Lg g4 spares parts - G4 Accessories

guys, I just changed iphone to LG G4.
I was running today, and dropped my phone..(also my heart)
Its been at least 3 days with this new phone, and unfortunately my camera lens cracked.
I dont know why but It cant focus, i guess my laser part broke??
I got this phone from t-mobile, and is there any spare camera lens part i can purchase?
I found few g3, but not g4. I wanted to fix it ASAP and get the 14 day policy and change it to new G4 ..
If you guys have any tips, please let me know!
thanks!!

Just return it within the 14 day policy and say it came that way.

What use is a wizard....

hi.
I have recently bought a kaiser (tmobile vario III). I have the original vario, fully working, but the screen is cracked in many places. i have used it like that for months without problems.
Should I throw it away, or do people buy such models for spare parts?

Well,if still under warranty, get replaced or repaired by the Manufacturer or vendor from whom you bought this phone.
Otherwise you can get a new screen from ebay, buy it,lol
If you read the sticky, folks do still want damaged ones...they can always Frankenstein a new one. For instance (too late now, as a new one is arriving)...last week, I would have killed for a spare, so I could fix my damaged usb port.
There is a sticky about saving our dying phones, you may want to check it out.
donate to one of the developers.. er.. I think vijay555 is looking for one.
I am always looking for broken PDA phones too. It's fun to fix them (yes, I am a nerd).

Display broken, need ideas for the way ahead

I had purchased the Moto Turbo (Indian Version XT 1225) for ~USD 650. Recently, in a minor accident it broke. Ouch
>> Visible damage: Top glass seems fine, but the display underneath is cracked, no longer functional (We do not have the free one time screen replacement option that Verizon gives. Plus I did not have any other insurance).
>> Possible invisible damages: Right after the accident, the phone became pretty hot, and it was vibrating every 15 odd seconds for about an hour or so (till it ran out of battery, perhaps). I don't know if the internals suffered from any shock or heat damages.
The authorised service center says the Display unit replacement will cost ~USD 280. Any other possible, though unlikely, damages to the battery/motherboard can be determined only after the display is replaced. I have not been able to find out if display units for the Turbo are available for cheaper from third parties in India, any idea about that?
Now my dilemma. Do I go for the screen replacement for a very expensive ~USD 280. Or do I go in for a cheaper handset. I really liked my Turbo, more than what we have on the market right now, the only two gripes being the camera quality compared to it's peers and the doubtful upgrade to Android M. But it has not had a price reduction, and in the current mobile market, shelling out ~USD 650 for it seems too much.
Thoughts?
I think it's worth fixing.
I broke mine, got the LG G4, got fed up with the LG UI, overheating, lag, bad signal and crap battery so I just sold it and bought brand new Droid Turbo. I'm waiting for it to be shipped since I live in Spain and I had to get it of eBay .
Nothing better on the market atm..
I too am from India and I too broke my turbo screen but fortunately only glass is broken and phone is still usable.
I've not yet looked outside service centre as my phone should be under warranty but also don't want to spend so much just for broken glass. There is no separate glass but need to go for complete screen. I'm going to try local market once I get time to see what are other options before I go to service centre.

[POLL] Has your water-damaged z3c been replaced?

Hi there,
There are already threads about the "not-100%-water-proofness" of our wonderful z3c. Those are mostly about how disappointed peeps are, but what I would like to know is if the phone got replaced or not. Unfortunately, some weeks ago, even after doing the pressure test, my beloved Z3c died short after taking 2 photos in the pool.
I have two simple questions:
1. In case you have sent in the phone due to water-damage, has it been replaced by Sony?
2. In which country/area do you live (just to see if Sony's policy changes depending on geography)
Thanks!
I got a new one, i put my phone into a pool and i was taking pictures and suddenly it turned off so i put my phone into rice for 3 weeks untill Sony give me a response about... then i had to send my phone to the Sony Factory near my city and less than a week i got a new one I'm from Acapulco, Mexico

You haven't been cliff diving, have you?
November 2014, my phone drown within 20 minutes when I used it for a movie and pictures in a 1,5meter pool (just like the commercial).
When I got back home after my holiday, I contacted Sony and the seller (T-Mobile). After 3 weeks I received a brand new phone with a new invoice and warranty.
Sony solved it completely for me.
(I'm from The Netherlands)
All I got back from Sony in Sweden was: your phone is water damaged, we can't repair it and therefore can't do anything. :crying:
I was taking photos in swimming pool for 10s, went out, dried the phone with a towel. After 5min I had a brick with water on camera.
Sony Portugal replaced it with a new one.
damn.. it seems that all around the globe they replace the phone. I'll keep you posted guys, I loved my z3c, and really don't want to have to buy a new one because of those flaps.
To answer your questions...
1) yes
2)I'm from Malaysia
I have already posted a warning regarding this issue a couple of weeks back in the forums. It is sad to see another person who has encountered the same problem here. The Z3C is great, its just a shame that the waterproofness is not as advertised in the long run. Hope you can get your replacement :good:
yes
Netherlands
i wasn't get new replacement phone but I got new mainboard for my damaged phone
Hi, where did you send your phone in malaysia? mine just happened, just taking a couple photo under the water in pool then suddenly turn off by itself. hope mine also can get a new one.
Replaced a water damaged D5833 in Singapore 15th Jul 2015. Went to Sony Service Centre. From the letter i recevieved this 1 to 1 exchange is limited to ONE time only.

Rear camera replacement with s6 sensor

Hi guys, so I somehow shattered the lens on the back of my phone and ordered a replacement online. However, I thought about just replacing the camera sensor as well because it has the focus issue where I have to masterbate my phone by shaking it before every picture. I would love to just replace the lens and send it in to samsung for repair since I'm still under the 1 year warranty, however, I'm not sure if they'd check my knox counter, which will show the phone has been adulterated.
I can't seem to find Samsung parts online for the note 4, I don't want some generic camera sensor. However, the GS6 uses the same imx240 sensor and original parts can be found online.
Do you think there will be an issue with the gs6 sensor in my note 4? Replacing parts on electronics isn't an issue for me, I am just more interested in compatibility.
Thanks for your time and any assistance!
As far was warrant hours,I have a galaxy tab s that was under warranty. I rooted it, but was completely stock. The thing just turned off one day. They replaced the motherboard and said the charging port was bad and replaced it as well. Then they said I had rooted it, do they wouldn't cover it. Even though it was hardware failure, they denied it because of root. I spoke with everyone I could at Samsung, but to no avail. And yes I was beyond nice to them. If it was a software issue, I would have paid the stupid fine and moved on. But a hardware failure in the first 6 months they should cover. So just a heads up on trying for a warranty if you've rooted it.

Search the note 4 forum. I'm sure someone tried this already and it didn't work.

How to get phone replaced ASAP? (in US)

Hi guys, sorry if this is the wrong place to ask about this but I got my pre-ordered 5G 10 days ago and besides the battery not as big as advertised, the phone is great.
I was out this afternoon testing camera and GCam and weird problem came up. There is mosture covering all 3 camera lenses only if I use the camera. You read that right. The glass covering all 3 lenses on the back turn foggy the longer I left the camera on and the fog disappear completely about 10 after I turn off camera.
I am leaving the country next Sunday and want to get this resolved ASAP so wondering if I can head to a Samsung Experience store to get it swapped.
UbreakIfix handles on site warranty repairs in the US. I'd see if one is near you.

Hey idk where you're at on this but at the Verizon shop where I got my S10 they've got a vacuum machine that's supposed to be able to remove ~all~moisture from inside your phone. Takes a few hours but it's $29. Might be worth a shot
The phone is new so Samsung ask me to return it and they will apply the same promo to the next S10 I order
