 edge I thing that the reason of this is that the S6 S view cover will be works in a s6 edge.
Any solution? Maybe it's a failure of firmware? You are solved with Mashmallow?
Thanks.

Looking for a minimal S6 Edge case

Hi all,
I'm looking for an ultra slim and minimal case that also covers the camera bump. Something along the lines of this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...ue&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=A3IXW21BU1TOQ4
But a little bit thicker. Right now, I'm leaning towards the factory Samsung case that wraps around the corners, and the Neo Hyrbid.
Anybody know of anything?
Thanks!
Just got the Samsung thin protective case. I really like it, more than I thought I would. Before this I was using the JD case. The Samsung case is thicker and more protective
Look at Kanvasa One from Amazon Germany

Go to amazon and search Galaxy S6 Spigen AIR CUSHION. That's the case I'm running, I love it.
This case is just a little thicker and has some coverage of the bottom and top edges. Has a nice rubberized feel on the sides too.

I use the Ringke Slim. It doesn't add much size to the phone. I paired it with a screen protector and it's protected my phone from everything so far.

My favorite. Don't drop it though
I highly recommend the OEM cases. The Clear Protective Cover is as minimal as it gets, so if you want a little thicker go with the (non-clear) Protective Cover:

Thanks for all the suggestions! I ended up getting the Samsung protective cover from Verizon. Pretty happy with it so far! It has the textured back that I was looking for (although not as textured as the quicksand/bearmotion cases), but unfortunately will provide next to no protection in the event of a drop, so I'll investigate these other suggestions as well!
If you want an alternative, I use the Spigen Neo Hybrid and love it.
I bought this and it is very minimal (probably more than I was looking for lol).

S7 Edge - Clear View case making scratches

I've been using my S7 Edge for about two months. The phone is great, but I'm really disappointed with the Clear View case.
The right side of the phone has marks and scratches that, in my opinion, is produced by the poorly designed Clear View case.
The front cover will not fit/cover the phone perfectly and keeps sliding up and down when it's closed.
I have noticed that the S6 edge had the same problem, and that Samsung verified that the case could make scratches.
It's pretty obvious that the case is a terribly designed product. It's the most expensive Samsung case, and it's a shame that it obviously hasn't been better since the S6 Edge version.
Does anyone have any experience in what Samsung's customer service can or will do in similar cases?
It's for sure that won't accept anything but a screen replacement.

Note 8 Clear view standing cover scratches screen ?

I just bought a clear view standing cover for my Note8.
But some of my friends said that the case might damage, scratch screen, just like galaxy s6, s7.
Is there anybody using this case ? It is good ?
I've been using one for three weeks now & no signs of any scratches at all!

That's good.
But some people said that the cover had damaged screen on the same part where the circle is on the cover.
I had the case on my Note 5, without screen protector. Admitedly I used to snap it shut without a care, but within 48 hrs, I found a very faint scuff, made by a speck of dust between case and screen.... I have bought the Clear view standing cover for my Note 8 but I'm struggling with getting a screen protector that works for me. I'm teetering on the verge of going nude in the case, but being aware to clear the screen before closing, and I possibly might pop a screen cloth in between case and screen if I'm putting it in my handbag or purse.....

My review of the official Samsung leather back cover.

When I purchased my device from Samsung USA they gave me a $30 coupon which I used to off set this overpriced "back cover "which retails for $50 plus.
My thoughts ? Feels good, little to no protection of the screen but that was expected. Camera lens area is raised so protected. Top and bottom has a slight raise , sides of case sit lower to the sides of the display, thus zero protection. There are some characteristic defects in the case, like stretched leather areas on the corners due to manufacturing which is worth pointing out to the OCD massive.
As the name implies , it's a back cover , so don't bother with it if you want to protect your device from a drop. The leather smells good and feels good. The inner liner is a suede like material.
7 out of 10. For those that want minimilsm and comfort, not recommended for those that are vegan or want drop protection.
I am really satisfied with this case. I was using the original leather case from Samsung on my previous Note 10, but I have only had this case on my phone for a few weeks and I found the leather on two corners started to wear out. The version of this case for Note 20 Ultra seems to be more solid and still looks like new after using it for more than two months.

Same set up as me. Bronze N20U, black leather case. Mine definitely held up better than my previous set up. Blue Note 10 Plus with official Samsung red leather case. That case had so much wear in under two weeks that I returned it, Samsung gave me zero issues in doing so. It is actually the reason why I chose black this time around. Samsung definitely increased their quality.
The brown leather looks really good with the bronze N20U. The leather case was my favorite, a close second for me was the Pitaka case. I love a quality leather product, Samsung delivered just that. Has a nice texture inside and out and just the right amount of thickness.
I had this leather cover for about 2 months. Leather finish is very good, but I found it to be kind of losse on the bottom, especially on the left corner (near the stylus).
In fact, all the slim covers that I tried for Note 20 Ultra have this problem since on the left bottom corner are concentrated too many holes: stylus+speaker, resulting in poor grip area.
Right now I am settled at Spigen Thin Fit, which is very slim and provides excelent adherence to the phone due to TPU margins (new design).
Mine discolored terrible after about 2 months
Cool, but as the all formed models, all their accessories do not exist to buy.
