Can anyone help with this crap plz

Dear Sir/Madam,
hanks for inquiry.
This is Hongkong customer service centre.Sorry for the inconvenience.I am sorry to tell you that we can not speed up the unlock. Please wait in patience.thanks for understanding.
Beginning in July 2018, the BL lock will not need to apply for unlock permission. By default, all users have unlock permission.
The user needs to bind the Xiaomi account to the mobile phone to unlock. The binding of the mobile phone adds the requirement that a valid SIM card must be inserted, and needs to wait for a certain time. The rules are as follows:
1. After binding the account and device, the model before 2018-08-31 can be unlocked for 15 days (360 hours).
2. All mobile phones bound after 2018-08-31 need to wait for 15 days to adjust to 30 days. The waiting time for binding before this time is still 15 days.
3. All phones bound from 2018-11-22 need to wait for 30 days to adjust back to 15 days.
Note: 1. Bind account and device, refers to the developer option >> device unlock status, click bind account and device.
2. The 15 days after the BL lock is bound to use the network for 15 days, not directly waiting for 15 days.
3. If the user's mobile phone logs in to other Xiaomi accounts in the middle, the unlocking time needs to be recalculated.
Thank you for your support and attention towards XiaoMi.
Any other questions, please feel free to contact us:[email protected] .
Best Regards.

my suggestion:
- log out of your mi account, hard reset the phone, open the developer, add the account again and check the time.
Or - borrow some one old account with EDL authorization and try again

I've seen that someone managed to reduce the time from 30 days to 7 days, by using a new Mi account. With a different SIM (so different phone number) and a different email address. But you may try it and be down 7 days or go up to 800 hours. With the stupid bad luck you've had with this, it's hard to suggest trying it.

May I suggest using the edit button a little more often? You put out 7 posts before anyone else even replied.

do not change sim card and/or log out of your mi account, or else the time will reset or in this case, double.

Define PUK.
This is actually normal behavior for all GSM phones. If you enter the incorrect PIN many times in succession, the SIM card will prevent further attempts and require a Pin Unlock Key. It's a security mechanism that has nothing to do with G1.
log in to your t-mobile account and it should tell you on there somewhere. no need to ring up customer care.
Its been on almost every cell since they have been out. 3 times your locked out.
haha, same happened to me!
T-Mobile has a non-default password for some reason on the new SIM cards being provided. After attempted 1234, 0123, 9876, the phone was locked out and I had to wait 40 minutes for customer service to throw me my damn PUK code.
The PUK code is NOT provided to you via the T-Mobile USA website. Only T-Mobile UK provides you with your PUK. It is some stupid security/law in effect.
As far as I could tell, RC7 had no option to type in a PUK code. If running that, you'll have to put the sim in another phone No idea about other releases though..
I had the same problem, I had to take my SIM and put it into my iPhone to unlock with the PUK I got off the AT&T website. I read somewhere you have to type in a combination of numbers on the dial-pad before it will let you enter it, I don't remember it but I remember most Motorola phones use the same code.
pin for UK is 1210 and PUK is on sim pack and we still get people coming in to my shop with a blocked sim. What can you do..........

thats a bit **** =/
i suppose it makes sense, but only if someone steals your phone, you have a pin code, and the person somehow knows your log in details for the t-mobile site. which is unlikely at best
I know its a old thread, but since its on the google search result, i'll post the solution here:
from emergency dialer type: **05*PUK HERE*NEW PIN*REPEAT NEW PIN#

Activation and unlocking an new verizon Droid 3 in brazil

hello everyone!
that´s the first time ever I´m creating a threat at this forum but that´s not my first time here at all..
I´ve been using XDA since I got my HTC Tytn II back in 2008 hahaha since then i´ve changed phones lots of times, and never got any problem to find the resolution of all my problems at all.
But know for the first time I got myself in a situation where I don´t see anyone having the same kind of problem.
Well , firt of all : I live in brazil and of course we don´t have verizon here.
Two : I got a Droid 3 from Ebay.com today and comes with all the manuals, sim card, instructions card and all the stuff I should need to activate the phone.
I know it´s locked to be used only in verizon, I´m totally ok to buy a unlocking code from the websites, and I don´t intend to use verizon´s sim card over here.
My carrier here is TIM, and that´s the one I´ll be using.
The problem is.. I can´t even get in to the android´s home screen! the phone ask me to do an activation first... where I click the icon "activation" and all I got is an "busy" line signal . there is no place for tapping IMEI unlock code, there is no way of getting in to the system´s configuration to root it , use wi-fi... I mean.. I can´t use the android system functionality at all!
Please someone gimme some light!
I don´t know what to do!
Any help will be valid
When at the first screen tap starting from the top left, top right, bottom right, bottom left. That will bypass the activation
I don´t see a way of doing what you say... Or maybe I didn´t got it..
Ill show what are the options I have

that´s the first screen I have.
If i click the green droid it goes to the second screen :
Where I can now click in BACK or Activate
After clicking the activate it goes here :
and now I can only hear a line signal where nothing happens
Any ideias?
At the welcome to Droid3 screen it is a `hidden` way to bypass it. Just below the status bar left then right, and above select language then above emergency call.
300!!
Try this
go to youtube
and search for
Skipping Motorola Droid Activation --- No Contract Cell Phones
Have fun!
thanks guys! but now...
Well I did by passed the activation screen, but now I´m having troubles to unlock it
By mistake I tried several times to insert my SIM PIN code in a screen believing it was right... when actually think that was the unlocking screen...
There was no numbers saying the attempts I have left , so I tried 3 or 4 times different passwords then I sadly got the "subsidy" locking screen.
That is freaking me out! i´ve reading a lot around here and some other forums ppl saying I can only unlock it with a special verizon code now once I got the subsidy lock....
So I was wondering if maybe I could trust someone here to call verizon from U.S and give my IMEI number...
Of course I´ll check first with the ebay seller if he could do it for me...
What you guys think? any suggestions ?

Try doing a clean installation of MIUI. i.e. Full data wipe using CWM and then installing MIUI.

Even I am getting this type of screen, but it comes when there is network problem or network goes and comes or when I switched on and off Airplane Mode or when I restart phone. I only dismiss it, and never get annoyed of it : why I can not say, may be a hardware glitch ...

It is because if I use sim pin security enabled. When the simcard powered on, it will ask for pin and it seem it was handled by more then one service. Sim card turn on in every boot and switch from airplane mode.

huawei U9000-81
when you turn asks for a SIM network unlock PIN (10)
the seller said that the phone is SIM FREE but my sim card does not recognize (the phone from the U.S.) I'm in Russia
please
The one solution I got for this model was from Ebay and it costed about 7-8$ for the U9000.
I have unlocked many phones this way and the price isn't that much (about 2$-3$) but for that model it was about 8$.
Just type the model on ebay "Huawei U9000 unlock code" and you'll find it.

it does not matter to which the operator is bound phone?
but I do not know the seller does not say
спасибо большое
in which the operator can be locked phones Huawei 9000-81? Thus it is written back under the battery
the seller does not respond
and I can not buy the unlock, unlock because the seller says that it is necessary to know the provider is bound to 9000-81
in the profile of the seller says "Independence, KY, United Stats"
may have options to learn? T-mobile? or what else?

Activating the K20 pro

Please suggest a free VPN that works in the middle east that has a china server, I've been wanting to activate my k20 pro. I'm not short in cash, but I'd love to save what I have now and most of the VPN offers premiums that has china servers I see are monthly charged subscriptions. Sucks yeah... I work overseas, but I'm weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell under paid.
I'm activating the K20 pro for unlocking the bootloader.
What do you mean, activate?! This device requires no activation.
What do you mean by activate?
You can activate the phone on the whole world, you do not need to be located in China. Just create a Xiaomi account and enter that data in the initial phone setup.
Oh... My bad, I forgot to add I want to activate my k20 pro so that I could unlock the bootloader and possibly install a custom recovery and install an updated english/custom rom.
Put simcard in, register the phone with Xiaomi in the settings, follow the unlock procedure, use the phone while you are waiting for the unlock permission.

Yes, I've done that procedure until the register the phone with Xiaomi in the settings, there's a popup prompt that says can't activate sim card or locate sim card... I will try to activate it again when I reach home today and I will post a screenshot of the prompt.
I think the phone needs to have a valid SIM card inside.

Yes... About that, I have two working sim cards. There are only two telcoms here in Qatar, and both my sim cards are from both of those two telcoms. Not sure why I'm still getting that prompt, hence, the ruse to make this thread of mine asking for phone activation help. I tried again yesterday, with both sim cards on the phone - not working, still same prompt. With a single sim card, either of each - not working. At this point, I'm willing to just shell out cash to avail of the new OP7pro McLaren edition if I had extra cash :silly:

If you don't have a Mi account create one online on the Mi website.
If you already have you log in to it.
Go to the security settings and manage your email and telephone details.
Make sure you have added the phone number of one of your sims and that you have verified it. They will send an OTP text.
On your phone make sure the SIM now linked to the Mi account is in the phone in slot one, leave slot 2 empty, just to keep things simple, go to the settings and to Mi account settings. Make sure the Mi account connected to the phone is the one from above.
Now make sure you've enabled developer settings then go to the developer options and unlock status. Then start the unlock process. Just hit the button on that page.

You need an active data connection without Wi-Fi active. Then the activation should work.
you need to register xiaomi account to bound it to your device to use miflash to unloack the bootloader after 3 days i guess to be able to flash twrp and magisk and the custom roms world
all xiaomi phones like that
have fun a little reading will solve ur problem

i was able to activate my k20 pro here in qatar using ooredoo sim card
I bought the Global ROM version off AliExpress since the Chinese ROM one is in shortage recently. And when it comes I want to link it to my Mi Account - is that possible?
I thought of relocking it and then unlocking it afterward so that I might be asked to enter my Mi Account.

Question T-Mobile - US/NYS issues

Hey team., I was wondering if anyone in upstate NY, or anywhere in the NE of the US has T-Mobile and has found the service....lacking. I would prefer to keep the phone, but last night my wife called 4 times and even tho the phone was idly sitting here it never rang and she confirmed, loudly, that the calls went straight to voicemail.
I am wondering if there are any APN settings I need to change to get this thing to work better and more consistently. As in keep the phone registered to the mobile network, perhaps push a new registration every X minutes instead of allowing a timeout.
Does this happen with other phones in your area?

which ROM? I have chinese version phone but i installed xiaomi.eu rom. i use tello which uses t-mobile too. i dont have any issues though
I had a strange issue with the wlan calls "make calls using wlan " option in the sim card settings.
When I had it enabled, at home connected to my local wifi, sometimes i could not receive/make calls even tough the network reception was solid.
Once I deactivated the option i haven't had any issues.
Take care !
i haven't had any success unlocking or swapping out from the chinese rom. you'd think being a sr voip engineer it would be a breeze, but apparently i'm a bit of an idiot.

i had wifi on with my huawei mate 20 pro 8/256, it wouldn't allow calls in. i think i turned on volte, i'll check again tho. thanks!

it didn't happen on at&t with my mate 20 pro, but as soon as i changed to tmo it started. now again with this 11ultra.
pretty sure this phone is just getting the base config for the apn since there's no profile for Xiaomi on tmo's device management servers, at least here in the US. i just figured i was missing something in there and would be able to edit the appropriate field
