After all the stuff I tried I always came back to CM7. It's the most mature and most stable rom of anything that's here on XDA.
The New Experience has Lot of visual perks, nice UI , boost scripts, bravia, sound scripts and stuff, but I wanted a themable ROM, so I chose CM7.
I change the themes like every week or so.
If you want an AWESOME rom, go for New Experience, as it is based on CM7, while the Evilution is based on stock FW.
There is no best ROM. Try them for yourself and see which one is best for you. Thread closed.

CROSSBREEDER - To speed up laggy UI of our Stock turbo ROM

Hey guys,
Try CrossBreeder to speed up the UI of stock Rom. It works fine for me. Obvious improvement in speed . For further details checkout the link below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2113150
I will update if there is any improvement in battery life soon.
What is CrossBreeder?
This is a new take at improving Android and reducing GUI lag.
It's lightweight and won't consume battery. Users have reported drastic improvements in usability and battery life. It will show noticeable improvements.
All you need to try it is custom recovery. It is for all Android devices. ( not x86 ones ).
P.S-Hit thanks if you found this post useful.
Any improvement in battery back up?
Any improvement in battery back up?
How long did it take for it to complete.
I am having a A250 and the UI lags to the core.
Looking for options to customize.
Thanks

LineageOS Performance Tweaks

I'm really happy with the stability on LOS but scrolling and general usage is a bit choppy. Are there any performance tweaks or kernels that I should consider for a more fluid experience?

try using AKT (Advanced Kernel Tweaks), you will find it under OnePlus 3 section, and give a try to the Burnout Pr3 profile.
Have you tried turning off touchboost ?
No I haven't, I'll give it a shot

Any Custom ROMs that are REALLY STABLE?

Seriously is there's any Custom ROM that doesn't lag while gaming, gangbang my battery with useless processes, doesn't hang up calls by itself.
Briefly I'm looking for a rom that I can use as my daily driver higher than Marshmallow.
I thing You don't find any rom higher than marshmallow. Some stable builds have also some bugs.
I got tired with this device...
Gonna buy xiaomi mi a1. No need to flash any custom roms cuz of pure android.
I recommend you Omni Marshmallow. Fast, stable and battery life is very good.
Well, most of them are stable, but they suffer from a lot of bugs and issues. The only ones that work flawless are those Stock modified ones from Persona.

I'm just bored of this IOS rip-off interface (EMUI) so if I'm gonna install a custom rom i prefer it not to be a Modified EMUI one, and sadly custom kernels that we have now only support EMUI.
Marshmallow stable roms: Omnirom 6.0, Cm13, Lineageos 13, And pac-rom works fine to me.
Nougat stable roms: DotOS,Omnirom 7.1, LOS14.
Oreo stable roms: Nothing ( there's only 1 but have so many bugs)
This is my personal opinion only and you can try them but follow the instructions and if havent signal and wifi try installing fisrt another stock rom L21,l23 etc.

I'll let you know after I fully test the ROM but so far battery life was not so bad.
RR if u want Nougat
Persona78's rom if you want Marshmallow
Firmware B203, it has Android Lollipop but it has a good battery life @DarkJoker360 can confirm it
No way guys, if omx bug will exist no custom roms are stable
Huawei P8 Lite
RROS 7.1 ROM TEST 1-1-2018
**Provided test is compared with device hardware specifications and stock ROM along with how the custom ROM should function**
_
Battery life: 6/10
Battery was disappointingly way worse than EMUI battery consumption testing using system panel 2 gave results that there was a large power percentage that is consumed by "unaccounted" which means that ROM is incapable of managing power consumption in a proper way, other major consumers were "Google Services" and "kernel"
Regardless of who's developing this rom Resurrection remix is known to bring performance higher than stock and with the lowest battery consumption possible however in this "Unofficially developed" ROM battery was a real TURN OFF.
-
_
Performance: 8/10 is forgivable
Performance didn't really change smoothness was all around and playing asphalt8 on medium graphics was lag free, video playback was not bad tested original gallery player and performance on MX player also Xplayer there was no noticable frame drops the only problem here is that the device overheats really quick either if you're gaming or playing videos.
-
_
Ux 10/10
Gives your device pixel feel and it's got OMS so you can install overlays "themes" from substratum and have unlimited cool looks for your device.
-
_
Features 10/10
ROM gives you the complete known features of RROS I didn't get to test them all but from what I've seen I don't think there's anything buggy or missing.
-
_
Overall stability 9/10
There was no sudden crashes related to bad coding while using this rom stability was just as good as EMUI.
-
*ROM OVERALL RATING: 8.6/10*

For you it s stable? I have the maximum respect for all dev here but the rom for me is not stable, there is omx bug, no video recording with stock camera, video playback with lags, video recording with footej in 1080p laggy, YouTube 720p60 laggy and camera bugged on WhatsApp video calls.
It s a personal opinion. Maximum respect for all users and devs.

By stability I mean sudden crashes and compatibility with older apps, video recording and playback is categorized with performance, I haven't had any issues with YouTube or whatsapp video playback works very well and hardware composer works smoothly, I am sorry I didn't mention recording in performance test but it is considered.
I'm sure @surdu_petru can fix this in future updates.
By the way can you please provide link to the mentioned lollipop ROM with good battery life please?
