Question Estimated time for full charge - Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (2021)

Hello,
Estimated time for full charge is not showing in my phone when connected to charger what to do. First time that I charged it was possible to see, but now it has been disappeared. It is a bug for me? I have done a factory reset but it continues.
Thanks

Same here. I don't know why it is omitted on this tablet

Problem Full Load Battery

I report a problem occurred with charging the battery:
never reaches the full load but stops at 75% and the LED does not become ever green to indicate a full charge.
U think that there is some software conflict?
I'll try a full recharge after an hard reset.... but first of do it:
some of you have the same problem? Is there any solution?
Thank you

It just takes "some" time to charge, but mine gets to 100%.
same problem here.after 7 hours of charging i always find it at 84%
if i make a soft reset then tha indicator shows 98% and after 2 minutes fully charged.
i think it is a rom or radio problem.
i have heard others have issues with the battery indicator too...
same problem too. After off/on or softreset reported full charged. Even with amazing FInixVGABattery soft. It will be solved out by new ROMs
I can confirm: no softwares conflict but only a Diamond's bug!
Tanks to everybody!
charged fully at 74% but once I made a soft reset, it showed 99%. So just a small reboot
I don't have any charge issues with my TD2.. Even with FInixNOverBattery app...
Battery status always reporting correctly without any errors..
Well, this problem is certainly not for everybody. Mine charges fine to 100% and then shows a green led. Maybe a faulty device?
Im another one with this problem, after an over night charge battery only shows 76% but after a soft reset it goes up to 100%, just a pain resetting it every morning guess im lucky i use memmaid to soft reset rather then have to take back cover off etc.
The same problem
Hi I have the same problem with HTC Diamond 2 - I charge it over night and in the morning is there 75%. After soft reset it is on 100%. Is there already some solution? Thank you a lot for help.
Have a look here - but no solution yet:
Battery Charge issue - bug? Reproduceable?

[Q] Phone is using too much energy to charge?

Morning,
since a few months i occasionally have this problem. My phone is charging slooooooooow and i get a message somewhat like: your phone is using too much energy to charge, try closing apps blabla.. (freely translated from Dutch, sorry). Sometimes this happens when im going to sleep. I dont notice its not charging normally, i go to sleep but when i wake up the phone is turned off and charging while turned off. This way, the alarm won't go off either and this may lead to some problems sometime in the future I didn't happen yet when i had an appointment or something fortunately.
First i thought it was a rom problem but whatever rom i'm on, the problem keeps occuring every now and then. Just last night my phone was at 2% and it said that it needed 1 day and 13 hours more to charge This morning i just let the phone die and now it's charging while its turned off. It seems to charge somewhat faster now.
I read different topics on this subject but there wasnt really an answer to this problem, most of them just updated or changed rom and the problem was fixed. I'm wondering, is this a battery problem maybe? Or maybe my charger is malfunctioning? I hope someone experienced this before and found a solution.
Thanks in advance!
So after 2 hours of charging it was on 47%. I thought lets try to connect it to my computer: suddenly its on 69% Then i got a message to connect to original charger cause this will take longer to charge etc.. so i plugged it back in the wallcharger and its on 67%.. Wtf is happening
edit: Its charging to 66% now LOL

Charging won't go beyond 77%

Hi, not really familiar with this community but I'd appreciate any help as I am really clueless of what my next step should be. It just happened one day I left it charging and when I picked it up it is kinda hot and still at 77% although I left it alone for long, should have been full batt by then. I took it out and when I came back home, tried to charge it and notices it won't go beyond 77. On the battery stats page it would say CHARGING then it would go FULL momentarily before charging again keeping it at 77. I tried factory reset but nothing happened. I only use the supplied charger but after the issue started I tries using other charger to see if the cable or charging brick might be broken but the problem still exists. This is my first Xiaomi phone and I'm starting to regret this purchase

I think you should RMA the phone and get a new one. The Mi A2 is a great phone so don't let that out you off.

Honor 9 lite

I bought an Honor 9 lite it is 2 weeks old, been working fine, night before last it showed a notification message 'Battery temp. too low, functionality of phone may be affected'.
Since then it has rebooted, reset and all totally wiped back to factory reset, however now the phone when I plug it in to charge is charging but only goes as high as 2%.
Any ideas please, 2% charge is limited to what I can do within the phone and wont stay on long enough when connected to laptop through USB.
Saw someone mention calibrating the battery? would this fix it?
can anyone help please?

You can try recalibrating the battery.
But since you just bought the device taking it to the service center would most probably give you a free repair if it's a battery problem.
Recalibrating battery
How would I recalibrate the battery please? A step by step simple guide for a novice many thanks

Device stops charging when reaching 80% in wireless charging!

Hello People,
I have read lots of posts about wireless charging issues on S10 however I could never find anything about the problem I enncounter.
About 2-3 weeks now I noticed that my device on a ZIZO wireless charger suddenly stops charging over 80%.
I have the device and charger about 3 months and the device was charging to 100% each and every time with no problem.
One day suddenly it appeared the known pause chargng issue several times and after that the device each and every time didnt charge above 80%.
When it reached 80% it stops.
The message saying how much time is needed to full charge doesnt appear or seldom appears.
I tried charging with wire and the device reached 100% with no problem.
Does anyone has a solution or explanation to my problem?
Thanks in advance

My first thought would be to try it with another wireless charger as it could easily be that charger you're using. If you don't know anyone that could loan you one, I guess you could find a seller with a liberal return policy, buy another one and if it does the same, return it. I'd almost bet another one will work.

Thanks for replying.
Miraculously after rebooting one more time the problem didnt exist anymore.
Tried charging 3 times and in all 3 times 100% was reached so probably something was wrong with the device psychology!
Sorry for reviving that old thread but I have a similar problem. Only difference is that my S10+ claims to be completely charged when on the wireless charger.
But as soon as I remove it from there, the charging level immediately drops to about 70 - 80%.
What's the most possible cause?
