[Xposed Module] PerfectColorBar - get dynamic navigation + status bar color in apps - Nexus 6P Themes and Apps

So I've been trying to find an app like this forever ! I've tried others like DroidTint, Flat Style and Lollistat but most of them slowed down the performance of my phone. This is the first app that I've found that makes my system look even more beautiful without taking a toll on the performance.
I did not make this module and have nothing to do with it's development. Just thought I would share this and hopefully you guys appreciate it !
Sorry ! Can't add external links as this is my first post >_>
UPDATE: I was watching a movie on Netflix and noticed that the app made the status and nav bar transparent! Looks beautiful!
UPDATE: found a way to add screenshots!

This seems to work significantly better than flat style color bars.

With flatstyle a of situation where it colors the nav bar white and the buttons also white, this goes for black bars to. with this its only issue is with black as it colors it with a very faint grey which i am not sure how to fix.

Ditto on the black bar. I actually paid for the app and was super bummed i had to delete it. A good example is the stock clock app which i use every night. if you use night mode like i do there is a gray bar that remains and no way to fix it without turning the function off everytime. That is the only issue i have seen but i dont want to fool with it every night before bed otherwise its perfect

I prefer something that's more accurate and doesn't change color too much.
I stopped using g PerfectColorBar last week. The nav wouldn't match what it was supposed to, but instead it would be the same as the status bar on a few apps such as messenger. It happened after one of the updates though.

LoliStat Reborn is way better.
Perfect Color Bar didnt work with a lot of apps of mine. It messed up my Settings app colors. And the developers first language is not english so the app UI is very confusing.

[Theme] Flat Black for CM 6.1.0 RC HDPI Devices *Testers Needed*

After doing a quick port of my flat icons theme for MDPI devices, I've now given HDPI devices a treat.
Big thanks to the CyanogenMod team for making the framework so similar between these devices and unlocking sooo much potential.
This theme should hopefully work for Nexus One, Desire and Droid, however I can't test them all so I need help from this great community.
As I only have a Desire, please understand that I am not responsible for any damage to your device.
That being said, I've only edited the framework, so as long as you can boot into recovery and have a theme you know works, you should be fine to fix any bootloops which may occur.
These are only made to work on CyanogenMod devices, and only CM6.1.0 RC 1 (RC2 for the droid) and to work properly require metamorph to be installed.
Anyways...now thats out of the way....here are some pics;

These can be mixed and matched to your liking. The themes have smooth animations and the lockscreen background in portrait mode can be changed with ninjamorph.

I know you created these for HDPI devices but you think the lockscreens can be made for MDPI? like the HTC Hero?

There is already a beta port of this theme in this very forum for MDPI devices. The lockscreen isn't included yet, but that's why it is a beta. So in short, yes it is hopefully coming.

i'm on RC1 yesterday and now i'm back to OD, wish i could help but kinda lazy right now~~ hopefully got many testers for you mate. cuz i cant wait to use these themes on RC1.
am using the flat black on OD btw... and it rocks! though i hope the 3G/HSDPA icon could be better. otherwise, you're awesome! **flashing the grey one, hand got itchy suddenly. hehe...**
Seems to work on my evo. I flashed the zip for the google nexus 1 and applied the grey metamorph. Is the grey supposed to have a gradient? It's flat on my evo. I've got a triangle on my notification bar to the left of the 3g icon.
edit: I rebooted and got the gradient, but I still have the triangle, and I'm not roaming.

Interesting...I'm wondering if it's something to do with 4G. I think all icons are give a number, and when that number is called upon it shows the icon. Having 4G support might mean the icon numbers are out of sync.
I'll do a build of the EVO and post later here for you to check.

I don't have 4g coverage so I'm not sure why the icon is there. Doesn't really bother me much. I'm just happy to have found a theme I like.

I've addded an EVO Base framework. It could eliminate that triangle issue. Might be worth doing a backup before you flash it
I haven't used the grey theme in a while, the light portion of the icons too washed out on the screenshot, how about on the device?
That fixed the problem. Thank you!
I moved to the black bar theme because the grey letters are too faded out. it's looks just like the screenshot.

[MIUI] MINIMAL-ICS V2(that saves some battery)

The Battery life has always been the hot topic on every rom, mod and other subjects. The more colors that show on the screen does in fact use more battery than a minimal colored screen...
So I decided to make a clean version of ICS. I see a difference in my battery life since I made this theme. Try it out.
Here are some screen shots

Excellent theme dude, exactly what i was looking for, the gray backgrounds in ICS irked me, also made it difficult to read in sunlight.
This is perfect! Simple theme and still elegant b'coz of the blacks.
Thank you very much!
No, Prob...
I was actually trying something out... since samsung started making dark menus and and other things in the newer phones, it got me thinking. I wonder if it would save some battery life if not a lot of screen was lit. I've been testing this for a couple days... seems to give me about an extra hour or 2.
Only thing I would change is the color of the wifi, bluetooth, signal, etc. with the notification bar pulled down. It always bugs me that when the notification bar isnt open they are blue or what ever color, but then when you open it they all go white.
Other than that looks like fun. Ill be installing this tomorrow.
Nice work annex.

Very nice theme. There are still a few light themed items - the buttons in Gmail and the bottom bar in the Messaging list screen - but it's not a lot. I think some of the menus can use separators but that's my opinion. Overall very nice, I'm using it now.

[NEWS] Android 4.4 KitKat All-in-One.

With Android next iteration right around the corner (October 14 allegedly), i believe we need a dedicated news thread about Android 4.4 KitKat, as the leaks are appearing almost weekly.
Please lets stick our conversation to the leaks, not mockups or Nexus 5 news.
What we "think" we know so far:
September 29, a bug report log file and corresponding screenshot, the build number is KRS74H, which indicates a date around September 13th.

September 16, the device in the images was apparently left charging unsupervised by a Google employee at a bar features the lock screen and top bar.
So.. What's the new features that will available on Kitkat, eh?

It was initially meant to be called KLP, and i believe that was the name that the Android team had been using internally.
The whole kitkat naming thing was recent, so i guess that they will have to modify those types of last minute things (like the usb debug icon)
The white WiFi and signal icon makes me feel it didn't connect to Google service

But the clock and battery are also white, which may mean that its simply a status bar wide colour rather than an indication of connectivity to google.
My guess, the wifi and signal icons will turn blue when connected to Google Services.
I kinda understand the new color scheme, the quick settings are white, notifications are grey, the blue clock and battery are dissonant with the rest.

Every picture shows them always white. That would be strange to turn signal and wifi blue and not match the colour scheme.
Just a thought, but color change is happening since Gingerbread and it's a handy feature so let's hope Google doesn't ditch that.
I'm glad to see the keyboard screenshot. I would like to see a better stock keyboard. I'm looking for an excuse to use stock, but currently it's just not better than Swiftkey.

Nav bar...

Forgive me not finding it, I did look, but I thought I recall seeing people talking about how to change the color and behavior of the nav bar on the Mi Mix (bar with home, back, menu buttons). I think I would prefer if it was just always dark and maybe also always present. Looking for options to play with.

Would love that too. I normally have everything at least darkened but not white. Unfortunately I think you can't change menu and NavBar Color on your own but only with a theme which changes everything and (mostly) has to be "bought" with mi credits. Very frustrating.
Hope someone has a better answer.
I'm using Xposed and a module called flat color bar... It colors the navbar to match whatever app you are using. Requires root tho obviously.

There's an app called Navbar Apps that lets you change the color of the navbar without root. Though it has a problem with the Mi Mix since the navbar is rounded. Where the radious begins and below it on the navbar it will always be white so it looks a little weird on this phone unfortunately.

You can just swipe it away and it will stay away and use the "Quick Ball" instead.
If you are rooted there is an easier way using xposed framework, just download and install " force immersive mode" which gives you glorious full screen for what ever app you wish.....ive enabled it and it's absolutely awesome...the nav and status bars just disappear till you need them.

I was looking all over but this. After hiding even the black bar went off. Very happy now.
Will wait for unlock, install EU rom, nova launcher and desktop visualizer to create invisible icons.
Then entire screen will be clean as slate.
Thanks once again.
you can change its color and or presence permanently IF you unlock the bootloader and root the device. Personally I am going to go the non root method and just have it hide whenever possible. I see no reason to risk anything root /bootloader wise just to change what should be an option already in the ui.

This is what I did too

Status bar,battery signal strength etc

Are there any options available to shift the status bar postition periodically? I'm asking because I remember my Note 4 had some image retention where the battery, clock, signal strength was depicted.
I'm thinking the black wallpaper background didn't help my case either and probably increased "screen burn in" likely hood.
I read about immersive mode already.

So dark themes are bad? I've always used dark themes on my phones. I don't like lighter themes, but might have to reconsider, I guess.
My wife's Note 4 had terrible burn in around the status bar, so I know exactly what you're saying, but she didn't use any theme and had a bright picture as her background.

I read from another learned poster on here about image retention and it's worst if you for example have a pitch black background and pure white status icons similar to what I'm currently running on mine. Apparently that's why since Android version 7 I think, the top of the status bar is colored.
Gonna try and find the link.

I didn't go with a completely black theme this time. I'm using the Manner II Samsung theme from the Samsung Theme store. It has a lot of black/dark gray and purple. It's a nice theme. Bright themes annoy me because they show every flaw in screen uniformity and I see them all.
Doesn't AOD do exactly what you're asking with the areas that it displays? It would make perfect sense for them to also do it for the status bar area and any areas that display frequently.
Burn in is the downside of this technology, especially for people who use their phones a lot. Given how most of the flagship products use OLED, you'd think that someone would have come up with a solution for it by now.

It's primarily this area that concerns me, as when it's always black with status indicators all white.
