NFC support? - Huawei Nova 4 Questions & Answers

Does anyone know if the Nova 4 supports NFC? Or will there be a particular model that will? As there was one model for the Nova 3 (PAR-LX1) that had NFC support but is rare to find. Thanks

These are not portable to any device. Only the Galaxy S4 hardware is made to support these functions. Maybe in the play store there are apps that do this work

Hello!
I just bought a Nokia 3310.
Can someone please port android 4.3 to it.
And if that's not too much,I want the air gestures the S4 has.
Buy a Galaxy S4 and you get all of that, no sweat.
use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.necta.aircall_accept.free

[Q] Any further word on 4.4.3 for moto-x?

I've read that there are a number of fixes in 4.4.3, especially in the bluetooth area where I have some problems. Has anyone found any information when we might see it for moto-x phones?

Which no one but Google knows when that will be.
Anyone that says otherwise is part of the rumor mill machine. Lol
It's not even put for Nexus device yet AFAIK. Why not wait until they get the updates before asking?

Yep, it should be there. :good: At least that's what I've heard from people who have had some time with review units.
It does, it's positioned in the middle of the notch near the top between the earpiece/speaker and the camera. It's not very bright but it's there. I currently have a review unit so let me know if you've any more questions!
Does it support EMUI Desktop/Easy Projection?

Yes, it does. It's got an hdr10 display but still waiting on official support from YouTube and Netflix etc. I've sideloaded the two HDR enabled apps for now.
Thanks a lot for your reply
How is the camera and battery life? I am seriously considering going for it. It will be my first huawei mobile after coming from Samsung Flagships. I am hoping it crushes the s9 in camera and battery

Have you tried EMUI Desktop out, on some sites it's saying the P20 doesn't have it and only the Mate 10 does? Thanks.

This should work for the Netflix apk:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/netfl...tflix-5-0-1-build-16103-android-apk-download/
And this should work for the YouTube HDR apk (there's a few steps to go through to get the HDR working on the sideloaded YouTube app but nothing too strenuous:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-10/how-to/how-to-enable-youtube-hdr-mode-mate-10-t3700388
Let me know how you get on once you get your device!
What the speaker quality like? some saying that it has dolby atmos

Can you check if the P20 Pro supports double tap to wake.

From my time with it so far, I don't see any setting for double tap to wake so I don't think it's a feature to be honest. I will say, the Face Unlock is incredibly fast and works in very dark scenarios also which is good. The fingerprint scanner on the front is also extremely fast to use.

Thanks buddy,
Will keep this and let you know I get on. I went into a phone shop today and got to play with the P20 for a few minutes. My impression was positive. I can also confirm the LED notification. Screen estate on the P20 is great so can imagine the P20 pro is even better. I have to say that the IPS screen on the P20 was also really good (even with a black wallpaper) so can imagine the P20 pro being even better with a black wallpaper given it is AMOLED.
The phone felt snappy. The only concern I had was around the placement of the fingerprint being so low at the front. I'm sure there will be ways to get used to this and also the face unlock to make things easy.

YouTube needs the sideloaded app, but Netflix works with HDR (it doesn't on the Mate 10 Pro).

Macro you can just set it to repeatedly tap the attack button to do a charged move when fighting a gym or doing a raid instead of repetitively tapping yourself.
