FAQ:
1. Verizon carrier out of service
Here is step to solve
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-18-1-for-razer-phone-2.4288525/post-85228539
2. Can you update GPU OpenGL and Vulkan driver?
NO. Cause Razer used a modified a630 gpu firmware, Qualcomm generic new gl and vulkan can't compat with it. The only hope is Razer get revived and update stock rom so we can take it.
3. Can you fix resolution switch
NO. Razer kernel switch painful. Tried lot's of times and the only way to use 1080 is kill 2k and set 1080 as only one, same as the only 2k now

Enjoying the ROM. Thank you for your hard work Alcatraz323!
I noticed the feature Quick Tap to start actions prevented the CPU from deep sleep and caused excessive battery drain. Turning off the feature didn't seem to correct the issue until the phone was rebooted. Not sure if this is just a limitation of the feature.
I also noticed the CPU mhz min was set to 576 instead of 300 and wasn't sure if this was expected.
Also had a question. Is it possible for the 2nd cluster of CPU cores to park and go offline? It looks like they are online at their min 825mhz while cluster 1 idles. Wasn't sure if this was something RP2/PixelExperience could do.

QuickTap is from gapps, can't do anything from my side, you may ask Google to solve it.
As for the cpu related, every config is copied from Qualcomm or Razer, so it's expected

Hi Alcatraz, thank for this rom! I'm having issues with decoding latency while use moonlight to game stream on A13. On 12, decoding latency was low (around 15ms) and decoder was OMX.qcom.video.decoder.hevc. On A13 there is noticable decoding latency (up to 200ms) and the decoder is now c2.qti.hevc.encoder (see screenshot). Is this something you can help address? Anything other information I can provide to help troubleshoot?

That may take serveral version to optimize, too complicated for the codecs on rp2

Anyone having an issue with fast chargers? I have two original razer phone 2 chargers and every time i plug in the charger i constantly get the charging animation and sound as if i was unplugging and plugging in. This happens only with those chargers, it happens in safe mode and with new cables as well. No issues with 3rd party chargers but charges at normal speed. Anyone know about or have this issue?

I don't have the original charger, but with xiaomi 120w charger it activates fast charge and don't have the "plug and unplug issue"

is there a specific reason that full wipe before flashing from 12 to 13 is required? I dirty flash updated from 12+ to 13+ before reading this without wipe and everything SEEMS to be fine. Also is this build root compatible or not currently?

Fevax, do you think that is better this ROM or Resurrection Remix of Jesse I know that both are working together. I like more RR but I think maybe this will be more "stable" I know that isn't stable but I need to know what of both do you think is the one with the least bugs? Thank you so much for this fantastic work, I send you a message on FB (old message) because my english isn't so well and I know that you speak spanish too.

Oh it's okay, I saw that says "98% 16 minutes for complete charge" and I though that wasn't fast charging.
Incredible work so far Fevax!
Currently trying your 20161230 build and the improvements from yesterday's build are great - no crashes so far at all. I sideloaded gmscore, phonesky, googleloginservices, and googleservicesframework (which I took from @jesec's rom) to system/priv-app and it all seems to work fine with the stock gapps package. Packages are updating and I'm no longer getting any errors prompting for the framework to be installed.
So I guess I can confirm gapps to be working if you sideload those applications
Bugs:
> The SD can be read by certain apps for music and pictures, but cannot be read by file managers
> Headphone output is super quiet, phone speaker output is fine
> 3D rendering and general performance is mixed
> Otherwise, I can confirm that what you've listed above isn't working.
Interesting things:
> Enabling software buttons increased the framerate

agreed, and also like in RR 7.1.1 Youtube videos in 60FPS make the phone get really hot and battery drains incredibly fast. Also thoses videoa stutter or the image stop while sound continues.

BORETS ROM for Asus Zenfone 6 & Zenfone 5

I represent the modified stock firmware, based on the firmware 3.24.40.87 Zenfone 6 (Android 5.0), as well as Zenfone 2 / Zoom / Zenfone 3 ZS550KL (5.0, 6.0.1, 7.0) firmware. ROOT already integrated. Video review here:
Disclaimer: I remind you that everything you do on your fear and risk. I'm not responsible for the breakdown of devices, bricks caused by your own hands (well, my hands, too, it's true, software to kill iron is unlikely to come out)
How to install:1. Requires an unlocked bootloader and TWRP !!!
2. Install the firmware. Installation takes place quickly, about 1 minute. When installing the firmware, the most recent TWRP 3.0M5
Attention! The first start of the firmware after the wipes can reach 10-15 minutes.
Development is hard work. If you want to support not only beautiful words, my profile has information on how it can be done

Features:
0. Despite the fact that I tried to make firmware based on the most extreme firmware of android 5, where already the asus changed the theme engine and sawed out the possibility of changing the themes of the status bar and settings, I saved this opportunity!
1. Setup wizard, sound service, preset from Zenfone 2 and 3 (6.0.1, 7.0). In addition to the usual effects added "Pure" - when the headphones are inserted and "Outdoor" - for the external speaker. Asus Music the newest version 2.1.0.40, which modified to work on 5.0, in the code frameworks made the relevant edits, so that the asus music did not crash after every reboot of the phone, also from this player there is access to the equalizer (item Fine tuning) Sound in the headphones really cool
2. The kernel I modified with a lot of governors and optimizations, the Mass Storage mode, the fix of the stock core, which could not catch the network after the exit from the subway or cellars, fixes of the device hangs on charging, etc. Thanks @nheolinkin https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-5/general/share-discussion-users-problems-unlock-t3629739
3. Curtain almost in the style of Zenfone 3 Android 7.0 with the corresponding icons therefrom, also an increased grid of 5x4 titles, the Android system icon and debugging from ydb from android 7, the icon of the system's graphical interface from android 6.0.1, reduced the minimum possible number of items for quick settings (Not counting the first line of the quickbox-quickbox) from 8 to 5
4. Extended reboot menu with items for quick reboot, reboot into bootloader and recovery + at the bottom of setting sound modes
5. Added a response to the call by applying the phone to your ear (Settings- ZenMotion- click on the text "Motion gestures" - the menu will open and you will place the appropriate checkboxes there). It does not work very well, it is necessary to apply it quite sharply to the ear, but it does work nonetheless. During the incoming call, hold the phone in front of you in your hand, bent at the elbow and along the arc, without bending the elbow, bring to the ear, there will be a pick-up
6. Start the camera by double pressing the volume buttons when the phone is sleeping and the screen is not lit (Settings-Lock Screen-Current Camera)
7. Advanced adjustment of screenshots (disabling / enabling the sound of the shutter, the format of screenshots). In the main Settings menu item "Screenshot"
8. Updated a bunch of services and applications to the extreme firmware of zenfon 2 5.0 2.20.40.198 and something borrowed from its own sewing zenfon 2 on 6.0.1
9. The menu of the recent applications as in 6.0.1 (flat)
10. Due to the lack of space in the system partition, massive sawing was necessary. The first thing, demolished the Asus Mobile Manager. This is the main evil, android himself is able to clean and programs know whether to auto-start them or not. If you think that if the asus mobile manager writes that 10000 applications were stopped by the autorun manager, then it does not mean that they all started, in fact, 10-15 pieces, and the rest did not work without the manager. In general, this rubbish with advertising and pictures, which only harms and eats. You can not try to put it from the market, write that the device is not supported
11. App powersaver and the modes themselves took from zenfon 2 and something under our devices adapted. Unlike some incomprehensible modes, they actually change something to the zenophon 5 and 6, for example, when switching from the performance mode to the optimal illumination of the screen, the brightness (inoutdoor mode) is slightly reduced and the frequency drops to 1600 MHz. And, in general, it is better to always use a productive mode, oddly enough, the battery holds better.
12. Accelerated update of the davick cache and it takes up less memory, however, there may be performance sagging the first minutes after reboots.
13. Full support for Asus Flip Cover 2
14. I borrowed the brightness levels of the display from Zenphon 2 and added a few to reduce the minimum manual and auto brightness
15. Firmware already rooted, built-in SuperSu
16 Modified ZenUI Launcher with autorotate homescreen, smooth scaling, extra font sizes, extra dock bar
16. Other, I forgot already what I added
Current known issues :
1. Randomly turn on camera led after wake screen with double tap/press power button. For turn off led should lock/unlock screen again

-Fixed:
*** 1. Camera outage when taking photos
*** 2. Crash Gallery
*** 3. Flattened quick settings panel icons (replaced by others)
***4. Power saving modes (like the higher the maximum frequency does not drop to 1333 MHz)
- Decreased DPI by default from 320 to 300
- even deleted the application (Asus Backup, ShareLink, etc.), well, there is a catastrophic lack of space in the system partition

It is not my fault. It is facebook fault and your fault too. For correct facebook work you need use x86 versions! From Google Play facebook present to us ARM version here normal versions for x86 https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/facebook-2/facebook/variant-%7B%22arches_slug%22%3A%5B%22x86%22%5D%7D/

You can also use 'Swipe Navigation' from the play store. You can make it work by root so there's no need to speed down your phone by granting accessibility service.
I really love this app, only use it for back, home and recents. You can also set long press action.
(I use this app on fulmics ROM)
Can someone provide me with the md5 so I can check if my download is corrupted?
Thanks
Build 0630 has massively improved battery life over 0623!!
Hello and thank you for this great ROM. Been testing the latest build and except the known issues I have 2 weird behaviors:
1. Cstarck's 27 Gcam mod for the normal lens only works with hdr+ enchanced version. The normal hdr (witch has Zero Shutter Lag) doesn't work. It takes the photo but there is nothing saved. Also the same happens in portrait mode. The wideangle lens works in both modes as it should. Any thoughts?
2. Ok Google can't be used. The Google Assistant in Google app isn't the new version with "hey Google" option and when I launch the assistant I get this weird error. (Attached screenshot). Also when I enable the "access with voice match" option in smart Lock settings (voice match) the system doesn't allow to remain on and immidiately it turns off. Any thoughts?
Two minor ui issues:
- The padding on the status bar needs to be larger because the text gets too close to the curved corner of the screen. (See attachment)
-When the navigation bar height is changed the middle button stays the same size
NOTE: This is how the V30's Camera ID's are laid out. My normal lens app uses ID 0 and 1. My wide lens app uses ID 1 and 2.
Camera 0 "LENS_FACING_BACK"
Camera 1 "LENS_FACING_FRONT"
Camera 2 "LENS_FACING_BACK" (wide angle)

Nice update ! Stable ROM
is fast charge worrk ?
and deepsleep work too?
Hi gys, thanks for your job and sharing.
Is an OTA update available for this rom ?
wow you guys are fast!!! Downloading and installing
I promise after my first salary you guys deserve a donation. My Note 7 has a new life and now my Note 11 will be even better
Installation went well. Flashed twrp, then the rom with twrp, then reflashed twrp from itself. ROM works actually very well. Only bug is that always on display is well, always on, even during a whole night. Went to sleep with 49%, woke up with like 30%. So it doesn't turn off by itself
Other than that it seems to run pretty well, will keep you posted about potential bugs

I don't think so. It charges at regular speed, definitely not at "mi turbo charge" level. I use the stock charger
Can anyone confirm if this problem is with every rom or its just me/my device? Can't switch "USB controlled by", so no file transfer.

Strange, I charged from 16 to 81 in 43 mins, averages at 22W. Pretty sure it must've hit 30W somewhere in the beginning. Temperature plays a major role in charging speed. Devices don't cool as quick in summer and fast charging doesn't sustain at Max speed.

Yes, sometimes it charged fast, other times slow. There is a funny glitch where it says something like "battery full in 20,000 days" or something. Like you said, temperature is important and more sensitive in Project Elixir than MIUI I think. But it still charges pretty fast and I think it is good!
Also, the USB controlled by connected device doesn't work for me either, on the Note 7 and Note 11 too.
What does it do anyway? I never used it yet.
Look at the bottom my battery will be fully charged in 55 years.
Also, what's with the white borders shown in the top part? I just noticed them.
They are visible on the phone screen to, but ever so slightly.

I've been using battery guru and noticed the current dropping from its maximum rate after battery reaches 40°c. Anything below 40 works at its best, 33W at around 10-40% and gets slower as it goes up. As Xiaomi promised, 0-80 in an hour is guaranteed.
Haven't got the 20000 day to charge bug yet. MIUI prioritised charging speed over temperature. I'd rather slow charge to keep the battery at 40°. Heck MIUI runs hot by default compared to these ROMs, no wonder it has a higher cap for slowing down the charge. Don't quote me on this, i really hate how hot MIUI can get even in 2022.
About the USB, I wasn't able to access the device from my PC. Turns out, it was an issue with one specific ROM, which forced me to install buggy or corrupt adb drivers, which wouldn't let my device be recognised as a portable device in device manager. Despite that, the adb wasn't working. Uninstalling all the drivers and reconnecting the device let me transfer files now.

I dont blame you, MIUI loves to heat up when charging, I'd rather have slower but safer charging than MIUI's method. Good on Project Elixir's devs for adjusting that (if they did, not sure if it's firmware or kernel controlled or whatever). Because if they did then this is a very very smart thing and bravo to them. Maybe we could even have a toggle for it? Say if we prefer slower or fast charging. But if I want slow charging I can just use an iPhone charger lol.
Glad it works for you

There is a bug where if scrolling in certain apps like YouTube, there is massive lag, but the phone is very smooth otherwise. I tried restarting, not sure what I could try next
It also only happens periodically, dunno what's wrong but not a big deal, I don't scroll faster than I can read.
A few questions:
1. Does this ROM support unlimited google photos storage?
2. Does it support fast charging like the original MIUI?
3. Dialer announces call record?

1. Yes, Unlimited backup on Google photos is available.
2. For fast charging you can get a module if it's worth the risk .
3. I dunno I haven't tested yet

Are you using any mods? Mine barely goes above 6W .. I tried some modules but 48°C wasn't worth it

ok
flashed since 2 days with omnitrix and it works well. Sometimes or rarely, i have little freeze and lags but doesn't make the device unusable.
Basic customizations but essential to personalize a little the device.
I flash pixel launcher mods to have D2TS on launcher.
I will try new sushi launcher port soon.
Rom is smooth and BB is good. Charging is speed.
The rom is all i want.
Better with no lags or no freeze.
I tried logcat but each time i do it, no lags and no freeze
What version of OmniTrix are you using? I just tried this version that they shared in the telegram group and it works much better.
does this rom offer the free full resolution google photos backup (like pixel os)?

Because it has been removed temporarily
What are the installation instructions for coming from A12?
Been using version 5.2 since a little bit before 5.4 came out. Overall had no problems except bluetooth compatibility. I've been using my Sony WF-1000XM4 since a year ago with no problem on Pixel OS with the LDAC playback quality set to "Optimized for Audio Quality" through the Headphones app but for some reason in Pixel Extended I have to go through developer options every time and set it through that setting while also experiencing some heavy delays/cuts
Edit: Also for some reason I can't for the life of me find applock
I've been having some seriously bad issues with battery draining roughly 80-85% overnight on the 5.2 version.. that's about 8-9 hours from the time I go to bed until I wake up! I fully charge it before I go to sleep in case of an emergency or event that requires me to leave unexpectedly in the middle of the night. The culprit is Android system... I don't have any specific details, aside from what checking battery usage is through settings.. I'm not sure why this problem has just begun over a period of about a week... I've been using this ROM for about 3 weeks without any issues at all ! Battery life has been phenomenal until about 4 to 5 days ago ! I noticed a new version of the ROM on sourceforge, version 5.4 ? Does this update address the issues with Android system eating up the battery at */- 80% over an 8 -10 hour period of non use.. again, I charge it fully before I go to sleep and clear all the apps from memory every night before I go to sleep... This is almost like a ritual for me... Kind of like an OCD thing I do nightly.. any input would be great! I'll try and get a log cat for you the next time this occurs.. BTW, are there any apps that you would prefer a log from? Best wishes, I'm not *****in' , but merely trying to bring awareness.. I love this ROM and would hate to be forced to use any other.. The 5.4 version has addressed the battery issues! Thank you!

I've been on 5.5 for a few days and it's smokin'fast and smooth! Thank you for the quick updates! Send like the battery life is far better. I do have one concern that probably has nothing to do with this ROM, but it did appear in the playstore after having upgraded to the 5.5 version. From what I've read it seems this has been there all along as a part of all Android software. I've read several reviews and naturally there are so many trolls that made reviews that I don't know who to trust. I've attached a screenshot from the updates section. I will not update until I know that it's "truly safe" to do so. If it's not, I'll uninstall the darn thing. All of this aside, I would like to thank you for this great ROM and the super fast updates! Your work is greatly appreciated by myself and probably most other folks using it as well.

Google releases 'Private Compute Services' as an updatable app in the Play Store
After announcing "Private Compute Core" in May, Google followed that up with Private Compute Services" last month, and that component...

best rom i have used so far .
I used 5.4 until yesterday, the battery holds up well, so far I haven't found any complaints.
Did the OTA update to 5.5 in a few minutes this morning. This is my first rom with which I managed to do this without any problems.
If 5.5 will be better than 5.4, I'm the happiest man in the world
