since i got my s3 i wished and waited for a camera mod not a usual mod but a very Specific one for camera pro. when using the flash in photo the temperature is a bit Cold if it was alittte warm it would be perfect ii am attaching a pic before and after adding some warm temp, hope u got It.
Hello everyone. There is a developer named cstark27 in the xda forums. He has one LG V30 whose camera configuration is same as Moto X4 (having a wide angle setup). He's in active development of porting the GCAM to the normal as well as LG's wide-angle mobile.
So I would like everyone to request him (cstark 27) to develop a port for us (especially for the wide angle setup) this will help us to utilize our camera in a much better manner.
Also, mention him that our front camera just reads 4MP with all the ports of GCAM. It will be really awesome if we can utilize the 16MP option.

That's fine but it needs rooting right? I don't wanna root my mobile coz unlike xiaomi mobiles I can easily loose my warranty

As for the wide angle setup thing.. Come on.. who told you that the V30 and X4 have the same configuration? Just because they both have wide angle lens doesn't mean the hardware and configuration is similar. As for the GCam using 4MP only on the front camera... it is due to the fact that Motorola made this the default mode so the sensor size will increase to a very large 2 micron pixel. Hence, better in low/indoor lighting.
Better request Arnova instead of cstark27 because his work is more compatible to our phone.

Oh sorry, I know root isn't required. However as far as I know there's no Gcam port currently working with the wide angle lens of the Moto x4 but if you have found one that's great. I think the main request of this thread is to have a port that works with the wide angle and czstark is the one who brought it to the LG G6 and V30 if I understand everything correctly!

lenses made by Leica but camera module? i think Huawei as all best cameraphones uses Sony imx camera modules.

P20 pro
- 40mp 1/1.7” sensor size by Sony IMX 600
- 1um pixel size at 40mp, but after pixel binning using 10mp resolution, it becomes 2um big pixel size.

Usually camera modules for Huawei made by several vendors like Lite-On, Omni-Vision and etc. At the same smartphone you can find one of them. Depends of logistics, stock availability and other reasons. Most sensors inside these modules are made by Sony (IMX XXX). I've seen a lot of internal docs of Huawei camera modules and I can say that there are nothing inside from Leica there. Even lens made by LARGAN or other oem vendor. Hello everybody!
I have just got a new A80 just to see how the camera would perform, especially the wide-angle lens. It was super disappointing.. So I went on the internet to install gcam and I got good results. However, I didn't see a single way to get the wide-angle camera work without rooting the device. The question is;
Is there any GCAM version that can enable the wide-angle lens without rooting on the Samsung Galaxy A80?
Please bear in mind that I must have tried over 30 different versions that have been made for generic use and/or model specific uses for different devices. Even tho those apk's can enable the wide-angle lens for different devices, they did not do that for A80.
I hope there can be somebody with an answer here. Thanks in advance.
As we all know the POCO X2 has one of the best sensor i.e. IMX686 for its main shooter but the jpg conversation algorithm of stock camera is not upto the mark. Stock cam images are slightly over saturated, Little bit warm in tint, and when you zoom in; the details of textures looks like oil painted and not that much accurate and sharp to the edges. Though its completely software dependant thing so can be improved.
Also front camera of POCO X2 is not upto the mark its having f2.2 aperture, due to which details and textures capturing is just average in selfies .
To enhance the camera performance of POCO X2 to get full advantage of IMX686 we can use GCam. As the GCam is modified application for few perticular devices it's hard to find the perfectly working gcam port for our device. (Though as per my observation on several popular smartphones, GCam ports works best on Nokia smartphones the condition is you should have to search a lot for perfect mode.)
For POCO X2 as per posted on Gcam Port Hub there are multiple working GCams available; but the problem is final image production from those modes are different, some are over sharpen, some are to soften, some looks too artificial, some are very good but poor in capturing details, some are good at low-light and some at daylight.
So as i tried gcam ports of almost all top developers on POCO X2; here are some of the versions that i found good in major aspects.
