i noticed that i still got charged last month for my s9 - so i have now made 13 payments - and this month i have 2 standing orders one for the old one - still active will be charged on the 5th - and the new one - charging me on the 15th - not really sure what to do - i dont want to pay for 2 phones - and am pretty sure i wont see a refund

I don't know about UK but in the USA on the Shop Samsung app it shows when your buds should ship "Ships Week Of April 1st" is what mine says.

Niceee now let us know how they work
They sounded flat at first but once I switched the tips to ones that better fit my ear they're sounding pretty good tbh. They're not bass heavy but have a more balanced soundstage. Dead easy to set up, open the case and the phone does the rest. The touchpad is a bit odd or maybe I'm not used to them but it seems they don't register some taps when doing multiple taps like to switch tracks. Will get a better feel for them once I get to sit down and properly use them later.

Well just as an opening thread for now... ordered the HTC Diamond 2...should be with me next thursday all being well
Release date is 8/3 from memory so if they ship out on the same day...
Have explained about the returns etc and that I would want to turn it on/mess about to test out before formally excepting it... the company are fine with this as long as its in re-sellable condition along with packaging etc.
Things I will test that my current Diamond (first edition) has really annoyed me:
1. Both ear and loud speaker volume (and I know about the hack that in the end simply distorts the speaker)
2. Touch screen - how much does it compare to the iphone...iphone nipped it in the bud with their screen in how good it is in responsivness...you can literally touchtype on it...the Diamond even with the hack is still not as good and sometimes annoying if its too sensitive.
3. Battery life
4. Quite important, it's compatibility with my Audi bluetooth kit - current one displays missed calls/dialled calls/entire phonebook etc on my Audi screen.
5. Any sort or genuine windows slide to answer/slide to unlock? S2U2 is great but still has a few annoyances which is perfectly acceptable given that its free, someones spent a lot of hard time on it etc
I think thats my top 5 really - my threshold is if 2 of the 5 fail, its going back.
One of the items that must pass is point 4.

And about Battery life and answer/slide unlock you don't need to bother, it's fine and in the Diamond2 it's a better battery!
The only thing that bothers me is.. that there's no D-PAD. I hope we're going to get used to it...

Where did you ordered yours? Cause I live in Belgium but I am not sure what site to order, I think pdashop.be or something like that. I am born in Holland so I got relatives that live there,so maybe it could be easier to order it and send it to their adres? The release date was the 14the of April right? Last question - price - cheaper than Touch HD?

The Diamond 2 will most likely come with Net Compact Framework 3.5, as for the price... yes it will be cheaper than the HD, according to Expansys - the Diamond 2 will be $125 usd cheaper.
I just ordered mine as well. My supplier said it was supposed to arrive yesterday, but its stuck with customs. Im anxiously waiting for his call today, if not tomorrow. I wonder if i will be the first in the world to own it (that is IF it isnt an april fool's joke!)

I ordered mine at pdashop.nl, it's expected to arrive on april 10th. I ordered other things from them before and never had any complaint. They also do very well consistently in the tweakers.net shop review. They do indeed have a belgian equivalent: pdashop.be.
For me, service is important. I have owned both an E-ten PDA and an HTC PDA. Both have had problems and have been sent RMA once. If a repair is needed, I want that to happen quickly and without trouble. I would never buy any grey device. But that's just MHO.
At a Webshop here in Switzerland it says "will be available approx. early April".. I guess it's coming on the 10th of April aswell.
Can't wait to replace my HTC TyTN II with a Diamond2...

I don't know where to buy in India. However, devices sold in different countries have different ROM's. If you buy a device with a language different from your own you would have to hard splash it and upload a custom ROM from XDA or an official HTC ROM in another language. You'd be screwed if it would break and you would need to have it repaired under warranty. Then it has to have the original ROM it came with on it.

I am in exactly the same boat. Waiting on Amazon to see if they list as a pre order before launch date. Obviously running out of time.
I am toying with the idea of buying through three on a pay monthly and then cancelling the contract and paying it off. Need to do more digging on this but think you get a 20% discount to pay off early which makes it under £700 (I think)

Just finished speaking to Three about the contract and they say, it needs to be paid in full of the remaining contract period. So, I did the math and even for the cheapest plan they have, it comes up to £940 (£99 upfront + £35x24), which is £140 more than buying it sim free.
Can't decide if I want to pay that much extra money for a dual SIM variant...

I think you should get 20% discount to cancel. It's mentioned in their terms...
"Lump sum equivalent to the total of the Monthly
Charges remaining during the Minimum Term of your
agreement less a variable discount, currently 20%. We
reserve the right to vary the amount of the percentage
discount from time to time."

Hi daz_2000,
Yes, I did check the same terms and conditions on their site after speaking to the customer assistant, who clearly mislead me in the first place.
After checking the terms and conditions and having spoken to an another customer assistant, he confirmed that the lump sum is less 20% of the remaining contract.
So, I have now ordered a P20 Pro from Three, as I am losing patience and it seems the best deal to get a dual SIM in the UK with the free headphones
Looking forward to getting the phone on Friday

That's great. I haven't received any confirmation yet. I placed the order over the phone. Called them yesterday chasing for the confirmation and they said I shall get it all tomorrow morning. I hope they don't mess up with the confirmation on pre-order bit by sending it all tomorrow.

Three told me they haven't got stock from Huawei yet. But they still said I would get phone latest Monday.

Argh... Typical Pre-order frustrations!! Last time I experienced it was when I pre-ordered Nexus 6P (by Huawei).

Problem is in my experience you don't hear anything till about 10pm the evening before delivery (when a dispatch/delivery notice comes through) no way of telling before then, even calling in gets mixed results!.
I'm just resigned to getting it whenever, problem is i'm super impatient as my s9 sucks (battery and call issues).

I called three again. They confirmed mine will be out for delivery tomorrow and I'll get a text in morning with delivery slot. Not holding my breath. But fingers crossed!
So I went to my order status when I noticed T-mobile customers stated receiving theirs before the 24th. Apparently, my Note will arrive between 21-23, safe to say I will be one of those who actually get it on the scheduled release date... WHY DO YOU HAVE ME SO MUCH AT&T!

Got mine as well. I had to figure out to install the Samsung shopping app and have it verify I was eligible.
Also, I had developed the bad habit of just moving my existing SIM card to the new phone which in this case kept some Carrier features from working. Once I used the SIM packaged with the phone from AT&T and provisioned it on their site all was well.
yeah got 512gb blue wed. the 22nd and just the promotion with Samsung and my promo wireless headphones will be shipped the week of the sept. 10th

you might consider registering for My UPS - then arrange to pickup the shipment at either the UPS Location or a dropspot they use.
My UPS Driver always got to my house around 4pm - but this way, I am able to drive and pick it up at 8am. A small hassle but I have no PATIENCE.

I understand but why pre-order a phone and have to wait a month after release to get it,you would think a company like Samsung would make enough phones to cover demand.
I went to pre order around the 19th and noticed everywhere had an unknown release date or late September for the 512 model, EXCEPT good ole Amazon. Plus on top of the akg headphones they also gave the dual wireless charger and Dex pad free. Shipped day before release even.

Said the same thing as the buggy order tracker webpage. "PROCESSING". The samsung canada webpage hardly loads my order when im logged in, and when i just input my order number it rarely finds it. I will not preorder anything again. A month to deliver it? They couldn't figure out how to send an automated "delayed" email? Really samsung? And not having the kb cover is very frustrating. If anyone wants to buy a pair of buds 2 hmu! Lol. I hope you all get your devices soon. This thing is insane. It's just not very handheld friendly! Constantly worried about dropping it. But it's so thin it's hard to hold.

Wow. That's a shame some appointed social media mod or admin felt they had to resort to that. Shocking and sad. I hope you get your keyboard soon. At least their live chat went all professional and nice for me, even though they came back and said they couldn't do anything to help me get my Ultra 512 GB any sooner than ~2 months after my pre-order, and that they were working as fast as they can. I have no reason to particularly doubt them, it's just disappointing.
purchase the tab in hk 2/19 and got glass protector on the spot, the keyboard folder got it on 3/17. I had to register online, samsung did not send any email, until its time to collect the folder/keyboard

I just got my email, too: "Your shipment has been delayed for 30 days", but the contents of the email are just "We apologize that your Samsung order #__________ is delayed more than 30 days." so at least, I don't think they're saying it's delayed even further than it already was, at least not yet according to my expected delivery date, since I ordered on February 19th, and the initial delivery date was said to be April 15th, and it changed to April 19th in the last couple of weeks or so.

An update: four days after the email citing a 30 day delay, I got another saying it's shipped. FEDEX showing it will be here next Tuesday.
We in Hong Kong collect the gift from the service center, hk s not like the rest of the world which rely on mail.

Ordered mine (ultra 5g 512 with keyboard) on March 6th and got it on the 8th !!
Nice surprise : it arrived with the cover keyboard even if it was supposed to be shipped a week later.
I got my keyboard and couldn't get on with it.
I ended up getting the book cover instead - Very nice indeedy!
I ordered my S8+ on Feb 18th, it just got pushed back to April 26th. Bummer.
Oh!!!!! Samsung just changed the date of my delivery of the Tab S8 Ultra 512GB Wi-Fi for the second time, now April 26th. It was April 19th up through yesterday, and April 15th originally (pre-ordered February 23rd).
Finally! Samsung has said they've shipped my Tab S8 Ultra 512GB Wi-Fi and should arrive two days from now. No word on the keyboard, yet - still shows as not shipped.
