[ROM][11.0_r68] JAGUAR ONEPLUS 6T FAJITA OFFICIAL V33 UPDATED June 7, 2023 - OnePlus 6T ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Dev

TELEGRAM CHANNEL ADDED: HERE
TELEGRAM CHAT GROUP: HERE
Jaguar is available on locked bootloader with working root (Magisk)
SAFETY NET HAS BEEN FIXED AS OF Version 19 (confirmed)
You can actually use alarm when the phone is shut down. It would boot 2 minutes prior to scheduled time and trigger the alarm on time
Verizon support with no RTT issues. Call recording button is visible.
This is official build of Jaguar Rom.
I have been building Android roms since 2012 for various devices including multiple Sonys, Lenovo Zuk, Oneplus 3, Oneplus 5 and Oneplus 6 (my current device). You can check the Oneplus 5 development thread here: Oneplus 5 thread or Oneplus 3 or Oneplus 6 thread here or browse my profile.
Jaguar rom is focused on hardening of AndroidOS and kernel. As such, the rom has hardened bionic, art, framework and tightened security. Kernel has security features ported from linux kernel 4.14.
The rom could be used on locked bootloader (donate feature) with or without Magisk (your choice).
Otherwise, and in addition to hardening, the rom has all standard+ features that come with custom roms:
1 Rom control with custom Power options, Statusbar, Buttons, Navbar, Quicksettings, Lockscreen, Notifications, Gestures, Themes etc. .
2. Heavily modified Art, Bionic System/Vold and System/Security
3. Telephony response to Type Zero sms ('silently acknowledged') disabled
4. Toggle to disable Captive Portal logging.
5. Speakerphone proximity sensor toggle - could be set to automatically switch to speaker when not at the ear
6. IMEI and phone numbers hidden in About menu
7. Call recording button visible in Dialer and working for all
8. Vanadium Trichrome Webview and Chromium browser
9. All regular customizations with the latest addition of Battery Defender, as well as Aggressive, Extreme battery saving and Smart charging
10. Customized Launcher 3 has extra grid options: 6x7 and 5x8 + an option to change icon size globally
11. Verizon CDMA support
The rom requires the latest stable OOS 10 vendor in both slots!
Instructions for Unlocked Bootloader
Update for those who are on OOS 11: to use this rom, you must have the latest OOS 10 in both slots. If you are downgrading from OOS 11, use whatever TWRP you already have to flash OOS 10 once, then flash TWRP 3.5.2 installer. Boot once, then back to TWRP and flash OOS 10 again for the second slot, then TWRP 3.5.2 installer. Boot again. Now you are ready to flash Jaguar
1. If you are encrypted on Android Q, or lower or any stock, you must do a factory reset in TWRP, the option, where you enter 'Yes' to confirm. Otherwise, just wipe data partition.
2. Reboot into TWRP 3.5.2 (after factory reset), transfer Jaguar, TWRP installer and Magisk to internal SD
3. Flash the rom. Don't reboot!
4. Flash TWRP 3.5.2 official installer (not the raw TWRP image). Reboot once. After that do optional flashing such as GAPPS and Magisk
The latest release is always in post #3 on top.

The rom could be used on locked bootloader with ROOT (donate feature) with or without Gapps.
The benefits of LOCKED BOOTLOADER combined with WORKING AVB-2 protection are:
Most banking apps (if not all) will work with or without Magisk: you cimply get a warning 'your devices is rooted', but you can proceed to login
Security: Nobody and nothing can use fastboot or mess with partitions without triggering 'device corrupted' warning.
At that point, the only option is to unlock bootloader. But, if a user had previously disabled OEM unlock in Developer settings, then unlocking becomes unavailable, and so does flashing via fastboot. In other words, if your phone gets into the hands of an adversary, their only option is to use MSM tool to make the phone work again, but no access to your data or any other partition.

REMEMBER TO HAVE OOS-10 IN BOTH SLOTS

I don't think Oneplu 6T would work on Verizon, as it doesn't have CDMA 850 and CDMA Band 0. In addition, Verizon no longer supports Bring Your Own devices that don't use their proprietary Volte. In other words only their own devices without Volte are supported.

Cool ROM OptimumPro. Could u add the stock Oneplus gestures (swipe up left/right for back, swipe up for home and swipe up and hold for recents) Most ROMs don't have that and I want to ask about the locked bootloader with magisk installed. Can we still install mods like custom fingerprint for 6T, custom boot animation (Like I got and made a blue OOS one) and use twrp recovery?

Check for built-in gestures. There are plenty. As far as locked bootloader, yes, Magisk and modules would work fine (confirmed). Custom bootanimation should work too (not confirmed).
As I have said: contact me via PM, if you want locked bootloader.

Actually I'm on my OnePlus 6t on Verizon right now as a matter of fact I'm running dual booted with kang 11 and statix 11. I want to try as many custom roms as I can. And I would love to use yours. I have also been doing custom roms since 2012 it my first custom ROM was the first iteration of cyanogen mod on my Optimus F1 by LG

Yeah, because you probably activated before the new rule. Now, they won't activate 3G/4G devices without their own Volte. They are fading out 3G, and if you have no Volte, your phone switches to 3g during a phone call.

Actually I have LTE and VOLTE it's the first time OnePlus ever supported a US carrier. The OnePlus 6t actually works on T-Mobile and Verizon Verizon just does it's called CDMAless and it's brand new I've had the phone on Verizon for approximately a year and a half now. Does your custom ROM support US carriers for CDMA? l have asked several dev to support my phone. l was just curious all l want to do is support my ROM addiction l have l need new ROMs to do that with.

Jaguar uses stock vendor. So, in this case, it should work. However, the latest changes Verizon made was in January 2021, and they affect newly activated devices only. By the way, do you have Volte on Verizon with your Oneplus 6T? I do have Volte on T-Mobile... .

You have to put it to /system/media. Also, it has to be put in the same slot as the rom. Keep in mind, if you flash a rom, it goes to an inactive slot. If you flash Gapps/Magisk and other modes, they go into an active slot. That's why after flashing the rom, you must reboot for flashing addons.

Hmmm strange. I have a lot of apps (XDa app, Facebook, Outlook, DuckDuckGo, etc...) which are just force closing when trying to start them. Have tried to clear data from these apps as well but without success.
I never had such issue in any any ROM.
Any suggestions or is someone else having the same issue?
Perhaps related to some security features?

Jaguar 11 was released in January. Since that time, there had been zero complaints about apps foreclosing, and the rom's been downloaded 100s of times. Your problem is probably related to a mode you have installed (some Magisk module or Xposed or else).

FAQ:
Before using the ROM:
Q. Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A. Yes, just look in the OP to see if your device is built on a nightly or weekly schedule.
Q. Does this ROM support custom kernels?
A. No. You can still use them, but discussion should go in the thread of the respective kernel. We don't offer support for bugs you might encounter while using them!
Q. Why doesn't this ROM support Xposed?
A. Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be discussed in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports.
Q. Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A. You will need to use the version arm64/arm/whatever for SDK 27.
Flashing the ROM:
Q. What do I need to know before flashing?
A. Check the install instructions in the first post...
Q. Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A. Yes, however make a nandroid backup first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs. Also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q. How do I dirty flash builds?
A. Wipe the System, Cache and ART/Dalvik cache. Flash the ROM, GApps (only needed if you wipe the system), your preferred root solution and reboot. Or just use the OTA app to preform that task for you.
Q. How do I flash kernel builds?
A1. If it's a .img file, boot into TWRP and go to the install page in TWRP, in the bottom right corner select "install image", select the desired kernel, then select "boot", then swipe to flash, then go back to the install screen and install your root method again, if you don't want to loose root and reboot.
A2. If it's a flashable ZIP, you can flash it together with a ROM update or separately. Go to the install page in TWRP, choose the kernel zip (or add it to the flash queue right after the ROM zip). Then add your root method to the queue if you don't want to loose root. Now swipe to flash, and then reboot.
Using the ROM:
Q. I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A. In TWRP, flash the substratum rescue zip that's in the substratum folder on the internal storage.
Q. Do I need to provide a logcat if I'm reporting a bug?
A. If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a logcat. (Note: Please just link the logcat from your GDrive, Dropbox, etc. and do not post the content here. Thanks.
Q. How do I get a logcat, what type should I get and more questions that can conveniently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A1. Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog (Root needed).
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
- Backup your personal data (Important)
- Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
- Remove all kind of security locks on your device before flashing.
- Boot to recovery.
- Wipe the System, Cache, Data and ART/Dalvik cache.
- Flash the ROM
- Reboot to recovery
- Flash Gapps
- Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
- Reboot your device.
Currently Supported Root Solutions:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions higher than 14.0 doesn't require flash on every dirty flash depending on the device, some devices need you to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise it should be fine

Yes same for me..had to return back to Oreo.
Have flashed the ROM L
last night. Everything which I have tested works flawlessly. Have to test streaming music over BT, calls and GPS. But I am pretty sure that will work without problems. Overall very smooth and snappy, no lags.
Very good ROM. Thx for sharing.

Did exactly as you said, phone got bricked and I had to recover with OST LA, I'm not sure why it isn't working, but I really do wish i could use this ROM, so I'll wait a while for it to update
EDIT:
I got it to work with the above method, there was an issue with my boot loader, so had to downgrade everything and try again, worked.
Thank you, new favorite ROM

After 10 min of usage can report the following:
1- both of my sim cards are not recognized
2- the only navigation system that works is three dots
3- the installed pixel launcher crashes almost always
4- most google apps are unusable as they require login and the entire google services app is buggy and doesn't work (keeps crashing)
so i am gonna go and test some other roms but will be waiting for updates as this rom looks very promising and from what works amazing looking
and i do know that this is a very beta build and i am willing to provide the dev with any info he needs
keep up the good work

[ROM][11.0_r68]JAGUAR ONEPLUS 6 OFFICIAL V33 Updated June 7, 2023

TELEGRAM CHANNEL ADDED: HERE
TELEGRAM CHAT GROUP: HERE
Jaguar is available on locked bootloader with working root (Magisk). NO BOOT WARNING WHATSOEVER.
SAFETYNET HAS BEEN FIXED WHEN USED WITH MAGISK 24.3 AND HIGHER
You can actually use alarm when the phone is shut down. It would boot 2 minutes prior to scheduled time and trigger the alarm on time
This is official build of Jaguar Rom.
I have been building Android roms since 2012 for various devices including multiple Sonys, Lenovo Zuk, Oneplus 3, Oneplus 5 and Oneplus 6 (my current device). You can check the Oneplus 5 development thread here: Oneplus 5 thread or Oneplus 3 or browse my profile.
Jaguar rom is focused on hardening of AndroidOS and kernel. As such, the rom has hardened bionic, art, framework and tightened security. Kernel has security features ported from linux kernel 4.14.
The rom could be used on locked bootloader (donate feature) with no warning screen whatsoever, and with or without Magisk (your choice). It boots like OOS: Android logo and Boot animation.
Most of your banking apps will work regardless of Magisk tricks
7. Call recording button now visible in Dialer
8. All regular customizations
The rom requires the latest stable OOS-10 (NOT 11) vendor in both slots!
Instructions for Unlocked Bootloader
See post #3 for detailed instructions including download links for OOS-10 and TWRP.
The latest release is always in post #3 on the very top

The rom could be used with locked bootloader and ROOT (donate feature)
Some screenshots:
REMEMBER TO HAVE OOS-10 IN BOTH SLOTS. To make it easier for new users, see this post which contains detailed instructions and links on how to flash OOS-10 into both slots and install Jaguar. Also, if you are on OOS 11, use TWRP 3.6.x for initial OOS 10 flashing. Subsequently, use only 3.5.2.
After that, you can optionally flash the firmware update, which will upgrade partitions to OOS-11, except for vendor and bootloader. Download Here
After having OOS-10 in both slots:
Boot into twrp 3.5.2; install the rom; flash twrp 3.5.2 installer; reboot in system. Or, if you want Magisk, reboot in recovery, flash Magisk and reboot.
The above is for clean flash. Updates are flashed the same way, but without factory reset or wiping data.

Jaguar rom is focused on hardening of Android and kernel. As such, the rom has hardened bionic, art, framework and tightened security. Kernel has security features ported from linux kernel 4.14.
The rom could be used on locked bootloader with no warning screen whatsoever, and with or without Magisk (your choice). It boots like OOS: Android logo and Boot animation. If you want locked bootloader, contact me privately.
Otherwise, and in addition to hardening, the rom has all standard+ features that come with custom roms:

5. Speakerphone proximity sensor toggle - could be set to automatically switch to speaker when not at the ear
6. IMEI and phone numbers hidden in About menu
7. All regular customizations
The rom requires the latest OOS vendor
Instructions for Unlocked Bootloader
1. If you are encrypted on Android Q or lower, you must do a factory reset in TWRP, the option, where you enter 'Yes' to confirm. Otherwise, just wipe data partition.
2. Reboot into TWRP (after factory reset), transfer Jaguar, TWRP installer and Magisk to internal SD
3. Flash the rom. Don't reboot!
4. Flash TWRP official latest installer (not the raw TWRP image). Reboot once. After that do optional flashing such as GAPPS and Magisk
If you want locked bootloader - CONTACT ME VIA PM
Rom V1 is in the attachment. All subsequent releases will be posted in #3.

Great work, appreciate it Developer! However can this be used as a daily driver? Is Gcam included with OOS Cam too? What abt quick settings toggle on or off option for secure lockscreen? Thanks for the continued love n support for our OP 6...

I don't include closed source apps in the rom, except for those in /vendor (the phone won't boot without them). You can install Gcam separately.
Toggle for quick settings is to prevent QS pull down on locked screen. The same is true for power menu (separate toggle) and status bar. In other words, when enabled, the interface can't be accessed until the phone is unlocked.
As far as daily driver: I am using the rom and it fits all my requirements.

Thanks a ton for the quick response, alright will install Gcam separately, abt quick settings toggle on secure lock screen is my utter most priority, since I hate it when the notification bar gets pulled down automatically while in pocket, so I kinda like to lock the access to quick settings on secure lockscreen...

I followed your recommendation, it really is good, a little lack of customization like crDroid or Jaguar but it is very fluid ... But the video playback problem continues, try other roms and the problem is solved, only in Arrow and Jaguar it is present this situation

GApps Add-on: Flash this Magisk module in order to systemlessly install Android System Intelligence and Google app, thus enabling Live Captions and other functions. This should also work on LineageOS 18.1 if for whatever reason your GApps package doesn't already contain these apps.
Camera patches: This Magisk module enables the long exposure for Camera PX, 2K video recording for both front and back cameras (with OpenCamera or similar), it enables near 4K video resolution for the front camera (with OpenCamera or similar) and it gives Camera PX the proper SELinux permissions in order to process HDR+ images faster. Only use this module on crDroid 7.x.
VoLTE: This Magisk module makes the system always show the VoLTE, ViLTE and VoWiFi toggles regardless of your carrier, useful for people whose service provider supports this options but can't enable them for some reason. Your carrier needs to support VoLTE for marlin/sailfish in the first place, this won't make VoLTE work magically on any carrier. This module can be used on any ROM.

Could you be more specific please? I've been daily driving this ROM and I've used the GPS online and offline and it works flawlessly, same with the compass, it works without issue. I've used Google Maps and Magic Earth, both online and offline.

I came back to CrDroid after PE and Lineage OS, works perfect! Thanks again!
Firmware works great, the one thing I'd say is to be careful with Smart Pixel as it seems to be "Rendering above all applications". making it impossible to use, say, Google Play to install applications or to set permissions.

What's a dsu? I never tried flashing anything related to A12 or A13, I'm just happy with 11 for now lol.
Something that could be an issue may be partition size, newer android versions take lots of space and usually require the device to be repartitioned.

Well, now that I've seen the video I can tell you that partitions are indeed the problem. The OG Pixel does not have dynamic partitions and does not have a big enough system partition for most A12 GSIs either, so if you want to try A12, you'll need to try phh's GSI with a reparted system.

Again thank you I'm a little hesitant to repartition... Need to learn more about it... Any further details on how to repart the system?
And I guess I don't understand the difference between A/B and dynamic partitions... Thought that's what it was

You're welcome.
For the partitions, the Pixel has some cloned partitions (A and B partitions. For example: system_a and system_b, boot_a and boot_b, etc.) and then a common partition which is the user data partition.
You can flash different ROMs on each partitions, but it won't work because they both will use the same user data partition generating conflicting data and data corruption if encrypted.
Dynamic partitions are, from what I understand, partitions that can be dynamically resized, which means that you can flash a ROM of any size because the partition will always adapt. With dynamic partitions you can flash big GSIs without issue.
For reparting the Pixel, there's an easy way which is using the repartition script found in the PixelExperience installation guide, or you can follow the following guide on how to do it manually.

Hi man,
You've probably need this hack for this Asus's Cam
https://gerrit.omnirom.org/c/android_device_asus_rog3/+/42396
Dirty flash works fine over Statix 12 with no issues, Asus cam even works. Used magisk to pass safetynet. So far everything is working

Just download the APK from their GitHub page, change the extension from .apk to .zip. Now boot into recovery, hit system update and adb sideload; finally type "adb sideload Magisk-v25.2.zip" it'll say it's not verified and ask if you want to install anyways, just hit yes. It'll boot into system, then you'll need to enable zygisk and reboot and install universal safetynet fix and magiskhide props config to pass safetynet and have gpay/banking work. That's the easiest method for me personally.

Thank you very much I managed to install magisk and got my bank apps working now. But I still can't use Google Wallet, can't add my debit card it says that my phone is rooted. Tried to hide every Google and framework related services from magisk hide but still doesn't work even after clearing data of Google apps and reboot. Any idea ?

Congrats for this awesome ROM hands down the smoothest thing I ever used. But I have one question I don't have Google pixel's weather widgets that I used to have on the Android 12 version. Is it normal ?
Does this rom have some sort of battery limiter like in stock rom?

This is the only issue I've seen and it really doesn't impact fingerprint reader performance. ROM runs beautifully and SELinux is Enforcing.
