is it possible to install Viper4Android on Nokia 7 Plus with locked Bootloader ? - Nokia 7 Plus Questions & Answers

Hey guys, i am thinking about buying a Nokia 7 plus.
I know, that it`s impossible to unlock the Bootloader (yet).
So my question is: Can i install Viper4Android without problems on a brandnew Nokia 7 Plus or is an unlocked bootloader a MUST to install it?

Viper needs root and the phone can't be rooted unless bootloader is unlocked.

Some nokia model support viper whitout root. Maybe ours too later. Ggogle it.

Viper needs root in order to patch audio fx.

Pre-rooted Rom for Mi5??

Hi, As we all know, we need to unlock bootloader to root. But is it possible to install pre-rooted rom via MiFlash on edl mode to Mi5? Because it is possible in redmi note 3 pro, as in this example. Thanks for the share.
Just install the global ROM via update app.
You can enable root in the security center with unlocked bl

Stop telling people this!!! It is NOT true. You STILL have to unlock the bootloader first otherwise on the dev ROM it just has a note saying you need to unlock the bootloader instead of the root options.
Why did people make this stuff up? It wastes people's (like mine when people first claimed this) time.

Root and Cyanogenmod

Hi all! I recently got a Huawei P9 vodafone branded (L09C02B123) and I am very happy with it. I wanted to ask if there is a safe unlock bootloader and root guide for this version or do I have to de-brand it? And if I wanted to unroot the device can I go back to the vodafone version as it first was? And since I don't like the MIUI software (the only downside) when will the CM 13 roll out to the device?
Thanks

Hi.
Please download the SRK Tool. It can do almost anything you need on your phone.
Wrt the custom ROM, you asked, unfortunately we only have one custom ROM and one slim ROM atm.
What i did was, root, debloat the ROM myself, flash a 3rd party launcher, and flash the L Speed app from Play store.

Thanks for the answer. Your method is smart but do you know when Cyanogenmod will be launched?

Cyanogen Mode is quite different from stock version of the p9 software or variants of it. Drivers would be a great issue in that way. Since the Kirin 955 processor is relatively new and not as common as Quallcom's Snapdragon, there would be a long long way to see a Cyanogenmod for our p9s.
However it is a job for ambition and determination. So, who knows maybe one of the great developers around will take a step forward
Hi guys again, I remember I am running the EVA-L09C02B123 which is a vodafone branded version. Can I root this version? I heard that you need to de-brand it first. Is it true?
You can root it without de-branding but you must unlock the bootloader first. That's going to trigger a factory reset, so back up your stuff.

Are Android One bootloaders unlocked already?

Hello everyone. I just wanted to know if Android One First-Gen phones have unlocked bootloaders cos I am going to root my QMobile A1 and install a recovery on it to flash a Nougat ROM later on. If it's locked then how can I unlock it? Thanks for helping!

N920A OEM unlocked

I have an N920A but I didn't but it from AT&T, I bought it unlocked from Amazon. The reason I'm posting is that I had the option to OEM Unlock the device and I would venture a guess that it is actually working. So my question is that is there any way in which I can root or install a custom ROM.

So far, Nokia doesn't support unlocking of 7 Plus.
This has proven to be one of the best, unofficial, methods so far. I'm not trying to endorse or anything but i've successfully unlocked my N7P without any problems. Granted you need to pay for the service.
Not sure if i can post links here but google techmesto nokia after august and you are good to go.
