hey folks!! many of us are searching AND ASKING for DOLBY for stock rom.... here i am giving you a guide for installing DOLBY ON STOCK ROM and how to enable it... NO ROOT NEEDED,NO UNLOCK NEEDED

now lets see how to install and make it working:
1)install the app from above link
2)now open the app
3)and close it
4)now go to any music player
(recommended music player): jiomusic,google play music,gaana,saavan , spotify ,hungaama and other equlizer supported player
5)now in music player open equlizer icon or check in settings available according to music player
6)now turn on asus dolby on
7)now on equlizer select normal,classic,pop etc option according to your need......(DOLBY EQULIZER) option recommended
8)now you can enjoy your DOLBY SOUND ON STOCK ROM
THIS APP GIVES YOU GOOD SOUND YOU CAN ENJOY YOUR MUSIC........

Happy to hear already pixel master was ported by a developer so i can't port it and there is no use in it...

The app in OP is not by Dolby. It's just a renamed app. The real name of the app is LifeVibes MusicFX by NXP Software. Here's the original apk. All credits to the app developer(s).

This broke my default music player and also no app of viper4android was found on app drawer.
please tell a way to revert to previous settings prior to this zip.

i used different methods, but I get errors lyk..
some say you are not rooted,
some says busybox not properly installed
some, drivers not installed in viper coz of neon issue..
however i am rooted, have twrp and super su installed..
can any one tell me viper4droid is not working in my custom rom resurrection remix 6.0.it is in selinux permissive mode.in viper4droid i tried forcing it but nothing actually happens.I only able to use viper4droid setting but it does not change sound quality or u can say its not working when i off it or not no sound change.
The sound quality change is minimal really. Not even really noticeable. However, when you play with the EQ and other settings, you can notice a difference. I like bass so I boost the bass by as much as 15db and it's awesome. Works great. But I am also not using the rr ROM. I'm using computer Creek's lollipop ROM. Same thing though.

To test if it is working, play some music and then go to the viper4android app -> settings menu -> Driver Status. If processing = yes, it's working.

What app are you using to play music?

i tried viper4droid normal version from official website but not work
What's good everyone!
I use the AirAudio app and pretty much enjoy streaming my music from services (such as Spotify) to any capable device at home, work or at my friend's house.
Now the module itself hasn't been updated and isn't compatible with the latest version of Magisk (v16), so I went ahead and made it compatible with it.
It'll be attached to this thread, simply download and install it manually.
I'll also try and upload it to the repository.
Note:
I am NOT affiliated with AirAudio.
I'm simply a user like you. I just noticed it's outdated and updated it.
Note for Moderators:
In case the actual AirAudio dev reaches out to you, let me know and feel free to close this thread.
In the meantime, I'd like users to use my updated module to use their app to the full extent.

you have to use both together. This module allows the app to use the "system mode" from the app and get the sound directly internally to send it over the wlan. The other mode from air audio is much worse as it is has to play the sound over the speaker and record it over the microphone.
For me this Magisk package is working wonderful: just installing this module. Afterwards the app from the Playstore and voila: I am able to play music from my phone to most every wifi-based receivers. The app is worth every cent!

It should work with any phone regardless because it depends onAirAudio itself.

There's no UI to it, it just enables the system-mode in AirAudio, yoiu'll have to check the app to see the option.
This module basically re-enables it.

The module does not work for me. Airaudio never requests root privileges, is that the problem

In the AirAudio app > Settings > System Audio button must be green.

v3 breaks the app. Only microphone mode available. Had to revert v2 to get back system mode. Running Magisk v16 and MM 5.8.3.

I have today the same experience with my oneplus 6 under Oreo. Uninstall v3 and install v2: everything works as expected again in system mode.

The module should already be up to date now but I can't check it right now because my current device isn't rooted.
One user is reporting it's still not working but this might be related to another issue with Magisk.
Please check if v4+ is available inside Magisk Manager and contact me at [email protected] if you face any issues

It's important for workable android P regents apps mod
Sometimes it shows regular recents (android 8.1) i habe to restart the phone 1 or 2 times to make it work, is there anything i can do to make sure it works all the time?
They look as xda app not how android P nav bar. It is totally different. ?

Almost all custom roms have mediocre/bad sound of Speaker and Earphones. There are solution for this issue and you may test it by yourself. It's works well for me and i tested this Fix on several custom rom's, all works fine. Test it on your own risk (make backup).
1) Install Sirene Audio as App, your phone have to be rooted (Magisc), when the app is installed - go to "control" and then press "install". this will fix the earphones sound.
2) Download and install Dolby from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mm-p-dolby-digital-plus-arise-20181115-t3868192
