Congratulations. Great job!

an easier method
i found an easier method cause it doesn't involve pc but must have magisk
1- Unlock bootloader and install magisk using patched boot.img method
2- Download Flashify from play store
3- Download TWRP image from above onto your device's storage(or SD card place won't matter)
4- In flashify , under flash select Recovery and browse for your TWRP img you downloaded
5-Flash and reboot , if OS reboots then TWRP installed successfully
6- If not , download your stock recovery and use ODIN method which involves a pc
I am not responsible for any damage that could be done with this method ,it simply worked for me so I found it worth sharing

Is the twrp-3.4.0-0 updated?

Official custom recovery for Nokia 6, built from source by me.
Yes that's right, another TWRP for our Nokia 6, tested on my TA-1021. Of course, you must have unlocked bootloader for this to work.
Mine's the newest version, 3.2.3-0. And it's in English, too
Downloads are here: https://twrp.me/nokia/nokia6.html , and the device tree you can find below. Install via fastboot or from TWRP if you already have the chinese version installed.

Thanks a lot! However, have you ever tried to downgrade the bootloader and flash it to Oreo?
I was thinking about that, but does the Oreo boot.img work with nougat bootloader? If it does, that could solve some problems

Yes, that's what I've tested before.
In fact, the homebrew "Stock" firmware I released before replaced the service bootloader from Nougat, and bootable. The only problem that booting Chinese TWRP 3.1.1-0 from it is the data can't be mounted.
Yesterday I also made and tested the Homebrew Android 8.1 firmware from leaked OTA packages. (Firmware version: D1C-5550-0-00CN-B01)
I'm uploading homebrew "Stock" firmware 522A for TA-1021 (Codename PLE) with service bootloader replaced. You can easily gain access of partition flashing with a single command once this firmware flashed - or just hack the updater-script in OTA packages released before flashing.

Yes, I've read about that.
so for now, the only way to flash is downgrade to nougat?

Did you close OST LA after flashing and do format data procedure? You must format userdata in fastboot first, then TWRP.
I found your recovery still can't mount data with Android O. @xinkid is working on it.

Yes, I noticed the same. I guess we need newer kernel and/or different crypto binaries.

Don't flash it yet as I can't still get it to work. IDK what I'm doing wrong. But in theory the install process should be:
1. Flash Kernel
2. Flash TWRP Installer
3. Flash Magisk
and do that on the slot on which your ROM is.

You can choose one of this method:
1. Choose install image on twrp.
2. Use flashify.
3. Rename the img to recovery.img, then make .tar file with 7zip or whatever, and then flash the recovery with odin.
Hey, this look you made, it's a TWRP modification, right?
Is it possible to do this with any other TWRP?, I have a Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, with version 3.3.1, if I decompile your ".img", and I extract the files, graft them into my TWRP, and compile it, will it be enough, or can I break something?
Thanks in advance.

Special Notes:
1. DON'T FORGET TO ENABLE "OEM UNLOCK" and unlock BL in download mode (located in Developers options).
2. KNOX will be tripped once you flashed custom binaries to your phone.
(Your warranty may be voided. However this may not affect you if your country forces Samsung to provide hardware warranty regardless of software status.)
3. Samsung Firmware OTA (aka System Updates) will no longer work once you flashed custom binaries.
(You can flash custom ROMs if you want to keep the OS up-to-date.)
4. All apps that use KNOX like Samsung pay, Secure Folder and maybe more will no more work

A305F (ASE5 Firmware)
https://www.mediafire.com/file/5222ox4gty7xqz0/twrp-a30-ASE5.zip/file
Installation Guide:
- only [ASBA or ASE5] firmwares are supported [other firmwares won't work]
- you must already be magisk rooted!
- download twrp according to your current firmware
- extract downloaded zip, you will get recovery.img file
- patch recovery.img extracted file using magisk manager
- flash patched image using flashify (or similar apps) to recovery partition
- reboot to recovery partition
Bugs:
-DONT UPDATE MAGISK FOR THE MOMENT!!! AFTER I FIND HOW TO ADD RECOVERY DTBO TO TWRP THEN MAGISK CAN BE UPDATED AND DONT PRESS POWER OFF IN TWRP OR DATA MAKES A SELFKILL

Hi, how to install crdroid recovery? Wich version of Odin should I use and on wich slot?
Also, there's no gapps for android 12
Does it have vanilla setup wizard with QR code provisioning of a device owner?

Just installed this ROM and unfortunately wasn't able to initiate QR code provisioning at all. Is it something that is not deliberately included, or it's just missing?

Hey, did you do the firmware updating as linked in the OP?.....if so, heimdall or odin? I'm concerned about the bright red warning about only using on Lineage 19.1....
I see in the install instructions that it says to use crdroid recovery. Is this a requirement or just a suggestion?
I successfully installed using latest lineage recovery, and MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605.
Really hoping there can be another crdroid release soon.
I had a bit of trouble getting my bootloader unlocked and LOS recovery installed. I managed to do it and then installed latest LOS. But I really want to be using crdroid. Problem is LOS recovery sees the latest crdroid as a "SPL downgrade". Can I overcome this without having to flash stock?
I currently have an older Lineage recovery on my tablet and am trying to flash the crdroid recovery from the op. ADB/fastboot is not working for me while in download mode....what is the procedure to flash recovery? Damn I am missing twrp!!
EDIT: Ok, got it flashed by changing to .tar and using Odin
No sooner did I ask about a new release than one appears on crdroid.net. thanks @DarkJoker360
Ok, absolutely hate the new taskbar ......anyone know how to get rid of it?
How can I find CRDroid Recovery?
