ok

flashed since 2 days with omnitrix and it works well. Sometimes or rarely, i have little freeze and lags but doesn't make the device unusable.
Basic customizations but essential to personalize a little the device.
I flash pixel launcher mods to have D2TS on launcher.
I will try new sushi launcher port soon.
Rom is smooth and BB is good. Charging is speed.
The rom is all i want.
Better with no lags or no freeze.
I tried logcat but each time i do it, no lags and no freeze

What version of OmniTrix are you using? I just tried this version that they shared in the telegram group and it works much better.

does this rom offer the free full resolution google photos backup (like pixel os)?

Because it has been removed temporarily

What are the installation instructions for coming from A12?

Been using version 5.2 since a little bit before 5.4 came out. Overall had no problems except bluetooth compatibility. I've been using my Sony WF-1000XM4 since a year ago with no problem on Pixel OS with the LDAC playback quality set to "Optimized for Audio Quality" through the Headphones app but for some reason in Pixel Extended I have to go through developer options every time and set it through that setting while also experiencing some heavy delays/cuts
Edit: Also for some reason I can't for the life of me find applock

I've been having some seriously bad issues with battery draining roughly 80-85% overnight on the 5.2 version.. that's about 8-9 hours from the time I go to bed until I wake up! I fully charge it before I go to sleep in case of an emergency or event that requires me to leave unexpectedly in the middle of the night. The culprit is Android system... I don't have any specific details, aside from what checking battery usage is through settings.. I'm not sure why this problem has just begun over a period of about a week... I've been using this ROM for about 3 weeks without any issues at all ! Battery life has been phenomenal until about 4 to 5 days ago ! I noticed a new version of the ROM on sourceforge, version 5.4 ? Does this update address the issues with Android system eating up the battery at */- 80% over an 8 -10 hour period of non use.. again, I charge it fully before I go to sleep and clear all the apps from memory every night before I go to sleep... This is almost like a ritual for me... Kind of like an OCD thing I do nightly.. any input would be great! I'll try and get a log cat for you the next time this occurs.. BTW, are there any apps that you would prefer a log from? Best wishes, I'm not *****in' , but merely trying to bring awareness.. I love this ROM and would hate to be forced to use any other.. The 5.4 version has addressed the battery issues! Thank you!

I've been on 5.5 for a few days and it's smokin'fast and smooth! Thank you for the quick updates! Send like the battery life is far better. I do have one concern that probably has nothing to do with this ROM, but it did appear in the playstore after having upgraded to the 5.5 version. From what I've read it seems this has been there all along as a part of all Android software. I've read several reviews and naturally there are so many trolls that made reviews that I don't know who to trust. I've attached a screenshot from the updates section. I will not update until I know that it's "truly safe" to do so. If it's not, I'll uninstall the darn thing. All of this aside, I would like to thank you for this great ROM and the super fast updates! Your work is greatly appreciated by myself and probably most other folks using it as well.

best rom i have used so far .
I used 5.4 until yesterday, the battery holds up well, so far I haven't found any complaints.
Did the OTA update to 5.5 in a few minutes this morning. This is my first rom with which I managed to do this without any problems.
If 5.5 will be better than 5.4, I'm the happiest man in the world

I remember using this on my old Sony devices.
A new ROM is always welcome. I used it well on my N4.

Should work, but it's recommended to flash stock first. But you can do that in one flash. So when you're in TWRP, flash the stock zip, and flash Carbon right afterwards without a reboot or anything.

We do not actively workaround SafetyNet due to various reasons. LineageOS has a well written explanation here.
If you want SafetyNet I recommend checking out solutions like Magisk or various custom kernels with "SafetyNet patches".
I can confirm Safetynet passing when you use MagiskHide Props config module:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/module-magiskhide-props-config-t3789228
You gotta change the fingerprint with props -f command
I installed this ROM today, first I tried LineageOs bit I got force close message with opengapps. With this ROM everything is fine and I just setup everything with no problems or glitches as of yet. So it looks great to me. Wil report back later
Everything is great so far. The stand by drain is also good 4% overnight.
One issue is that Network Traffic Indicator is not working, it's there but display 0.00kb/s
It would be great if the rom allow display calibration like DCI-P3 and vibration motor adjustment

I have been using it now for a couple of days. A few things I have noticed:
- The Mobile/data icon constantly keeps switching between LTE/LTE+. I tried changing the icon to 4G but then it keeps flipping between 4G/4G+. Also the signal icon is never full. For example in my room on the top floor I always had full signal bar with OOS
- Battery drain seems to go a little faster then OOS, any tips to improve this?
- I tried paying with my phone/bank app/nfc chip at local supermarket and it did not work.. It worked on OOS/magisk/usb debug disabled..
Is there a change to get OOS camera or anyone have a good working google camera app?

LTE+ and LTE are different modes. LTE+ means "LTE Advanced" which allows for carrier aggregation (see Wikipedia). I believe OxygenOS is not showing the + by default (Android allows to configure that internally). As for stength, it might be worth checking the actual db values as theres a few carrier know for cheating at the shown signal strength. Those cheats are "disabled" in AOSP.
Battery: So far reports all deliver an improvement or even experience with Oxygen. It might take a few cycles to "settle in".
Paying: The miracles of SafetyNet. I'm not familiar with the whole Google Pay stuff so I can't help you there unfortunately.
There are a few OxygenOS camera APKs you can install that work fine. Also all @Arnova8G2 GCam builds are fine.
I knew LTE/LTE+ are 2 different modes. But your story doenst explain why it keeps flipping from LTE to LTE+. Everywhere I am, walking trough the city, in the park, near the train station or at home it keeps switching from LTE to LTE+. Every 2 to about 10 seconds or so. This results in constantly moving icons in the top status bar which is pretty annoying. Also it doesn't make sense it would switch between the different modes so much right?
How do I check the db values and what are db values?
I've been using the first Pax build (STABLE) and just updated! Great battery! (I swapped kernel cause ViPER4Android)
There was a conflict with ViPER BT (not processing after about 5 seconds) however, kernel in 5/6 may yield stable results, we'll def find out.
kernel adjusting automatically. very stable; low load avg.
Spectacular CarbonROM, Thanks Myself5 I'll continue with the included kernel for a Carbon experience!
Amazing ROM, first time user and loving it. Thanks for such a hard work!
I'm using with MinMicroG and works like perfect, amazing battery life.
Would like to know some issue, in settings, Spoof package signature is available but I can't see, for playstore/fakestore! Why is that?
i want to try this rom. can anyone give me correct steps for installing...would be much help.??
usb file transer not working for me thanks for the rom

Just did it correctly yesterday, for one day usage i could tell that this seems to be most fluid rom for me despite a lot of customisations, fingerprint for me works well if light is cyan... Works just like it did on miui mutch-less .... Only parts of the system i could wish to be better are battery and charging optimisation.... Is there anyway to improve that? I mean implement miui charge and play with background tasks a bit ?
Overall best rom out there for me personally....

As you know, MIUI turbo charge is based on closed-source QC3, so no way to get 30W charging... But better to have 18W, It doesn't harm too much the battery.
About optimization, i'm working to reduce active drains changing some implementations (my first build for internal testing before this one drained a lot more of battery, remembered me a Galaxy S6, but with time hope Will get better).
My tip for now is to use Franco Kernel Manager and change little governor to powersave, with min freq ~700 MHz, improves the battery life

Im using smartpack with min Freq of cpu at 300 for both big and little cores... It really save standby drain but its only in deep sleep. Even if it's set to 300 that doesn't mean that it will stay there when it's not in deep sleep so , my thinking is that it would be great to reduce required time to enter into that mode... You know a lot already trust me.. we have been waiting for rom till about 2-3 weeks so you guys really helped us and thanks for that... About qc3 i have noticed that sometimes when i plug in the phone it goes to 3000 mah for a 10-15 secs and then revert back to 18w 2000 mah that's why i assumed that it is possible indeed. Looking at charger specifications it doesn't look like qc3, more like miui custom solution
Edit: my govs are schedutil instead of powersave

Nice update ! Stable ROM
is fast charge worrk ?
and deepsleep work too?
Hi gys, thanks for your job and sharing.
Is an OTA update available for this rom ?
wow you guys are fast!!! Downloading and installing
I promise after my first salary you guys deserve a donation. My Note 7 has a new life and now my Note 11 will be even better
Installation went well. Flashed twrp, then the rom with twrp, then reflashed twrp from itself. ROM works actually very well. Only bug is that always on display is well, always on, even during a whole night. Went to sleep with 49%, woke up with like 30%. So it doesn't turn off by itself
Other than that it seems to run pretty well, will keep you posted about potential bugs

I don't think so. It charges at regular speed, definitely not at "mi turbo charge" level. I use the stock charger
Can anyone confirm if this problem is with every rom or its just me/my device? Can't switch "USB controlled by", so no file transfer.

Strange, I charged from 16 to 81 in 43 mins, averages at 22W. Pretty sure it must've hit 30W somewhere in the beginning. Temperature plays a major role in charging speed. Devices don't cool as quick in summer and fast charging doesn't sustain at Max speed.

Yes, sometimes it charged fast, other times slow. There is a funny glitch where it says something like "battery full in 20,000 days" or something. Like you said, temperature is important and more sensitive in Project Elixir than MIUI I think. But it still charges pretty fast and I think it is good!
Also, the USB controlled by connected device doesn't work for me either, on the Note 7 and Note 11 too.
What does it do anyway? I never used it yet.
Look at the bottom my battery will be fully charged in 55 years.
Also, what's with the white borders shown in the top part? I just noticed them.
They are visible on the phone screen to, but ever so slightly.

I've been using battery guru and noticed the current dropping from its maximum rate after battery reaches 40°c. Anything below 40 works at its best, 33W at around 10-40% and gets slower as it goes up. As Xiaomi promised, 0-80 in an hour is guaranteed.
Haven't got the 20000 day to charge bug yet. MIUI prioritised charging speed over temperature. I'd rather slow charge to keep the battery at 40°. Heck MIUI runs hot by default compared to these ROMs, no wonder it has a higher cap for slowing down the charge. Don't quote me on this, i really hate how hot MIUI can get even in 2022.
About the USB, I wasn't able to access the device from my PC. Turns out, it was an issue with one specific ROM, which forced me to install buggy or corrupt adb drivers, which wouldn't let my device be recognised as a portable device in device manager. Despite that, the adb wasn't working. Uninstalling all the drivers and reconnecting the device let me transfer files now.

I dont blame you, MIUI loves to heat up when charging, I'd rather have slower but safer charging than MIUI's method. Good on Project Elixir's devs for adjusting that (if they did, not sure if it's firmware or kernel controlled or whatever). Because if they did then this is a very very smart thing and bravo to them. Maybe we could even have a toggle for it? Say if we prefer slower or fast charging. But if I want slow charging I can just use an iPhone charger lol.
Glad it works for you
Finally the thread reopened.

can u check widevine level??
i use netflix so it is important to me
says L1 for me. Banking apps work.
There is a bug where if scrolling in certain apps like YouTube, there is massive lag, but the phone is very smooth otherwise. I tried restarting, not sure what I could try next
It also only happens periodically, dunno what's wrong but not a big deal, I don't scroll faster than I can read.
A few questions:
1. Does this ROM support unlimited google photos storage?
2. Does it support fast charging like the original MIUI?
3. Dialer announces call record?

1. Yes, Unlimited backup on Google photos is available.
2. For fast charging you can get a module if it's worth the risk .
3. I dunno I haven't tested yet

I flashed this ROM with no real issues - I didn't use the TWRP Recovery suggested, but the latest version of OrangeFox and everything seemed to work fine (although I have noticed when returning to OF Recovery, it says something about "failed to mount" when I try to wipe cache & dalvik)
When I long press on the Home screen to access Launcher settings, and then select Developer options, it reports that QuickStep crashed & returns me to the Home screen.
I'm guessing I can't change the Home screen grid size? Can't get rid of that hideous Google Search bar? And can't get rid of that annoying wide 'pill' thing at the bottom of the screen? If I use a custom Launcher, presumably I lose my system wide gesture navigation?
The screen magnification seems rather large, even on its 'smallest' setting.
So far, apart from the above, everything seems to be working well & fast.

Dirty flashing is ONLY suggested for a weekly trivial update on the same ROM. Changing ROMs, and API level in this case, it is unfathomable to expect to have a working phone with a dirty flash. Even if it boots, which it probably won't, as in your case, the end result will certainly not be what it is supposed to be. You'll end up with a lagfest and apps closing, and then blame it on the ROM...
So , yes, it is normal that your phone won't boot.. Clean flash, formating data by typing "yes" and using the latest beta recovery is the way to go in order to have the latest Android a couple of weeks after Google releases it. We've come a long way... Porting used to take 6 months...
Nice custom rom. Really smooth with good bb. No deep sleep bug while bluetooth on.
The only rom where volte and vowifi works out of the box without problems (germany)
Haven't found heavy bugs while one day of using. Excelent. Keep going!
EDIT: After a while "camera lost connection error". Only reboot helps to solve the issues
I'm also seeing some camera issues. Opening the stock camera app sometimes results in a "can't connect to camera" error. If I dismiss the camera app & reopen it, I then see a camera image but it's frozen, dismiss & reopen, it's an updated image but frozen again. It takes several attempts to get a working camera image.
Also, I seem to be having trouble updating apps (possibly only Google apps?) in the Playstore - the downloads get stuck at various X% and I have to cancel & try again multiple times (it's not my internet which is working fine). I've tried clearing Playstore cache & data, but it hasn't helped.
i can confirm the camera issues. happened with elixir os as well, but with arrowOS it seems less frequent
I also had this camera issue both in arrow 11 and 12 but it almost never happens in arrow 12
Also can someone tell me how this rom preforms? (bugs, fluidity, battery life, etc)
Im currently using arrow os 12 and it is pretty good so i was wondering if i could update it to 13 now or wait for a more stable release

I've found this ROM to be remarkably smooth, fluid & stable. Although I admit I haven't used my Redmi Note 7 much as it's now a 'backup' phone. But anytime I've picked up the handset with this ROM on, it's been working fine.
There are obviously a few camera issues, but they don't seem to occur that often.
I'm still a little unsure about battery life - at first it seemed fine, but lately I've started noticing that when the phone has simply been left on standby all day (no active use) that by the end of the day it's down from 100% to say 30% which seems rather excessive for being on standby (handset isn't warm at all though).
Hi there,
I want to try this ROM, but I would prefer to install it without GApps. Is it possible to upload a Vanilla Version of it, so I can use MicroG instead of GApps?

Oh i see, i would like to hear from more people their opinion on the battery life because i still use it as my only phone and so it is pretty important to me. Thanks tho
(Also, could it be that you left the bluetooth on? I read that some android 12 roms had problems with the deep sleep while the bluetooth was on, i dont know if it could be the case)
I checked my RedmiNote7 before going to bed last night. It was at 84% battery & Bluetooth/WiFi/4G data were all off (GPS location service was on). The phone was not plugged in to charge. Approximately 8hrs later when I woke up (so the phone wasn't even touched all night) the battery was down to approx. 48%
The GSam battery info (screenshot attached) seems to indicate this is all down to Kernel & Android System (the handset wasn't warm).
There doesn't seem to be a lot happening here. Is anyone, besides myself, actually using this ROM? Is it being maintained or is the initial release the only release?
for me most of the things work perfectly, only the gcam doesn't work, the battery consumption even pleasantly surprised me
It is still in early developement stage at official channels - I think it will finally come to lavender officially (13.0)
This is the best rom for lavender. The battery stats are impressive, I don't know how they managed it. It's a pity that the camera does not work. Please, fix. I would really appreciate it

Hey another day another rom, that's what you might be thinking. but we at stag aim towards elegance. We are learners just like everyone out there, This is small project we have started which helps us learn every single day. Why Stag, you might question, my answer would be why not. After all Harry's patronus was a stag(pun intended). After having a couple of iterations, we still intend to stick to our roots, and keep refining what we have. With Android 13, Stag would still be aiming at an elegantly beautiful close to stock experience, that satisfies just the features and customisations you'd crave for (nothing more, nothing less), at the same time being blazing fast and silky smooth. You'll have to try it to believe it .
~Sic Parvis Magna~
PS: for people wondering what sic parvis magna is, it translates to great endings from small beginnings, Something i picked up while playing a game.

This is a very initial stage build, bugs are to be expected. Although so far in testing we did not find anything major and you will be flashing the build of your own accord.
I am planning to have super frequent releases of A13 beta, and soon it will be the stag you know and love (it's super stable already)

Changelog - 24042023
Bonjour, A long time due update is finally out. The march update by google was a huge pain, I had to completely re work the source and had a lot of personal issues. Hence I had to skip march release, and are soo late into april as well. I'll really try my best to provide all further updates on time (or much ahead). With all the rambling aside, this update will not look much, but trust me someone once said: "it's not what's on the outside that matters, it's what's on the inside that does". And inside the source there have been a tremendous amount of changes and people who tested the build are in love with it, so what exactly does it bring to plate ? Read on:
Device Specific
1. Updated to April Firmware
2. Some Unsupported regions (India) should have 5g working now.
3. Enabled CLO boost framework, makes the device much smoother.
4. Now Playing works just like on pixel (even on lockscreen)
Source
1. Feb -> April patch. We are on the latest patch by google, CTS passes OOTB!
2. One downgrade is the removal of battery styles, they will be right with you by may release.
3. We revamped the Recents UI slightly, looks more like OOS now.
4. A very small touch is the addition of clear all sound, I personally find it very satisfying. The swoosh that OOS clear all makes, now Stag does too, you'll absolutely love it.
5. Added a feature called re-ticker. For anyone who's used a samsung phone might be able to relate. It's a OneUI style pill shaped notification.
6. Added notification clear all button styles
7. Finally App Lock and hide apps from launcher, super helpful features!!
8. Revamped resolution selector
9. A new settings UI (can be enabled with a toggle)
That's about all I have on the feature front, but you'll be lost scrolling and using the latest and greatest of Stag.
Until next time.
Spoiler: Old Changelogs
Changelog - 28022023
Hola people, Hope you have been loving the previous stag release, I have heard feedback, and there's some serious changes in this build! Keep reading to find out. LTO
Build is based on February Security patch by the way and passes CTS out of the box .
Changes
1. In continuation to last build, we have done major launcher re work, I could write a complete changelog just stating the launcher changes itself, but I'll leave it to you guys to figure it out.
2. A few notable changes, revamped recents menu, added memory info to recents. Shhh.. No more spoiling.
3. We now build using Global ThinLTO. Keeping it simple, it means that performance will go vrooom.
4. Now you have chance to use the updated security menu in settings straight from pixel (only on GAPPS builds)
5. This is a hot cake, now you can choose which side you want your volume panel in landscape as well. I understand some people find it comfortable on the right on landscape, this one's for you.
6. Like QPR2? Me too, hence now we have the QS panel from QPR2, nothing major, just a very smooth and soothing clock expand animation.
7. Not everyone is a fan of two column layout of QS Tiles, we now have added row and column count customisation, along with being able to hide labels!!!
8. Now you can also hide if you don't want to see your daily data usage, hide that guilt XD.
9. Added music pulse. NavBar/lockscreen/ambient music visualiser.
10. Also added edge light for notification.
11. Added support for toggling status bar icons.
12. As a consequence of above, a dynamic VoLTE, and a VoWiFi icon implementation which can be turned off!
13. Added a fix to IMS, which avoids showing carrier name under internet tile twice, for example, "JIO - Jio".
14. A lot of under the hood performance and visual improvements, to make sure that stag flies hehe!!
This is a decent sized feature update, and I'm positive you guys will more than love it.
Looking forward to your responses
Until next time!
Changelog - 12022023
Hey guys, February's here and as owners of Pixels it would suck not being able to have February patch already don't you agree? So this here is a very quick update with a small but very useful changes and of course with February patch
Fixes
1. Safety Net/CTS/Integrity passes directly without having to root or flash any module (only for gapps build), enjoy as good as stock experience with this too.
2. Now you can successfully update play updates from security settings (which used to fail till previous build)
3. Fixed some rare cases where screenshot crashes
Changelog
1. February security patch
2. Added Fingerprint icon and animation customisations (it's super fun)
3. Moved to aosp launcher in gapps build as well, no more hassle of pixel launcher. You feel a feature is missing, just ping me and you'll find it in the next release .
4. Added a toggle to enable unlimited photos storage (use at your own risk)
5. Added a toggle to spoof games allowing higher refresh rates (yes we rock!)
6. Updated blobs from pixel February update
There's a lot more features in line and you are going to love them!!
We'll have another release soon and in the meantime you would love all the goodness this build brings!!
Cheers and Regards

Man I wish I could try the ROM but I think you are trolling us all with Sourceforge, the slowest hosting service ever lol
Hey @pranavasri thank you for this ROM for our Pixel 7. I just installed it, but I was wondering, how to we get Magisk working on it? Sorry if it's a dumb question, this is my first Pixel phone.
Edit: Nevermind, I used PixelFlasher and got Magisk on it and working.
4 hours to download a rom... Looks like dev doesn't car eiether

Took me about 30 minutes to download. It might have took so long to download because of the server SF chose for you

Sadly we have been using it for quite some time. What I can suggest is
If you are on linux, try downloading using aria2c
or on windows XDM or IDM, they will give you real great download speeds. We do not have many storage options avaialable and neither a storage server, this is the best we could use for uploading files without having to pay.

What server did it choose for you? Mine was San Diego, California, US, and I had no other servers to choose from. The download took around 2.5 hours. Speed was really slow, avg. 600 kbps. I'm from Texas, but I don't think it should be this slow, although I'm not very knowledgeable about these kinds of things.
Yeah, it seems like the file replication on SourceForge didn't work for the latest upload. The only download option is the official SourceForge server in California. Even with JDownloader, it was capping at two threads maxing out at 300kb/s, and this is on a symmetrical 2gbps fiber line. I do know SourceForge had some issues the past couple of days, so it may just be something we need to wait on before it's in better shape. Usually have no issues with files hosted on SF.
Any chance you would be willing to post the MD5s for your builds so we can verify they are in good shape before flashing? With these download issues I am a little hesitant to try flashing without confirming the download is intact.
