It will most certainly hit Chinese versions first.
Honor View 10 has a chinese fw up on hwmt today with Turbo.
Any benchmarks?
Did anyone already receive the update yet?
https://www.gsmarena.com/huawei_rev...chedule_for_its_gpu_turbo_tech-news-31957.php
New articles suggests it will be available for 10 & 10Pro in August.
I wont hold my breath though, since Huawei has been pretty disappointing with slow updates and broken promises already.
Chinese version got it on ff(not approved yet) so i guess it will come to eu by August

Samsung Galaxy Note9’s new Software update Fixes the HDR issue on Camera

Hey, is there anyone who has got this new update?????
The article I read said it was seen in Germany. We'll probably get it next year.
I got it this evening. Denmark. NEE product code.
/CK
Duplicate thread and source not read. Probably testing German market, then I would venture more of EU before more regions rolled out. And no mention of snapdragon as I'm quite sure Germany is F/Exynos note9.
HDR issue?
This morning I installed the new update N960FXXU2ARI9. the general stability has worsened and the phone seems to be weighed down ..
Why all the ????? Only one is required.
And no, nothing yet in Australia.

Can you be more specific?
And what about the camera improvements? Anything superior to what was already there?

Unfortunately I use very little camera ... I have no idea. as for the problems I opened a thread ... forced closings and sometimes the phone is blocked without being able to interact and you have to wait a few seconds. I think that in the day I will do a hard reset and see if the problem is in substratum or other small mods made
Still 1st August for my UK sim free note 9

Got the update yesterday for 960F/DS from Taiwan. HDR does seem to emphasize the shadows more, but for me the effect seems too exaggerated now. There's still some shutter lag under some situations with auto mode compared to pro mode.
Based on people's reviews, I don't want this update now ?
Slight improvement
Flashed mine yesterday with the German version (I'm in the UK). HDR in outdoor shots with cloudy sky definitely seem improved. Still finding it a very disappointing camera though. Auto has real difficulty focusing on moving objects and even the slightest slow movement results in a blurry image. I take lots of photos of our dogs and I'm really struggling to get anything useable. Which is not a problem I had anywhere near as much on the iPhone X.

differences in camera versions Redmi 8

Sorry for my English, I'm from Ukraine))
I would like to clarify one point about the camera modules of different versions redmi 8.
China and global camera module Sony imx486, f/1.75
India Sony imx363 ...?
Is this true, and how much affects the quality of the shooting?
On the forum 4pda, this phone is already in people only the global version.
Sony IMX363 sensor
Yes, I use the Indian version and it has a Sony IMX363 sensor

If you looking for it in web,you found that the Imx486 and 363 are quite similar on many specs, for exemple, both are 12mpx and 2mm or 1/2.9 also pixel size 1.25 mΓcrons,so they are almost equivalent in terms of resolution, the greatet diference is that the IMX486 has the technological enhancements over the past three years cause it was launched in february 2018 while the IMX 386 was launched in July 2016.

Update to. 224 or stay at. 193 and wait the next one?

Hi P30 Pro users,
I have read here and there that the. 224 update are messing up the photo quality and apparently mainly when taken during dark scene and/or zooming.
On the other side it update security patch and smoothness.
As I am not worried about security and as I feel my P30 very very smooth for my usage at least.
Could you confirm the bad side and give me your point of view?
Update or Wait?
Many thanks in advance ?
I've updated to 224 and the photos are fine on mine...
You won't get any other updates if you don't install .224
In every case it's better if you update, photo quality it's strange because digital zoom between 1-5x break shot (on lowlight become dark) and in lowlight I have the impression that sees less. Hope better with upcoming emui10

Question One ui 4.0, camera lower quality?

So, I noticed after I updated to one ui 4 (android 12) the camera app got a lot softer and more.. *blurry* with the 39x and 100x zoom. Pics attached for reference I don't even need to explain which is which
anyone else with similar issues?
Is this the Snapdragon or Exynos?
Taken yesterday evenig. S20U, exynos and 100x zoom. Android 12 stable.
Took mine today, 30x. One UI 4

Seems not be true as the moon phase is now full moon - yours is not....
this is my with stable A12, exynos
My model is Snapdragon G9980 One UI 4.0 Beta3.
The picture quality of photos in low-light scenes is very poor
the resolution of the shooting font symbols is very vague
and the noise is more than the old version, and even not as good as the Snapdragon version Note10+
the difference in sensor size should not be such a big step backward.
I was disappointed to see the negative camera optimization on Samsung phones.

There was lot of clouds yesterday here so yeah
Here is my shot. While it does not look so processed as OP's, it's not the most clear either. I find it to be absolutely the same as the photos I took in Android 11. I think the blurry photo taken by xSpartacusx might have been the result of the zoom lens not being activated or maybe the phone was not stabilized enough.
I updated through Odin with the official version found on Frija. Here are my software specs:

Snapdragon SM-G998U
but yea, before the update when I would take a photo I could literally see the lines on the surface of the moon and the craters. Now it's really fuzzy.. I genuinely think that with the android 12 update the processing methods changed or the software bugged up the way the camera works
