These kernels all run at 1ghz do not use setcpu or profiles!
additions include- voodoo sound♫, voodoo color and has ext4 optimizations (thanks supercurio)
benchmarks in quadrant will be 600+ over the 'stock' kernel owing to the ext4 mount mod

instructions flash rom-reboot-then flash kernel
*note- if you haven't flashed any other kernels then just flash from recovery as long as you have rebooted at least once
*setcpu is not recommended for this kernel, underclocking/profiles will decrease battery life
**(stock rom)..if you are not coming from a stock kernel then go to system/etc/init.d and delete
([ S_10mountfix ] and [ S_99complete ] for morfic) and ([99nexusunit] and [placeholder] for netarchy) then go to system/ and delete the modules folder. then flash og kernel
note- all kernels have ext4 mount mod, voodoo sound, and bln

I would try this kernel tomorrow with the next Nightly...
Will i have to do more as flashing the next nightly and then this kernel to get ext4?

the ext4 "mount" hack is included with this kernel. flash rom - reboot - then flash this kernel
if you want to see the speed difference from the ext4 hack in the kernel run some quadrants first, then flash the kernel from recovery
the sd-card ext4 mod (different) can be very dangerous if you don't know what you are doing so I don't recommend it
Is putting the smartass governor in this out of the question?

Just trying to make Everyone Happy as all I keep hearing is Lagfix Lagfix... I only Use JFS on Data though.. I don't see the need to use anything else honestly..
I agree with you, JFS is a tried and true low-overhead file-system.
i got insanely goot battery w/ EB-Productions Kernel #2.
I wonder what the battery life is like on the A7/A8 kernels. i might have to try them out. (right now running TW kernel though, I love the work of both TW and eugene).

Works great Eugene, thank you. Just a heads up - the external sd mounts as a protected cd drive and you are unable to copy to and from your computer. I'm using kernel A8.

If you not using Macnut R12 likely will Happen... You have to edit the Vold.fstab to fix it..
Regarding OC / UV..
A7 & A8 is not OC nor UV.. I am however Working on those currently.. Easy enough to do..
would it be possible to add a no-RFS advanced EXT2 option?

I could be wrong but I don't think Eugene plans to add lagfix options to this kernel. The advanced lagfix options are ported from the ULF Galaxy S kernel. But like I said I could be wrong...
One bug I noticed with this kernel is if performing a backup with ROM manager or any time you reboot from recovery, the phone just hangs on Galaxy S splash screen with no activity. It boots right up after a battery pull though.

I noticed that too. A10 link is still A9
i flash A8 and erase internal sd now im receiving a system data full and i lost all my paid apps that were installed on the phone. just to be sure,now i have to use odin back to sock and start all over again right?

been running honity for a little now. not a single issue to report. the kernel benches great(1400/1400), 3911 on quad, 62.1fps on nenamark, and a 35777 on an3dbench. and it runs just as good as it benches!

Back Light Notifications, I believe.
Just a kernel addition that allowed the back button (?) to flash on and off when you have a notification since the Nexus S / Galaxy S phones lack a notification LED.

FFC works, but I have t959v camera and the image is 90 degrees rotated. Do you know if this can be corrected. Thank you.

i correct myself....recording video with ffc is fine, but playback is a screwed up.
Love the smoothness on this kernel. Using the SmartAssV2 and my vibrant is running like a champ! Kudos to the Dev.
I try to use BLN and the blinking option doesn't work. Any help?
Apparently it won't even let me access Recovery as if it doesn't even exist. I don't want to have to Odin back to stock just to get everything working.

I'd check what rom you are trying to use with this Kernel. I believe the dev said it was compatible with CM7 and Miui. So i'm guessing your results may vary depending your rom.

Since I am working on new kernel from source, I decided to give away this LP6 rooted kernel which was planned to be released with ICS Stunner.
I found GPS better on this kernel but this belief can be placebo...

Maybe for dual compatibility between stock TouchWiz and AOSP
works fine with TMT1.0....cmw manager shows "various features have been disabled" message, but CWM recovery is present and working..

Can you make an oc kernel for the 4.1.2 release for france??? Also to add GPU oc/uc/uv/
Still fighting with pvr graphics subsystem. My compiled kernel boot successfuly but failed to start Android graphics If I can solve the graphics problem, we still lose the exFAT support.

Overclocked CPU and GPU
Update, restore back 1.008GHz:
Overclocked 3.0.31 kernel kkboot-0.4-jb-overclock-p31xx.zip! Tested on P3100 JB 4.1.1 P3100ZSCLL1_P3100BRICLL1, CPU clock: 300MHz 600MHz 800MHz 1.008GHz 1.2GHz, GPU clock 153.6MHz 307.2MHz 384MHz, latest PowerVR SGX 540 driver. Backup yours /system/lib/modules and /system/vendor folder before applying this flashable zip. By applying this boot image you will lose your exFAT kernel support. This kernel only support FAT16 and FAT32 SD card. Use this at your own risk.
Flash this using CWM recovery. Beware: this is totally different kernel with the OP and a flahsable zip to restore the original kernel not ready yet!
can you explain please how the blackhawk file is different from the other file in OP.

Android licensed as Apache and Samsung only released the GPL part of the source so it's quite difficult to build Android base on Samsung's GPL source only. Better you use Cyanogen's P3100 port as base.

Confirmed by my friend, my overclocked kernel works on his 4.1.2!
The overclocked kernel now "officially" in KK-Boot thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1855700 with a small fix: give a regular user to access /sbin .

*p31xx.zip file name mean may be it compatible to P3110
kkboot 041 jb OC kernel will work with all stock and custom jb touchwiz roms right ? wont work with CM 10.1 ? thanks
seems like my tab cant handle any type of cpu overclocking
