Hello Guys this is a FAQ for Moto G(3rd Gen). Please read this here before posting it in the developmental section or creating a thread anywhere.
I am sure it will help.
Thank You
A big thanks goes to @matmutant for providing FAQ templates and his own FAQ from I have copied some things.Here is the original guide

For Linux, get fastboot files here also, adb and fastboot can be installed using repos for ubuntu-based distros packages needed are : android-tools-adb and android-tools-fastboot (android-tools-fsutils may be useful too)
eg:
Code:
sudo apt-get install android-tools-fastboot

For Indian customers, The warranty is void if you unlock/root your device. Motorola also reserves the right to maintain the records of unlocked bootloader devices. So you may not even get the warranty by relocking the device

[SIZE=+1]Q12: What to do if my battery is fully discharged and not re-charging?[/SIZE][source]
[SIZE=+1]Q13: Lost IMEI ? : How to backup / restore PDS partition and why?[/SIZE]On Motorola devices the 'pds' partition contains information specific to your machine: IMEI, MAC address, serial number, etc. This partition can be lost by accidental format or over time due to filesystem corruption. If you have made a backup, there is a good chance you can bring your handset back to life.
==> PDS backup will help to restore lost IMEI. It is a situation when the phone reports that the IMEI is unknown. ; This works like a vaccine, apply before having issue with IMEI, after it will be too late !
Instructions:
**Root Required**
Using ADB you can make a copy of the partition and move it to a safe place (Google Drive?):
adb shell
su
dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/pds of=/sdcard/pds.img
To restore in the event of corruption or loss:
adb shell
su
dd if=/sdcard/pds.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/pds(assuming you've pushed pds.img to internal SDcard storage first)
If for some reason this doesn't work, maybe your IMEI isn't destroyed but only not "readable" by system (file system issue? misread cluster reading frame ? no idea), in that case you may read the following story : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52648789

Follow this FAQ
[SIZE=+1]Q15: How to remove the 'unlocked warning' message?[/SIZE]Follow this method and default Motorola logo will be back .
[SIZE=+1]Q16: How to reboot into 'safe mode'?[/SIZE]

[GUIDE] Fix No Network Signal Error in Mi Note/Pro

Hello Mi Note/Pro Users,
Today I'm here to solve the problem of No network signal error in your Mi Note/Pro by giving you a simple tutorial that you can do it yourself easily. Note: This tutorial can be used for both Mi Note/Pro.The steps are same, but make sure you use the correct file for your device.
For this tutorial we need some things, so let's get the things ready before starting the tutorial
We need Mi Flash Tool. So Download MIUI Rom Flashing Tool and install it in your computer.
Download the Modem file for your device: For Mi Note: Click here. For Mi Note Pro: Click here. The zip that you downloaded needs to be extracted to get the modem file. The modem file that you get after extracting the zip file would be named like this NON-HLOS.bin
Now let's get started.
Turn off your phone and enter your phone into fastboot mode. (For entering into fastboot mode, Press volume - and Power button together until you see the fastboot image on your phone.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
After entering the phone into fastboot mode, Connect your phone to the computer.
Since you have installed MIUI Flashing tool, go the Android folder of the MIUI ROM Flashing tool, ie C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Google\Android. MIUI ROM Flashing tool will be installed to the above location by default.
Copy and Paste the modem file (NON-HLOS.bin) to the folder mentioned in the above step. Some times your pc will ask to provide administrator permission to paste the modem file to the above mentioned folder like this:
Press continue and the file will be copied and pasted to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Xiaomi\MiPhone\Google\Android.
Hold down the left Shift key on your keyboard and right click inside this folder and then select Open command window here.
This will launch the command prompt screen like this.
Type the command fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin and press the Enter key to flash the modem like the one in the screenshot below. The screenshot below is actually of the Redmi 2 phone, so for Mi Note/Pro it will be slightly different. The modem will be flashed successfully and type in fastboot reboot to reboot your phone.
Your network should be back after that. Enjoy.

Special thanks to @Technoking2020 & @teejay456
The modem files for this tutorial of MI Note/Pro are extracted from the fastboot developer rom of the respective devices.
Just an FYI I tried this when trying to revert from 5.1 back to 5.0 and it didn't work. I had to do a fastboot flash of the entire rom file to get it working again
I have this problem when restoring TWRP backup. Still its enough to get out of trouble.

Might rise again modem files not let me download or host any file , in advance thank you very much

Good afternoon! Friends, I need help urgently! After flashing the modem, Mi Note writes that there is no SIM card,
Friends who can make backup partitions workmodem1, modemst2, fsg, I will be very grateful to you.
And then I'm sitting now with a player in 64GB. The instruction is very simple, especially for those who installed it either through the "ADB" folder.
Instruction:
1). Switch off the phone. We are going to restore TWRP. We connect the cable to the computer.
2). We go in the folder adb. Press SHIFT and right-click anywhere in the folder. Click Open Command Window.
3). Write the following commands:
Adb shell
Su
Dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p12 of = / sdcard / modemst1
Dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p13 of = / sdcard / modemst2
Dd if = / dev / block / mmcblk0p16 of = / sdcard / fsg
All backups are ready.
Modemst1, modemst2, fsg files will appear in the phone's memory
If someone is worried about IMEI, then it is not copied in this backup, if not.
Friends, I hope for your help!

<Mod edit>
Does your phone has warranty? If yes, the store that you buy your phone is where to go repair.
Remember don't install any magisk module like: Pixelarity, Oxy-ify, Pixify. Flash stock rom and lock the bootloader first if unlocked.

This method will bring you to the basic firmware of this device (EMUI 2).
From here, your SIM will be locked. (I'm still dont know how to unlock, but everyting work well)
STEP 2
Update to EMUI 4
To do that you can use one of the following method:
a. Using dload
b. Using fastboot (I use this method because i dont have SD Card or USB OTG ), so i will explain this method.
You can download the firmware here
After downloaded, ectract UPDATE.APP from dload folder using APP Extractor.
Extract following files to your ADB folder:
- BOOT.IMG
- CUST.IMG
- SYSTEM.IMG
- FASTBOOT.IMG
- RECOVERY.IMG
Now we will flash IMG file.
* Boot into fastboot by connecting your device using USB cable
* open CMD then locate to your ADB folder
* type following command
Code:
adb devices
//to check connected devices
adb reboot fastboot
//you rdevice will reboot into fastboot mode
fastboot devices
//check connection
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot flash fastboot fastboot.img
fastboot reboot
Now disconnect your device. Your device should reboot system and running Android 6 EMUI 4.1
NOTE : First boot will take long time, so be patient
STEP 3
UPDATE TO EMUI 5 ANDROID 7
To do that we need to install TWRP. First you can download this version of TWRP for EMUI 4
You can refer to this tutorial to install TWRP
Download this OEM info
Copy oem info folder to SD Card or USB OTG. Place it in the folder TWRP/BACKUPS/<SERIAL NUMBER>
You can find SERIAL NUMBER on about tablet>>status>>SERIAL NUMBER
Download firmware BTV-DL09C100B307 form here and extract two zip file into SD Card/USB OTG root folder
Put in your SD Card/USB OTG
Now reboot into recovery > restore > locate your OEM info folder > restore.
Install update.zip
Install update_data_full_hw_eu.zip
Wipe
reboot system
First boot will took longer than first boot and you see Huawei logo if success
Congratulation, your device now running Android 7 EMUI 5.0.1
Optional you can install TWRP for android 7 here
