Debloater Tool - LG G5 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Does anyone know of a debloater tool that works with android 7.0, Debloater 3.90 no longer recognizes all the apk files.

Ok this is what I did for now, I downloaded the Disable Bloatware-Hide Apps from Google Play. It does what is similar to going into apps under settings. I did find that it does find other apk files that are not listed if you just go through Settings-Apps. The following are apps that I disabled using the program only because I do not use these. My phone seems to be working fine. I have the LGG5 so some of the apps may be different.

Heres what I've got frozen so far...no major problems yet... Its a lil extreme and some LG stuff has been removed that I forgot ha.
Make sure to remove com.tmobile.pr.adapt as well. (If theres a 830 user lurking)
You should be able to take whatever debloater you were using and edit the updater-script to remove whatever you like.

Can you explain how you delete these apps? Did you delete folders when already installed or did you remove them from the ROM.zip before installation?
I have disabled cca 80 % of your list which wasnt a problem coming from LG G2, but I would like to delete them completely and in Nougat I am not shore how to do it
properly. So a little advice would be nice.
Thanks

I'd freeze them all first with an app to be sure you don't want/need anything.
I'm a noob to these LG devices and basically googled/removed everything, slowly over time ha. Did make my own personal zip though.

Just use root uninstaller to remove bloat

Coming to the main topic as in thread-subject, is there any workaround to get Debloater working on Androud 7 Nougat is any similar simpler alternative (than rooting)

debloat for noobs
@lordodin912
first, congrats for becoming a dev for H830 (and H 850) from "noob to G5" in such a short time :good::good::good:, RESPECT
So if someone doesent wont to be a dev and learn how to make ROMs with superR kitchen (and kernels btw) is it possible to delete unwanted apps from ROM.zip before installing ROM
(unzip, delete folders, rezip) like it was possible in KK, or in N7 this doesent work .
Better yet, can you expand on your work fro H 850 and add some MODERATE and HEAWY debloated versions of stock ROM to your thread here for H 850?
I really dont understand this LG guys. They pump up the stock ROM with same bloat or unneccesary apps since LG G2 AFAIK and maybe even before, and users constantly debloat them because they are
useless or spy and do nothing but waste battery life.
best regards

Still a noob, not a dev ha. Some apps will prolly be able to be removed. It's better to use the kitchen and reset permissions though. Prolly won't make any roms for h850, no time ha. The bloat's not as bad as TW....could be better ofc.

[P-ROM] GladiAtrix 3 b0.2 for AT&T 1.83 CWM (*BETA*BETA*BETA*BETA*)

ANNOUCEMENT 05/18/2011 @8:33am: This mod is in BETA status. This means that if you do not know what you are doing, you should not be installing this. Knowing what you are doing includes, but is not limited to the following:
Working knowledge of ADB
Understanding of CWM and it's backup/restore functions
Understanding of what an SBF is and how to flash it
If you do not, at the very least, meet those requirements please do not install this onto your phone. This is a beta test, and I will not be supporting users who say, "tried to install but now my phone says red light and its really hot how do i make a phone text?"
I'm really not trying to be a **** about it, but these kinds of things should be researched and learned before you install ANY mods on your phone, let alone a beta release. There's plenty of available tutorials on all of these things.
UPDATE 05/12/2011 @11:31pm: b0.2 release. Fixed most of the bugs, combined the webtop fix into the full install. Webtop should work properly now, with LXTerminal icon in the top status bar. I prefer it that way, but you can invoke awn-manager from lxterminal and add a link to the bottom bar if you want. This should be safe to apply over b0.1. I'm changing nomenclatures. All mods like this are henceforth known as P-ROMs. And you will like it. I have spoken.
UPDATE 05/12/2011 @7pm:*FIXED* Made a patch for webtop breaking, install after the main zip. You can install both at the same time. Will merge the two files later tonight. File posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13729463&postcount=39
UPDATE 05/12/2011: *FIXED* Webtop breaks when you install this. It's recoverable, so if you don't use it that often or at all, don't worry about it. I should have a patch by end of day.
Stayed late at work and had some extra time, so I got around to putting this together. This is tested and is working perfectly on my device.
Quick feature list:
Deodexed
Custom boot logo
AppWidgetPicker (better widget management)
Enables sideloading
Ad blocking
Installs AT&T tethering APN
Enables desktop flash content, i.e. Hulu (You MUST install flashplayer 10.2 from market prior to installing the ROM. You must also use a browser that lets you set your user agent to Desktop.)
Clears Dalvik-cache
Removes the AT&T bloat
Disables background media scanning (speeds phone up a LOT)
Webtop without need for dock (through micro-hdmi cable)
Preferred install location for apps
Disables SD card mount sound
Enables ADB to run as root (still need further testing on this, not sure exactly how this is supposed to function)
Enables Google location services (does not send private information or drain your battery, it just allows apps to use cell location as opposed to GPS if a location is needed)
Lowers delay when placing a call (1 second as opposed to 2.5 which was just obnoxiously long)
Increases wifi scan interval
Decreases screen activation delay from proximity sensor
Increase RAM available to dalvik VM
Adds lxterminal shortcut to webtop, allows webtop customization
DISCLAIMER: THIS IS BETA. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. CONSIDER THIS A PUBLIC BETA TEST. PLEASE REPORT ANY ISSUES YOU HAVE HERE.

Ill give it a shot tonight and use it over the next couple days, unless there is a major issue with it.
"Enables Google location services"
why?
isn't this just a waste of battery and a privacy concern?
Checking it out. Good work, man!
"1 second as opposed to 2.5 which was just obnoxiously long" LOL - agreed though.
Nice work!
I'm assuming this is still installed the old fashion way right?... I mean can I install it over the latest version of gingerblur? Or do I have to flash back to sbf 1.26 first then update via OTA before gaining root and then install it through tenfars recovery?
cwm = clockwork mod = tenfars recovery for the purpose of this discussion
flashing now!

Yea, that's true.
Any way to get that fix for the call delay by itself? Im running GingerBlur right now and would love to have that.
Or, can I just install this right on top of Gingerblur as this isn't a theme?

You can try, but I don't recommend or condone the practice. It WILL remove any theme you have currently though, and it will replace any customized system apps with the stock versions. Just FYI.
The call delay fix is:
Code:
ro.telephony.call_ring.delay=1000
in build.prop

Is it possible to change the status bar to black?
And change the ridiculous large Wifi icon?
Yeah I like it. But... 2 negative things:
1. Root explorer... Why? ES file explorer is more comfortable and looks much better. Please remove.
2. Notification bar and window... What for an ugly theme? The minimal and grey standard-theme would look much better...
Please post a flashable .zip....

Thank you,Wait for my report!
Flashed, it is quite smooth!
I agree with you that it is better than 2.3!
I think Launcher Pro is more suitable for Wildfire
And OI File Manager is better than ES!
But I think you should change the status bar.
btw,It is a good rom, keep it on
Thought I'd try this instead of Cyanogen.
First impressions - very good. Nice & fast (considering the device itself) but took quite a while & 3 reboots to see SD Card. Personally, I prefer LauncherPro over Zeam but good to have an alternative installed as part of the ROM; like the status bar.
Will stick with this for a while and see how it goes.
Thanks
Have you changed the theme?
I'd really like the default theme/icons on the status bar.

UPDATE:
(only for recoveries 2.5) (install from sdcard in recovery)
some images of new framework and download in the first page
Where is the link?
In the first post you say to check the second page for better appearance or something..
Nice rom, just like the first one. But desperately (for me) needs some appearance adjustement/mods (haven't tried this new appearance (?) yet). Uh, and my statusbar inside is already white , by the way, status_bar_background.png image in this rom not working (as i result we see dark black bacground), i assume it is too big.
PS. IF you want appearance from the first Anonimo's rom and don't want to change anything else, just replace framework-res.apk inside the archive with the older one.
This is the fastest rom I ever seen. : D How did you do that?

[Q] How do I remove stock music app?

Is there one specific to ICS applicable for i9000?

First semaphore is a kernel, not the ROM which has this music app, to uninstall if you must, you can use Root uninstaller or titanium backup from play store. You cannot use your old gingerbread music player on an ICS ROM
so just search play store for other music player and install that, on the other-hand you don't need to uninstall anything as you can have many different music players on your phone and use only what you like.
Check this out!You , YES! you are an " Android ". Not your phone but U.

The one that comes on stock Samsung roms is pretty much a better version of this standard one (don't worry, you're not the only one that wants it on custom roms).
However the stock one relies on Touchwiz frameworks and because custom roms lack them, you can't use them on the rom you're on.
The closest thing I've gotten to the stock player in terms of look and functionality is actually the Pantech Sky Vega Iron player found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317893
Its a bit ugly, yeah, but I think if someone themed it to look like the stock one it would be pretty close.
If you want to remove it, make sure that in the root browser you're using you have it set to R/W instead of R/O (consult the app you're using in order to toggle this), its probably why you can't delete and rename files.
In Root Explorer its a little button at the top
In Root Browser its probably in the settings somewhere- I can't quite remember.

[Q] Rom from S4

Hello,
I´d like to try the new cyanogen mod (on my S4 Active),
is it possible to use one from their list (link) or this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521384 ?
If I could install it, would it work correctly.
Would something not work?
Or wouldnt nothing work at all?
Thank you for your answers
probably not. You need to check your phone to see it's running MF3. If it is, your bootloader is locked and you will not be able to get into the recovery console however if you do a search for safestrap you will find a solution but you still can't use CyanogenMod

Your phone is the international version -i9252. same as mine
So Safestrap and those roms won't work, since it's only for the American locked market phones. i.e. ATT and so on.
as far as I can see the only ROMs available is the CM one, and the international Google edition.
Personally I'm still on Stock since there is no good release of any rom for our version out. and it looks like there will never be.
Just root and delete unwanted apps.

Thanks for this info.
I'll be receiving my Galaxy S4A today and was planning to flash the CM or Google Edition.
I'm now also considering your option to just root and delete apps.
I assume you're freezing them with Titanium or just fully delete?
Do you have a list of programs you removed?
I have never cooked any ROMs for smartphones, but I've hacked almost every device that came into my house and made firmwares for those devices that didn't get support from others...
I started the procedure for the cm10.2 yesterday, but it failed to compile when I started to do things S4A-specific.
Pffff I wish I waited for the Nexus 5... It is sold out,but they will soon be on the market again.

I'm using Rom toolbox lite - freezing some apps like bookmarks sync and so on, but uninstalling apps like dropbox, gtalk, chaton, yahoo finance news and those.
Basically just uninstall the big battery drainers.
i need a kernel
i need a t mobile kernel for echoe rom that im still able to overclock on 4.3
I took your advice and merely rooted it and deleted some unwanted apps.
I did have some problems with Odin when using a standard USB cable. It only worked after I used the cable that came with it. Strange...
I hope there's 4.4 soon for our active
Cheers

I own the same device (I am dreaming of a tool able to make S4 roms compatible with our devices) and I am using this rom since about a month http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2395242. It's far better than the stock rom: less laggy, from my point of view it's more user friendly, it has more configuration possiblities. But there are some issues like an error with the date on sms, the external SD doesn't work and the useless HDR mode doesn't work...
There is also some stability problems with some apps.

Forgive the newby please. I stumbled across this while looking for a way to disable to home key wake feature. This claims to do that so I'm very interested.
Do I just dl your zip then flash it with FlashFire?
I'm running the muniz_ri rooted stock OC5 rom from HERE... regular, not the DeOdexed version ..... And his tether addon.
Thanks.

My friend flashing this on odex will cause nothing but heartache. I will try and re odex the apk you need. Ill post it when im done. Maybe Ill see if I can throw together a zip that will remove the necessary odex stuff during flash. Haven't really thought about it since I like deodex.
How ever you can take my android.policy.jar. Put it in another zip and flash it. That will do what you want.

What would be the advantage of running the deodexed over the regular version of that rom? That's an area I still dont understand.
I just flashed and setup this phone, so it's not like I have months and months of stuff too loose if I was to reflash to the deodexed version... IF it's worth doing.
Was looking at other roms available for this phone too, like something already debloated maybe. Would they need to be deodexed too for these tweaks to work?
Like I said, I was really just looking for a way to disable the home key wake. If you know of another way let me know.
Thanks.

The benefits of de-odex are several but easily put,it makes altering the apk easier. I made a zip that will remove the un-needed odex files from the system. I do not have a odex rom to test on,but I made it like every other I've made so it should be good. Make a backup first as always. Please report back success or not if you flash it.

I flashed the odex test version and it does not appear to work. Screen still wakes with home key, headphone volume warning still pops up, unplugging USB woke screen, but didnt get battery or usb cover warnings. But now I'm getting "Android is Upgrading Starting Apps" every time on boot after splash screens.
I'm gonna flash the deodexed version of his rom and try your original zip to see how it works.

Flashed the deodexed rom then your original zip and it worked. Gonna test drive it a for a while. Will report back any bugs.
Thanks for the help.
Great to hear your up and running. I'm working on a (on the fly) de-odex zip,if successful we will be able to de-odex lollipop on a running system with just a zip file. Bonus to that is no data loss and instant theme/mod capabilities. I have to make sure no one else is using my proposed method, don't want steal any thunder from someone else. This will greatly help someone who's device is fully setup. TBD
Minor update, see changelog. Fixed screen off sms not working.
One more update for today,It's a good one.
Good work man. If you need anything just ask.
