[Q] touch nooter 1.6.24 upgrade? - Nook Touch Themes and Apps

Hello!
Nook touch the Android Rooting version of the current is 2.1.
Android version of the upgrade 2.2 possible?

I've asked that before, but there is not much to be gained, besides the android OS upgrade - no flash running on STR anyway. What is there to be seen on a eink screen anyway?

apeine, For me the biggest advantage to running android 2.2 would the ability to use appstosd and things like that.

[Q] Touch Diamond to become like Android? (Eg: Gingerbread)

I have been searching through the ROMs in development for HTC Touch Diamond. It appears that some are outdated since this phone is old. My girlfriend asks if there is a android ROM compatible and stable for this ROM? If there is, can you please link me to it?
I am hoping it is also to latest, such as Gingerbread on Android.

You just flash cm's 4.2.2 like you did 4.1.....no different. Better read up on it.....sounds like you're a bit confused on how things work. Better to understand exactly what you are doing and not just blindly follow instructions.....best way to keep your device working smoothly and issue free.
The fact that you're on 4.1 has nothing to do with what you flash. Unless you're talking about a dirty flash.....which is a bad idea when changing o/s versions. You want to do a clean install. Backup your apps with titanium backup first.....then off you go.

[Q] Installed Bootloader Unlocked, Rooted, xRecovery v0.1, whats next?

Hey boys,
Finally i decide to upgrade my Xperia X8 (from the last android official update) to a new version. I past the day reading guides, looking videos and finally i got my:
* Bootloader Unlocked.
* Rooted.
* xRecovery v0.1 Installed
Now im trying to decide wich version should i try to upgrade. Some people would say as a first shoot i should upgrade to 2.3.7, but i would like to install a newer version of android like 3.X or 4.X if possible.
My question is, there is any problem if i try to upgrade from Android (2.0 or 2.1) not exactly sure to a newer version (Android 4.0)?
Wich guides do you recommend me to follow, i think that the newer versions ask you to install something called kernel, but 2.3.7 doesnt right?
Thanks for advance.

Running new apps on old OS

The newest version of snapchat requires at least Android 4.0
Is there any possible way I can update my OS on my exhibit ii from my current version, 2.3.6. to Android 4.0?
I read a lot of posts about rooting and such but I really don't understand what it is or how to do it
If someone could provide me with a fix for the snapchat issue (running it on my current OS) or detailed instructions on how to safely root my device to run Android 4.0 on my phone then I will be the happiest girl in the world!
Please please please help! I just want snapchat back
