Screen on time - LeEco Le 2 Real Life Review

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the LeEco Le 2 before depleting the battery.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!

For a 3000mah battery, it's up to mark.
Light usage (YouTube with WiFi, reading etc) gives
about 7 hrs
Med (coc etc) use gives about 5 hrs
Heavy gaming gives abt 4.25 hrs.

Which rom are you using?

Stock eui 19s

It gives around 5 hours for me, with moderate usage. I keep charging the phone at least 2 times a day!

The battery life of the X527 running 16S is awful.
This phone has about 66% of the battery life of my old ZTE Z958 Zmax2 before it needs charged up.
Do I need a different ROM to improve battery life as it's really quite pathetic, despite the reviews saying it's great?

Akt mean Advance kernel tweaks n as the name suggests it basically tweak kernel profile. There are two version u can choose from.. One is profile zip This tweak is applicable to every phone with any ROM or kernel--stock or custom--that provides the Interactive Governor, another one is an apk(which is more user friendly and convenient but officially support only sd 820/821).
U might wana use xiaomi doze with greenify for better results.

Screen on time

never took the battery down much past 50% but at the 50% mark I'll usually have about 3 hours of SOT. my moto g³ is pretty much the same. great battery life and SOT on the g⁴plus! especially if you're like me and mostly use IRC and open a few links and youtubes throughout your session. you're going to have PLENTY of SOT
Compared to the screen in the G3, it is sharper despite being bigger at 5.5 inches. This is due to the higher resolution of 1080p. The text looks crisp on this phone. But where it truly excels is in showing colours. The contrast and the colour depth on it is brilliant. The brightness is more than adequate, although it is also a very reflective screen and that poses some difficulty during outdoor use. The viewing angles are average -- the screen darkens when viewed at an angle -- and that too affects the outdoor visibility. But I have seen worse. And seen better. The G4 Plus is closer to the best.

I don't know.
I am using OOS 4.1.6 with blu spark kernel for the performance. Now usually SOT : 4~6 hours when battery life is under 10%. I feel OK with this for awesome dash charging.
But if u really concern about battery life I think you should stay on OOS stock, because when I updated OOS 4.1.6, using stock kernel for some days, SOT is very impressed. Over 7.5 hours I remembered.

Standby drain

When you sleep, does your phone sleep, or does it stay up all night and crunch 1s and 0s? Rate this thread to express how you deem the speed at which the Samsung Galaxy Tab A series's battery drains under standby conditions. A higher rating indicates that when the phone is not in use, the battery drains minimally.

P585 here. Standby drain is fantastic. I charged it to 100% and forgot about it for a week. Found it on 97%.

I don't know which Nougat ROM you were using, but I have the Ultralean version installed on my T580. I just pulled it out of the shoulder bag where it is has on standby for the last 23hrs. It is still at 100%. Battery drain isn't just dependent on the ROM itself but also on what apps you have running in the background. That's why I chose a ROM who's main emphasis was on getting rid of most of the Samsung bloat.

Are you sure you read the same thread that I did? Yeah, I saw that a couple of people didn't succeed in properly implementing the solution, but the majority did. Personally, I'd at least make the attempt to get the latest version I could to work, and then, and only then, revert to an older version if I couldn't. My standby drain is less than the bobfrantic reports with MM, so I know it can be done.
40 days and counting... I turn on the screen only to update apps.
Bought it second hand with faulty LCD screen, replaced it and now testing the original battery.

Heavy use endurance

Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the Lenovo P2's battery performs under heavy use. A higher rating indicates that it lasts a long time even when playing games, streaming video and audio, and doing other CPU-intensive activities.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
The battery life was blissful and why wouldn't it be! The power effecient Snapdragon 625 and humongous capacity will push this phone for a very long time before I would end up near a charging socket. But lately, I have been noticing a drop in the battery life of this phone. I received an update in August 2017 which was a July security patch of 125mb. After that update I did notice a drop in battery life. Not that it is terrible now, but surely it doesn't feel like 5100 mAh any more, or may be it feels like 4000 mAh. I used to push this phone for 2 full days earlier and still would have 20% juice left, but now my P2 gives up at 5 to 10 hours past a day. It still impressive but these are not the stats that reflect a 5100 mAh capacity with a very efficient cpu, and considering the fact that it was much better before that 125mb update. And when Lenovo phones get an update they never specify the summary of that update. So I doubt that a security patch alone cannot be 125mb. There was surely some bug fixes in that update, but I did not notice any fixes instead a drop in battery life sadly!
I haven't noticed any change in battery life since the update. At my current user pattern I should, according to GSam, be able to browse the web for 10 hours before battery is depleted. SOT would be almost 20 hours.
I have the sames problems.
Have you got à solution?

Nah i'm thinking of getting a new phone . Its a race between the Moto G5 plus ( unlock the boot-loader and modify the camera ) or the Honor 6X ( on 3 uk firmware so needs debranding to an open one ) . I'm leaning towards the moto as I've read the camera is stunning once its been modded .

P2 is one of the best in class. It has good display, battery life, speaker and camera. Lot of mods and custom roms are also available. Choice is yours.
Amazing
Have owned hundreds of android phones, and deal with lots day in day out, use my phone to play music when working, watch videos on it, gaming too, battery is phenomenal. After can full on day of hard usage, the battery is still over 50%..... This phone just rocks!!!
How's ram management on 3/32 version with aosp los roms?
The battery is great and the phone is rugged, mine got smashed so many times and a friend even sat on it and the aluminium shell eventually cracked (I replaced it, and had to take it apart).
Placed the battery on a weight scale just for fun. The weight of the phone comes at a price, it feels heavy or well heavier than most phones of that screen size but the battery performance is great and the phone is super rugged.
After a year of use, the battery is not as impressive. Getting enough for 3-4 days. Now for 2-3.

The SOT depends om my user pattern and apparently the reception also plays a big part. Not to mention I have many apps which never sleep.
I recently hit 8 hours of SOT when using it for 43 hours. That's from a 100% to 20% charge.

Is my phone battery dead?

I got my note 9 two months ago, I downloaded Accubattery today to check battery life then I charged it from 7% to 100%. I was shocked when saw that the battery capacity is reduced a lot! The app says it is now 3505mAh !!! With only TWO MONTHS OF USE !!!
Is that app accurate ?
I play PUBG a lot but that is why I bought the phone; because it is powerful and SUPPOSED to deal with that much of usage !!
I also use VPN all the time
I use 4G only no wifi no NFC no BT
When sleep for 6 hours with mobile data off .. standby consumption is about 2-3%/6 hours
Any suggestions ?

Accubattery is your problem my friend, not your battery.
Enjoy your device, stop worrying that much about the battery.
Two hours of screen time presumably playing a video game most of that time, and still have 70% battery remaining. Iphone users would kill for that kind of battery life. Think about it, 2 hours of game playing gets you 30% battery drain, then I can surmise that you can play nonstop for around 6+ hours before your battery dies. That's excellent by any standard. I remember a time when 2 hours of screen time was considered decent, and that doesn't include playing a battery intensive gave. And that time was really only a few years ago.
It seems I'm over-concerned about the battery stuff.
Thank you all.
