Will it work on SM-J320F

I have the same question, but I would try to flash this recovery on J320F. I'll give you results
EDIT: It's working, you can flash this TWRP on J320F, also i don't know Samsung removed warning infromation about phone modifications installed in phone, but in my case I have not seen any message on screen corner that my phone has been modified while turning in TWRP

U still working on j320f version......Or when u flash rom to duel sim supported.....???

Yes, it works on J320F and J320F DUOS (Dual Sim).
NOTE:
LineageOS 13 & 14 / Marshmallow 6.0.1
If you experience lag in TWRP and touch display lag or touch display is not very responsive.
THIS IS KERNEL issue. updating the firmware will fix it.
Fix:
1. Flash stock rom 5.1.1 / use backup of 5.1.1 via twrp
2. dial *#2663#
3. Click TSP firmware update (general)
4. Wait until it says "pass"
5. Reboot to recovery and follow the steps to flash new rom.

Which model of j3 do you have?
If flashing TWRP and SuperSU (or whatever super user manager you are using) didn't work then you've probably mistook some of the steps.
If you are following the instructions in the topic and it didn't worked, you should check oem unlock in your developer settings FIRST.
Go to settings, about, software information, then click on build number 5 times,
Your phone will show a message that developer options are enabled. (WARNING: i think that voids the warranty of your phone as soon as you enter in fast boot for flashing)
Then follow the steps at the beginning of the topic.
Also do not forget to install the proper version for your model.

Faltisal thanks for updating our device twrp mate! Will you let us know if you are planning to fix the adb in recovery mode?

SOLUTION: Flash a root such as SuperSU or phh-superuser. You can also flash no-verity-opt-encrypt.zip.
Supported Models :
TP260 & MP260
Prerequisites :
YOUR BOOTLOADER MUST BE UNLOCKED
How to unlock the bootloader :
1-enable oem unlock in the developer settings
2-reboot to fastboot [adb reboot bootloader] then issue this command [fastboot oem unlock]

-If you have problems with the device drivers installed , you will need to install lg bridge, you can download it from here:
http://tool.lime.gdms.lge.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=PWZO7A26B9UW
How to flash Twrp:
BOOT INTO FASTBOOT MODE:
With your phone off, connect your usb cable to your phone while holding VOLUME DOWN to boot into fastboot mode or just type [adb reboot bootloader] in the adb terminal
ONCE YOU ARE IN FASTBOOT MODE:
Open a command prompt and type "fastboot flash recovery <path_to_recovery.img>” without the quotation marks.
Example: fastboot flash recovery C:/Users/John/Desktop/recovery.img
[don't forget to extract the downloaded recovery zip to get the recovery.img]
WHEN THE FLASH COMPLETES: (Takes about 2 seconds)
On your phone, unplug the usb cable and power it off by taking out the battery and putting it back in.
BOOT INTO RECOVERY MODE FOR THE FIRST TIME
HOLD VOLUME DOWN + POWER until you see the LG logo and then temporarily release the POWER button, immediately pressing and holding it back down until you see the white prompt [factory reset] screen. You will NEVER release the volume down button in this process!
Use the hard keys to select "YES" and then "YES" again to boot into TWRP
How to Disable encryption and flash super su [Install Root]:
1. In TWRP, go to Wipe > Format Data. Enter the keyword ‘yes‘, in the provided space and enter. This will wipe the automatically encrypted filesystem, and decrypt it.
2. Once the wiping is done, reboot back into recovery. Go to Reboot > Recovery.
3. When the recovery boots again, connect your phone to the PC and Enable MTP under the Mount section.
4. Transfer the downloaded ‘no-verity-opt-encrypt-**.zip’ and ‘SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip to your internal storage or EXTSD
5. Disconnect the device now.
6. Tap on Install. Now, navigate your phone’s storage and select ‘no-verity-opt-encrypt-**.zip’. Finally swipe the ‘Swipe to confirm Flash’ button on the bottom of the screen.
7. The flashing process will merely take a few seconds. And when it’s done, follow the same method to flash the root package – SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip [/B]
Wait 1 or 2 minutes after the zip files are done flashing then reboot system and PROFIT! Your phone may take 3-5 minutes to boot the first time and it might boot-loop once or twice at the Metro PCS splash screen but don’t worry this is expected.

I tried it, but after flashing the recovery, i can't get it to boot into TWRP. The bootloader is unlocked.
After holding the volume down and power keys and selecting to factory reset, it says "Your device software cannot be checked for corruption. Lock the bootloader. PRESS THE POWER KEY TO CONTINUE. Your device will boot up automatically after a while."
After this, it begins to bootloop back and forth between the Metro boot logo and the previous message screen.

You need to follow the instructions step by step and boot directly into twrp after flashing or the system will replace it with stock recovery.

CONGRATS TO @davidporter1010 ON THE FIRST EVER ROOTED LG G6!!!
Video review by @davidporter1010 https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&persist_app=1&noapp=1&v=alH4YEiV5bc
A message to those with other variants of the G6:
The H870 International variant is the only one with an official bootloader unlock from LG.
Should there be a time where your flashing mechanisms get cracked, simply mention my name on this thread or via private message and I would be happy to create a thread with TWRP for your device.
WHAT IS TWRP?
Oh come on, you know what it is - don't try to fool me!
In case you're serious, though...
Team Win Recovery Project is a custom recovery for Android devices.
It allows you to back up and restore your data, flash custom ROMs to your device, repair broken file systems, and root your device.
DOWNLOAD
BUILD 4
Do the captcha and then wait 3 seconds before pressing the get link button, close any ads or poups
You can donate here to help me buy an H870 and that way I can further contribute towards development:
paypal.me/VoRt3xElarixx
You can find the recovery here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7S6ou836i7AVjhjNlpqQTdoSlk/view
FULL STEPS FOR OBTAINING ROOT
Follow LG's bootloader unlocking instructions here before you begin!
1. Download the latest TWRP .img for your device from this thread
2. Use the same fastboot tool you downloaded in the LG unlock instructions to flash TWRP using the command:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-x.x.x-x-h870.img
* Replace x.x.x-x with the actual version you are flashing!
3. Enter "fastboot reboot recovery" into the fastboot tool
4. Swipe to allow modifications, then hit wipe and tap format data, type "yes" and press enter
3. Install SuperSU, or Magisk to gain root and make system bootable, or just flash
no DMvertity opt file to make system bootable without root
8. Go to [Reboot] -> [System].
Wait 2-5 minutes for your device to finish setting itself up.

You're doing it wrong.
In order for TWRP to stick, you need to do this :
1. Flash the image like you did.
2. Don't reboob. Press vol down+power at the same time until the phone restarts. Keep pressing those buttons andWait for the lg logo to appear, then release power button. This way the menu for hard reset will appear. Confirm and voila, you will enter in TWRP.

@nima0003 ,could you tell us why the old thread was closed?
I saw in recovery it shows H872, not H870. This means it's a rip off?

Once you flashed twrp in fastboot, disconnect from pc, the hold vol down+ power, keep holding until you see LG logo and then quickly let go of power button and re-press. It will then show stock recovery, follow instructions to do factory reset and it will boot twrp after showing LG logo again
Done, thank you
now got this error while wiping data
EDIT: something gone wrong with encryption, it wiped me data and removed recovery
When connected via USB in TWRP it shows as an H872 but it's an H870
I've flashed the open eu kdz with uppercut, is it related to it?
any guess about it?

If you are not familiar with git, vive gitkraken a try.
Also you can join twrp IRC Channel, they will give all the support you need.

I still don't understand why twrp detects my phone as an H872.
I can't flash lineageos because it fail the initial hardware check, also I guess twrp is not fully functional as I wasn't able to flash LG-H87010f-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip in the usual way

On your phone, unplug the usb cable and POWER IT OFF BY PULLING OUT THE BATTERY and putting it back in.
And when it’s done, follow the same method to flash the root package – SR1-SuperSU-v2.78-SR1-20160915123031.zip
Wait 1 or 2 minutes after the zip files are done flashing then reboot system and PROFIT! Your phone may take 3-5 minutes to boot the first time and it might boot-loop once or twice at the Metro PCS or T-Mobile splash screen but don’t worry this is expected.

EDIT: So i messed up and apparently uploaded the 32bit TWRP by mistake and haven't built a bootable 64bit twrp in a while. I've been debugging building a 64bit TWRP based on an Oreo kernel.
I have uploaded RedWolf recovery which supports both 32bit and 64bit I'm sure of it this time. Sorry for the inconvenience and being a real d!^k to anyone who brought up having error 255 when flashing 64 bit builds in TWRP. This redwolf recovery will resolve such issues.

Do you have the lg drivers installed? It works for me on both Ubuntu and Windows 10
There is a 64bit TWRP available on the link in the OP. If your phone won't charge with 64bit TWRP, please stick with 32bit software until the issue is resolved. I have very little information on this, it happens on some TP260 and MP260 devices. Also Double tap to wake also doesn't work for some on 64 bit. There appear to have been multiple display models used in this device. It's not clear what other parts could be different and if that could be a factor. Hopefully we can resolve this issue soon. But I'm fairly clueless at this point. I tried updating my kernel to 10w and adding just dt2w and 64bit commits with no luck.
Looking to install a multiple rom manager..Spent hours going in circles. Tried Rom Manager but it doesn't seem to work right. Ideas?
64bit charging now works for all. Thank @messi2050 for the charging fix.

Hi, guys. I have a system update, can I update it with twrp? if not, how do i remove the update notification?
The newly updated TWRP is now available for download on my google drive. (link is in the OP)
Also to avoid future confusion I have removed the 32bit specific TWRP from Google Drive. Next step will be Official status.

Do not take official mp26010x, OEM unlock in Dev option is grayed out. Use the LG UP to flash kdz to mp26010j, then flash fastboot twrp3.2.1-0(64bit).
Profit!! ;]
Just ignore or disable ota notices.

[ROOT] Galaxy S9 and S9+ Official Stock 8.0 MAGISK - UNOFFICIAL

Hello everyone this a little guide for rooting your Galaxy S9 and S9+ (EXYNOS) with Magisk
The Magisk file provided here is a modified one.
Quote:
READ THIS BEFORE ROOTING DEVICE
- Any of below said method to root will trip knox and void warranty forever.
- Root process needs wipe data so make backup of important data (including Internal Device storage) before proceed.
- As of now you will lose Samsung Pay and Secure folder forever if you root once, even unrooting won't help. (hope in future we can get it working on tripped knox device). Also you may not able to run some banking apps, you can use Magisk Hide
- OTA likely won't work once you root device.
- To unroot device completely, simply flash Samsung stock firmware, Remember, Unrooting won't revokes warranty nor you will be able to use Secure folder/Samsung Pay. Once rooted, these feature gone for you unless some magic happen in future and may find a way to use it.

twrp and or custom roms for x704a (moto tab) tab4 10 plus???

Hi im trying to find if there has been proper recovery made for the x704a devices and if there is actually custom roms that support the x704a . I've searched and searched and cant find much solid info. I see tons of the 704f, l, etc. but cant find anything specific or will work with the x704a for sure. I have the tablet with the stock android 71.1. rom and its a buggy mess always lagging and have to restart multiple times a day just to be able to try to use it. And its done this from day one and even after reflashing the stock rom from scratch. Trying to find options to make this thing better vs throwing it in the trash and wasting the money i paid for it. All help would be appreciated . Thanks in advance
Hi I am using a recovery that works with the x704a its hard to find I will have a look for a link or I can send you the file.
Regards Ashley

This tablet blows...x704a
I watched tons of reviews on the Lenovo tab 10. All positive reviews. So, when I found a version with 1 less gig of ram but cellular support I jumped on it as a $200 gift for my wife. Lenovo, the Amazon seller used the same exact name for the x704f and x704a.. they are not the same , this tablet blows. I ended up getting her another tablet and we are stuck with this pos. I would like to get a rooted cfw like lineage and no luck so far.
I have the same problem! My tablet is a lenovo tab x704A and only information about x704F appears, I don't know if it is the same, then try with that info, unlock the bootloader, download the twrp recovery for x704F when flashing it tells me that the procedure was a success, but the device It does not restart in twrp recovery, I did everything using the commands, I did it manually from the tab and nothing is only the original recovery (oem) as if I had not installed it, it must be because that recovery is not compatible. If you can help me!

Are you talking about Lenovo Tab4 10 x704A ? Is that the one with the ATT logo on the back, cuz I have that (one with 2gb of ram) and its rooted with magisk and has lineage OS and works great. You do need a special twrp file though.

I have Lenovo tab x704A its one with the ATT logo on the back right? It uses a special twrp file that only works with x704A recovery-TWRP-3.3.0-0521-LENOVO_TBX704A-CN-wzsx150.img . No other x704 variants twrps work on x704A and I have tried. Download that try to flash that to your recovery. I used this ROM https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...neageos-16-0-for-lenovo-tab4-10-plus.3923394/
I haven't gotten to try the newer OS10 Lineage 17.

Are you talking about Lenovo Tab4 10 x704A ? Is that the one with the ATT logo on the back, cuz I have that (one with 2gb of ram) and its rooted with magisk and has lineage OS and works great. You do need a special twrp file though.

Could you help me with step by steps to install the twrp which you provided. I have the same XB704A tablet and I’m not successful in installing this twrp. I’m stuck. Kindly reply here or mail me at [email protected]

Enable developer options and in there select to unlock your bootloader by enabling OEM unlock and enable USB debugging
Connect your PC to your tablet and run
Code:
adb reboot bootloader
using adb on command line. The tablet will reboot into bootloader mode where you will only see the Lenovo logo. Now you use
Code:
fastboot oem unlock-go
to unlock. This will factory reset your device
Don't setup, cause you will need to format your tablet later again. Shutdown tablet. Hold volume up and power button to start to bootloader
Then run
Code:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.2.3-0-<your-filename>.img
to flash TWRP
Select with volume buttons "Recovery Mode" and press power button
Select to write to system, otherwise you can't flash ROM
Backup at least system and boot partitions to your sdcard cause you will wipe data in next step. Choose "System Image" for the system partition backup.
Flash the recovery that I mentioned. Recovery-TWRP-3.3.0-0521-LENOVO_TBX704A-CN
The instructions I used were from this thread.
[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][9.0][TB-X704F/L] LineageOS 16.0 for Lenovo Tab4 10 Plus

Use the twrp that I link, its only compatible with our tablet model. I rename it to like twrp.img then use "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" instead of typing the whole name of the img file.
