It sounds super loud and clear like sound system.

Recently I flash stock Eui 5.9.26S, the sound is very good.

Hello guys, did any of you encounter the lower speaker not working properly. It only works for a few second whenever I start playing vid or music
Tia

I think the stereo speakers is the best of this phone, even better than the sound through headphones (on stock ROM). Has correct bass and dynamics and the volume is pretty loud for being a phone, louder than the htc that I also own

AICP 12.1 Nougat have best sound for me, quite loud too from phone speaker.

Omni ROM is very good as well. The solution to poor sound quality is installing Viper4fx via Magisk. It will make any ROM sound good.

hack to increase speakerphone volume?

Are there any hacks to increase the speakerphone volume?
I was rocking Resco Radio and its plenty loud. But the speakerphone is sadly quiet. Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Mine is quiet too, but the sound is already cracking if I use the speakerphone. It's unfortunate that the quality on the speakerphone is under par.
Does yours crack?

changing it to either 1 or 200 made no difference to my speakerphone volume
What about hardware modifications? Maybe two speakers. There is room for it.
Cool, let's get some xenon flash in there too while we're at it. Looking forward to when you post pics of that, Paitor hehe
I too want the speaker volume to go up. I dont really bother about the music playback but i want the phone to be loud when it rings when a call comes in. I donot realize the phone is ringing in my pocket and end up missing calls.

[Q] [REQ] [Z3C] [SOUNDMOD] - Both speakers incoming call + headphones boost

As I dared to unlock my bootloader, I found on z3 and z2 threads that there are mods to make incoming calls ring on both speakers and to boost the headphones volume. Example:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/development/z3-speakers-incoming-call-headphones-t2889964
Will there be any possibilities to try something like that on z3c?
Of course, we must wait until more devs get there hands on this device then everything will arrive in time.
Getting mine tomorrow
Sent from my GT-I9300 using XDA Free mobile app
The mod in 1st post is functional on the Z3C , its mods few lines in the mixer_paths.xml.
Make an backup (included in the linked mod).
Root needed as usual.

I am using this, but I am still on kitkat http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3015912 and it's working fine for me! I am using androplus kernel because you can modify sound quality with it. And yes, volume is pretty low in loud speaker anyway, but I think that in general the speaker volume is pretty low if you boost it sound is distorted anyway, i think, I suppose, it's because it's waterproof (I had a boomsound speaker on my previous phone, this one isnt loud even half of it)

How to increase loud speaker sound for Z3+

Hi, How to increase loud speaker sound for ringtone as well as media for rooted phones.
Default sound is not much louder for me.
Have a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z4/themes-apps/sound-mod-t3220266

Speakerphone (loudness, clarity)

Proper etiquette aside (hint: don't use speakerphone while doing your "business" in a public bathroom), rate this thread to express how you think the HTC U Ultra's speakerphone performs. A higher rating indicates that you love it: it's loud and it's clear.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
USonic headphone :good: ; Speak is loud
The USoic headphones are really good. Bass is strong. If the ear scan feature is activited, some noise is then introduced as the result of the algorithm trying to balance the sound when you play quiet music like piano ones, but the feature can be turned off easily through notification screen.
The speaker, however, does not produce strong bass at all. But sound is clear, and no cracking even at max volumn. Max volumn is also really high on the speaker. A lot of times the ringtone gives me heart attacks when it is on my computer desk.
It is dual speaker, as in the one you use for phone and bottom firing speaker can both produce sound. However, unlike M9 or previous dual speakers, it is not entirely stereo, and the impression it gives me is that they seems to cover different part of frequency range.
In short, other than the lack of bass for the speaker, I absolutely have no other complains about the sound part of this U Ultra.
totally agree with @Frofire

The speaker has enough bass when boomsound is set to music mode. In the default theater mode, I agree that it has almost no bass. I prefer music mode to theater mode. With my HTC 10 I always prefered the theater mode, so I guess HTC changed something in the configuration for the HTC U Ultra.
Actually I wanted to start a new thread and ask what is your preference. Do you use theater mode or music mode?

No, the Ultra is better. Even better is the U11+ though.

Call quality

When you call granny, does she keep saying "Huh?! Wut?!" or does the conversation flow pretty well? Rate this thread to express how you feel about the Xiaomi Mi Max 3's call quality. A higher rating indicates that calls are clear and crisp, and that regardless of background noise, you can hear the other party clearly (and with ample volume) and they can hear you.
Then, drop a comment if you have anything to add!
Call quality is good. But the volume is low, even when i put the volume on highest level.
Do other people recognize this?
call quality
yes..mine too.but its still good just lil bit lower than my #mimax
love mi

Installed Viper 4. Lot of improvement.
1/3 of the calls I'm on the person on the other end complains that I'm 'garbled' sounding. I can hear them (although not as loud as I would like). The signal doesn't matter, I can have full signal. This happens with the earpiece, bluetooth headsets, headphones with mic, and speakerphone. Using Rogers SIM in Canada and AT&T SIM in USA. Current OTA updates MIUI 10.2.1.0 PEDMIXM + Pie, also happened to the previous version, Chinese hardware with global rom.
Amazing piece of technology that doesn't work as a phone. First Xiaomi device that I'm really disappointed with. Might have to go back to my Mi Max 1.
