It would help if you told us which ROM you are referring to. On stock android you can't customize the quick settings.
If you're using CM then go to Settings>Notification drawer>Select and order tiles.

[Q] mod?: Logo or account avatar displaying next to battery?

So I was wondering if there was a way to add a logo or display you account icon on the primary status bar aside from just being in the lock screen?
You mean the one you get when you pull the notification bar down?

Yep! Or something like how blisspop does with the custom logo on the left.
The icon is linked to your user in settings. Just goto settings-user-choose your account and change image.

[No Root] Pixel Navigation Bar (App)

NO ROOT REQUIRED
You can make your Navigation Bar look like Google Pixel!
Just install this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ee.pixelnavbar
And enable "Activate Pixel Navigation Bar"
That's it!
You can also adjust SIZE of bars.
Thanks!
can you please post APK?

Icons changed after Oreo update

I just got my update. How do i remove the while fill-in around all my icons?
Thanks.
Weirdly, i also cannot slide down the notifications/quick settings panel without the navigation bar sliding up as well.

There is an option in settings called icon frame, you should tick Icons only and your problem is resolved

Are you using the stock Samsung launcher?
I've uninstalled Nova (as I had it installed but I wasn't using it), but the option is still greyed out.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated as it's bugging me lol.
Weird.. I have the option available to me, but whether I click icons only, or select the other option, doesn't make any difference, it still shows with the ugly white border :S
Google and their insane obsession with the color white continues in Oreo. SMH.

Force the use of legacy icons in any compatible launcher. Nova has it once you enable Labs.

Same problem with me, you found a solution yet bro?
Same here after i updated to oreo the option Icons frames>Icons only it's bugged and isn't working.
Icon frame problem s7 edge oreo
I received oreo today and i am facing the same problem. Doesn't matter whether i choose with frame or without frame, the icons appear with frame. Did anyone's problem resolved or it still exists?
This is one of the reasons I hate Oreo. Mandatory adaptive icons.

Hide Home Bar?

Any way to hide the home bar? I don't understand Google's logic. They copied the iPhone's gestures, but in doing so they created a stupid mini bar that runs edge to edge taking up screen real estate for a mini white bar to sit in the center. Why can't it just run on top of apps like the iPhone and fade when not in use?
I'd rather hide the stupid search bar at the bottom. Or figure out how to do it

If you are rooted both of these can be done with this mod.

Use Immersive Mode Manager from Google Play. Doesn't need root and can be activated using ADB.

Totally agree with all of this.
Just have it float always above everything. Simple. Why is that hard Google?!?

The frustrating part is that they kinda do it with some of their apps. Notice how it hovers over Android Messages, but in Chrome, it creates a small black bar. Wtf.

Download "Hide Navigation Bar" from the Play Store, give it the appropriate permissions via ADB and hide the bar. I did it on mine and everything works 100% perfect without the stupid wasted space at the bottom and the ugly navigation pill. Supported the dev with a purchase too to say thanks.

No, sorry. I should have read the thread closer.
Edit: there might be one way. I'll try on my spare phone. The pixel Launcher can be uninstalled. I'll try modding it, signing it, and see if it will install.
Do you have a standalone module or is it in your ADB module? I don't mind the bar but with gboard it takes up a ton of space. So removing it would be super helpful there.

It's in my ADB Pixel Launcher Mod. I was just going to build it and give the module to him
Here is one with just the Google search bar gone.

Just installed the app and ran the adb command on my 4 XL and it's working as described - ugly nav bar/line removed, screen content now fills the whole screen to the bottom.
Thumbs up to the OP and dev :good:

As per Si73's post - Immersive Mode Manager from Google Play. Doesn't need root and can be activated using ADB.
