Hi guys
Since I got this phone I have an issue with notifications on lock screen. Sometimes they appear, sometimes not (only lock screen lights up when notification comes...but its not visible). The only way to know which app sent the notification is to either see the icon on Always On Display or unlock the phone and check the app icon "badges" or expand the notification bar.
Any ideas? It happens randomly...sometimes notification from one app work, 30 min later they dont...
Moreover, it happend few times that there was a notification (missing on lock screen) and there was not even a sound - only vibration and lock screen lights up.
To be honest pretty annoying bug.....

I think i found one....
So for example I have Line application which is similar to WhatsApp but mostly used in Asia.
Basically I noticed that sometimes notifications from Line are under Silent notifications group when you expand the notification bar. A bit of googling and this is Android 11 feature. The thing that helped was to switch ON option Show in conversation section. Android 11 have now 3 groups of notifications...Alerting, Silent and Conversations.

So with mine - i have copied all the settings from my previous phone OP9 pro - everything on that works but on the oppo it doesn't. shows on AOD screen but when you open the phone its only in the status bar. very frustrating but its not specific to WhatsApp but happens a lot on WhatsApp.

In my case I dont have any issues with whatsapp notifications.
You can check my notification settings for whatsapp and compare with yours:

No idea but you can turn OFF this option:
In addition you can check if the notification show up in Conversation category:

I've just released my new Notifications App for Pebble. It's new for pebble, but it's used for a lot of people in its SmartWatch 2 version.
It's basically the same App that Notifications for Smartwatch 2 but this is only for Android 4.3+ because it doesn't use Accessibility.

Is there a way to turn off google now notifications? Or only leave google now reminders? I was using a different notification app and it would keep going off for temperature and traffic notifications which was annoying but didn't have an option to turn it off.

Hi,
when a new type of notifications arrives, the App will ask you if you want to read them. If all notifications comes from the same App there's no way to diff them.

When you dismiss notifications in your app, will they dismiss on the phone? This is the only functionality I want a Pebble for and yet no apps seem to do this.

Any apps that use Android Notification access (eg this app in this thread, and notification center for pebble) should be able to dismiss notifications on the phone.
Im about to install this app, it looks ok. Ive used notification center and it definitely does dismiss.
I have a strange problem. I don't have visual notification on my Note 9 when screen is off...I got only sound notification... Anyone have idea? I would appreciate any help....

If you go to settings and then applications, and then check notification settings in each app you want to get notifications from on lock screen and make sure you have selected the "show content"option in notification settings of each app.

it's on. I got sms notification on locked screen when screen is off. It appears that Viber, WhatsApp and Gmail application, are having problem to show me a notification when the screen is off and locked... done some searching in applications settings everything seems to be in order... I give up... maybe I should update, because I'm on stock ROM.. I usually don't do updates because I'm afraid of battery leaking and other problems that Samsung is providing us in the last couple of years...

Hello, I'm on a Note 9 but it's the same principle as the S9. A few days ago when I received an SMS or a WhatApps message I had a small window that opened at the top in which I could answer or close. Except that recently when I answered my answer left but also remained in the popup which did not close and which left the icon of notification. I made manipulations and now I can not even get this little window.
Could you help me please ?

Hello and thanks for your answer. I've seen the option for smart popup view but in fact it's not exactly what I am looking for. It's not a real "popup" but just a little windows on top with just 2 options : answer and mark as readed. Sorry if it's not clear I am French

We have to Turn off the Edge Lighting Notification ! After the new update of today, the problem is still here.
Try wiping the Cache Partition in Reocvery Mode as it is probably a software conflict.

I recommend troubleshooting one app at a time. First try with build in message app, check all notification setting and pick up, allow permission; that should allow to read notification and mark as read.
Then, step by step test with third party apps like WhatsApp. Check the app setting. Then, if any other app reading message or conflicting. Worst case uninstall / reinstall. Last thing is to factory default to see if problem persist

Hi, i have the X3 Pro version with Google Dialer and when i am in a call, a bubble appears in the main page. If you drag and drop it to the bottom of screen you can hide it momentarily but i want to hide it permanently.

have you tried /settings/app management/app list/phone/manage notifications/and there's a check box there

strange i have the X3 Pro with google dialler and google messages with bubbles turned on but i don't get bubbles with the dialler only messages, have you turned bubbles off for google messages

Why does it automatically come when on some calls? Also noticed the selection in screenshot is bigger than the actual selection border when we invoke the partial screenshot with gesture.

This is partial screenshot, and it doesn't get triggered by calls. You held 3 fingers on the screen, either by accident or your screen is malfunctioning

This is not coming for all calls, few calls I noticed and took screenshot, that selection was moving on the screen. Interestingly all the screenshots showing only 00:01 seconds of call duration, actually took screenshot after 2-3 minutes of call.

Never happened. Just now I opened the screenshot of call and invoked the partial screenshot with 3 fingers gesture. So found out that the icons and selection in the call screenshot is slightly larger than actual partial screenshot animation. Find the below image on top of call screenshot partial screenshot icons are visible.
