[ROM][CAF][UNOFFICIAL] Derp-CAF v0.03 [ENCHILADA] - OnePlus 6 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Devel

I stumbled upon this gem of a ROM. It's CAF based and has a ton of settings. It will certainly suit anyone's needs.
Here's a nice video showing all the features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TCj8c0E7Dc
Ingredients used:
1. Device tree: https://github.com/AOSiP-Devices/device_oneplus_enchilada
2. sdm845-common: https://github.com/AOSiP-Devices/device_oneplus_sdm845-common
3. kernel: https://github.com/AOSiP-Devices/kernel_oneplus_sdm845/tree/neutrino
4. Vendor blobs: https://github.com/AOSiP-Devices/vendor_oneplus_sdm845-common
ROM sources on github: https://github.com/derp-caf
Telegram: https://t.me/DerpCAF
Download link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=6006931924117934304
Installation as usual for OP6:
1. Flash ROM zip in TWRP
2. Flash TWRP zip
3. Reboot to TWRP
4. Flash opengapps + (optional) Magisk.
5. Boot to system
Tested on my own decrypted OP6.
Note:
Some people had trouble after flashing the rom, they report it took them back to TWRP. If you have this issue, try following this procedure (thx @HatRiGt) :

Just one question, does internal needs to be wiped since its CAF and must have older security patch?

I never used that but I checked now, installed it from playstore, it asked for root and seems to run fine. Havent installed any themes though.

No. I had ColtOS (which is AOSP) previosuly, I just did the usual wipe (data & cache) and flashed the zip.

Do I need to update first to latest build before flashing this ROM? My device's current state is flashed OOS 9.0.5 twice then flashed Havoc ROM.
This ROM sounds promising because from what I have searched in google is CAF=good performance/less features and AOSP=more features/bad performance and now it is combined to one ROM that has good performance and more features as stated in the OP.

I guess 9.0.5 is fine. No need for full format. Just do a backup first of your current rom (so that you can go back if you dont like this one) and then follow the usual steps as for any other rom, nothing special. Just the steps from my first post.

It work with c636b158 via dirty flash but it's buggy, when I hide navigation bar it can't be shown even with swipe from down, missing Huawei apps like TV remote, can't get on playstore, can't do factory format from settings, can't access developer options... Flash with data wipe gives bootloop

decrypt data, make a full wipe on twrp.should be working.
you need to have installed the latest fw.
soon i will make a new post.
The instructions may be helpful, e.g., need latest TWRP. Does that mean the TWRP 3.0.3-1 or the TWRP in the original post, and if so do you flash the twrp.img in the decompressed .rar file, or is there an extension change.
Thanks for the continued good work.

[ROM][STOCK][TWRP][v9.5.10]Tissot Stock Oreo 8.0 Rooted/8.1 Leak

Code:
Warning! any damage done to your device is not my fault, use at your own risk!
Hi everyone, after seeing a lack of TWRP flash-able roms I decided to upload this, it is the latest stock rom of the Xiaomi A1, pre-rooted (although I attached stock kernel if you rather go root free)
Instructions:
First of all have at least 30% power on your device to avoid any power down during flash and possible bricking
1. In TWRP select zip and flash, please note that this will flash both A/B partitions (but not userdata partition)
2. After done, reboot
What's the use of this ZIP? if your like me and not always next to your PC to flash fastboot roms or if you want to return to stock or downgrade etc, you can do it using this.

This works great
Use this to boot TWRP (fastboot boot [twrp_Image.img]):
https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=962157660013069602
then flash this from external SD
http://www.mediafire.com/file/338o7cl72z52rzz/twrp-3.2.1-1-installer-tissot-FIXED_By_DroiDMester.zip
After that internal/external will mount fine, the key is having it flashed, otherwise they don't mount if booted

Nah, i don't see the benefit of deodex plus the time it will take is just not worth it... i just wanted to share the stock solution since i got sick of flashing through fastboot/miflash or restoring using twrp... this is much faster and better

Thanks @@sooti for this ROM. I flashed it with TWRP and so far everything works great.
I have a question. After flash I directly flash stock boot.img, after boot to system and let everything settle down I boot back to recovery and it is now the stock recovery. Does this mean if there's OTA in future I can apply it?

Flash twrp
Reboot twrp
Flash Gapps
then magisk if you want.
Am I being dumb? The gapps package doesn't install anything. No Play Store, no setup on first boot. Just doesn't do it on a completely clean install.
Third flash is a charm I guess. Weird... Still no setup on a factory reset though which sucks since you can't restore your info from Google.

Stable GSI Rom for A6 2018 (A600G)

So after Trying different PIE GSIs, I Found a less buggy GSI rom. It's "RR-P-v7.0.3-20191112-A64-A.img" that i found on @turbolukex5 thread on this link. https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...iscussion/gsi-expressluke-built-gsis-t4003457
basically i tested camera, BT,in call audio, Fingerprint and Mobile Hotspot. So far they work pretty nice. The only thing that doesn't work as of now is the MTP. So you need to reboot to TWRP to transfer files on storage.
If this thread is prohibited, kindly remove it. I just want to share what i found today. Thank you.

It's a stripped down version of my kernel.
Huge thanks to Team TWRP

I have only tested this on OP8T with EROFS. Everything should mount. Sorry the OP isn't all flashy. Should be able to do everything with OOS13 F15 firmware.

Please fastboot boot twrp.img to make sure it works before you permanently flash it.
Huge shout out to Team TWRP and @AnierinB for being a great guy.

Flashed the newest EvoX build (January 13th) without any issues. As well as Magisk! I'll lyk tomorrow how and restore work for me
I'm running OOS 13 F.15 and backup and restore worked perfectly. So do fastbootd, flashing Magisk-*.apk, and MTP.
PS: thanks for fixing the slow digest creation. Backup times are good now - 76s including digests.

Thank you for testing.
If anybody wants to test ext4 that would be great
The new 1.2.1 version is still uploading? Download link is missing...

If you need anything, let me know.
I just uploaded a new build. Hopefully feels a lot better now. Got rid of the hangs the build was experiencing.
There's a bug in the latest version (230118 build). When copying the recovery log to sdcard it's created with the wrong attributes (see screenshot 1).
Which means that once the system is booted the file cannot be opened, renamed, or deleted (screenshot 2)
