Question moto g50 g5 xt2149-1 - Moto G50

Dear All, Today I had a problem installing the firmware on my computer.- I think I executed some commands wrong and the computer now doesn't turn on or ADB recognizes me, to install the firmware again, is there a solution to force my computer to recognize the phone to correct it? I would appreciate your help for this problem and thank you very much.-

Help on htc one (M7)(GSM) revive from hard bricked state

my htc one (M7) (GSM) got hard bricked on its own (i never rooted it or anything), it shows up as QHSUSBDLOAD or something in the device manager in windows 8.1
i found this link to revive my phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2770684
I am a total noob and i know nothing about rooting or flashing roms or anything for that matter (i just think my phone is hard bricked because someone told me if it comes up as QHSUSBDLOAD in the dev manager, it means it is hard bricked). There is no response if i hold the power button, or the power and volume buttons under a bright light or not under a bright light, i tried charging it continuously for 5 days, nothing happened, LED is not flashing. Only when i connect it to windows via a usb cable, it recognised it as an unknown device, when i updated the driver, it showed QHSUSBDLOAD.
This link (same as above): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2770684
worked for many people. i'm a noob so can anyone please elaborate and give me a full detailed process on how to go about it. Again, i never ever rooted my phone.
And its out of the warranty period, and i dont really know what a jtag box is, but i heard it involves opening up your phone, and i really dont wanna do that. But, if theres a method of using jtag via a usb cable and reviving my phone without opening it up, then plz tell me that too.
otherwise, just elaborate on the same link ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2770684)
and explain it to me like u would to a noob.
THANK YOU!!!!
Any help is appreciated.

First line of the guide:
This will fix devices which were bricked due to firmware incompatibility. This can be caused with the way HTC handles the firmware updates in it's m7's OTAs. If you've been flashing from a 3.x firmware to a 5.x firmware via OTA, or manually, you most likely have a device stuck in QHSUSB_DLOAD. This tool is for you

Doesnt apply to your situation:

Device entering QHSUSB DLOAD mode by themselves are usually devices with hardware problem and this guide won't fix anything. You'll probably have to replace the motherboard of your phone. You should however give this guide a try just to confirm its indeed an hardware problem. Just follow steps by steps and ask questions when you are stuck.

thanks for the reply.
First of all, i don't know what all this is:
the appropriate package for the device
fastboot
distro utils: md5sum, strings, tail, grep, unzip ( all included in most linux distros)
some basic linux experience
root access on a linux machine
I've never touched Linux EVER. Only thing i know is that it's an operating system.
IF you have the time, can u please tell me:
1) ''which version'' of Linux i should install (is it 64 bit and 32 bit too?)
2) from where should i install it
3) how should i install it
4) what Ubuntu is. is it some form of linux. Can it be used in this case? If yes, then how?
5) what fastboot, distro utils, root access on linux means.
6) can linux be installed side by side on my windows pc along with the windows i already have? then how?
7) what all this means-
Boot the linux box and download the appropriate package for the device.
Remove the sim card from the phone. Do not connect yet
Extract the package in your working directory
Open up a terminal and cd to that directory
Run revive.sh as root and connect the device
Code:
sudo ./revive.sh
( i mean, i know how to remove the sim card, but whats a linux box?, how do you extract the package?, how to open u a terminal, what is a terminal?, how to open up a cd to that directory, which cd? how to "run revive .sh as root", what the code sudo ./revive.sh means and how and where do i use it?)
Thank You.
BTW, is there any way to tell for sure whether my problem is in the hardware or in the software?

Reflashing back to Stock

So I don't know if its already been made for Sony Xperia Z1, Currently on CM12.1 and cannot flash back to Stock main reason is for some reason my USB isn't reading the USB Debugging on CM12.1 ADB Debugging.
I was wondering if anyone can help Windows is giving me the Cannot recognize device problem. I uninstalled all of the Usb drivers and reinstalled them still having same issues. I was wondering if there is a need to modify the .ini file for ADB.
If anyone can answer me that would be great.
P.S I'm still new to this sorry for my noobness
PSS I was an idiot it works fine.... Solved

Bricked device and totally lost :(

I'm having a lot of trouble with a device and I'd like to share with you guys and try to come to a solution for it.
I have a XT1068 that got its battery depleted during the flash of a stock rom, with the stock bootloader and everything. I've been looking for information and it really looks like a bootloader brick, or so I've been thinking of it and by that the phone doesn't give not even a sign of life. The only thing that if gives is that plugging it into USB charger the led turns on for two minutes or less. When connected to the computer, device is only recognized after led turns off and being read first as QHSUSB_BULK and Qualcomm right after it.
Looking for tutorials on the Web I've found motoflasher and blankflash,
I've found out that motoflasher does the same as blankflash, but in a more intuitive way, I've found out a solution for XT1032, but I think that it works for XT1068. Problem is I think that it can't be done after the bootloader was already updated for 5.x, I can't find a qboot.exe that is compatible with 5.x bootloader. If someone also got stuck and got rid of it please help me, I'm desperate for a solution of it.
I've also got a XT1038 that works perfectly with 5.1, I'd like to know if there is a way of backing up my bootloader for use in this another device.
Thanks for everything and sorry for my English, I'm Brazilian and Portuguese is my main language.
wrong forum this is moto g 2014 2nd gen XT1063/4/8/9
try link below

I'm sorry, my autocorrect changed the device name. It is indeed a XT1068.

dont think there is a fix for xt1068 ,
theres a fix for xt1032 I believe if still on kitkat boot loader
sure i seen reports that if this happens to xt1068 theres no fix except service center who replace motherboard - but please check my info is from months ago
I have a similar situation with my XT1063. I can enter on bootloader and recovery and even boot normally to system but I get Forcé Close to EVERITHING so the phone is useless. And when I try to flash another ROM vía recovery or adb or fastboot there are a error por fail. So I am not able to change my recovery, restore a backup , flash new ROM (even the stock one 5.0.2) or anything. I read also all the thing about OP's driver solución (qboot) but my pc recognice my phone by xt1063...
Sent from my Optimus 4X HD using XDA Free mobile app
i'm on the same boat. Hopping on it
the qboot thing is gen 1 on kitkat bootloader - so wont work on gen 2
the cant flash recovery / rom thing is corrupted emmc (either file system or just bad)
both still no further advance -sorry guys........

Green LED and brick Moto X xt1058

Hi guys, I made my Moto X hard brick different this time, had the android 5.1.1 installed by official update, but was having trouble, I tried to reinstall the android 5.0 obviously had problems with gpt_bin to be a more current version. I could solve the problem by placing the gpt_bin android 5.1.1 Nextel in rom android 5.0 I own after I update it again for the OTA update, putting the update file on the device's internal memory as it had done in the dowload PC and did not want to download again. He began updating normally, then had black screen and not called again. Dont charging, does not come into fastboot, the computer does not detect as Qualcomm drive. He led a green as I plug in the charger, so does when connected to the computer, the LED is lit for a few second and a off, windows recognizes it and disconnects in seconds. I do not know what to do, I could already solve the hard brick when computer aindao recognized as Qualcommm driver before, but this time is different.
My problem is the same as this guy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/moto-x-qa/moto-x-doesnt-power-green-led-charging-t3109905
I hope you can help me, excuse me for english

[XT1068] Device hard bricked, please help me!

Hi guys, i really need help. I was trying to upgrade my XT1068 to marshmallow and i've flashed a file that bricked my device and now it doesn't initiate. At first, when i plugged in the phone to my PC, it was recognized as "qhsusb_bulk" but now my PC doesn't recognize my phone when i plug it in. On device manager appears: "Unknown device (device request descriptor failed)"
What can i do?? i am desperate
please answer me!!
EDIT: Sorry for bad english, it's not my native language
Sorry to hear that. Welcom to the ever growing BRICK CLUB! I don't think there is an answer to our problem at the moment. The main problem seems to be downgrading the bootloader which is what bricks the phone. We need certain files that Motorola won't release. So until then there is no answer or solution. I ended up buying a new phone...
